CHAPTER 44

Feeling disappointed and enraged, Fang Daiyu hurried home with her head lowered.

The last thing she wanted was for her mother to find out either facing her or through the maids in the house.

She had always prided herself to be one who could handle any situation by herself. So what a shame it was for her to have Andromeda make her a laughing stock.

Good thing there weren't many people at the tennis court that morning.

The door closed with a loud bang, sending shivers down the wooded sidebars holding it up.

Regardless of what happened to the door, Fang Daiyu could careless. All she wanted to do was relax and think straight.

However, in the midst of her rage and pain, what ached the most and the idea she could not let go of was the fact that he ignored her just because of a business deal.

"Argh! Sun Jungyi, you dare put me aside because of that Andromeda, huh... tsk. I was soon going to be done with you anyway. But it is I who does the breakup, not a piece of trash like you," she viewed outwardly.

Turning to her side, she caught sight of a new ceramic doll he got her and picked it up.

"You think I am nothing but a doll used only at your playtime right? Worry not... I would prove you wrong." She lifted her hands in the hair and thrashed the object on the ground in annoyance.

Her eyes burned with rage and before she knew it tears slipped out. "Me? I was humiliated. Arrgh, Andromeda..." she bit her finger and smacked them against one another... watch out. I won't tell mother, I would prove to you that I do not need anyone to fight my battles for me."

She took her pillow next, throwing it off her bed as her anger rose by the second. After some minutes she stopped thrashing her room and sat down on her bed.

Ignoring the quick rhythm her chest made, she watched it rise and fall from the mirror and how scattered her hair was.

"No Fang Daiyu. Mother made it this far. I can not let my emotions get the best of me. Who knows, perhaps that Liu guy just only helped her out. I am not surprised if it would be a case of pick, use and drop. Yes, that is exactly all that she can amount to."

Her lips curled up at her thoughts. The thought that Andromeda could not be better than her, gave her more hope and enthusiasm.

'Yes. I shall arise victorious in this, Andromeda.'

With her thoughts seeming achievable, she smiled at her reflection while her mind plotted more traps.

With the mistake of the day that happened, Sun Jungyi did not have the courage to face his father and ultimately retreated to one of the bars they partnered with.

Sulking away at a corner, he gulped down a mouth full of beer before slamming the cup on the counter and ordering a refill.

"Bartender."

The young man serving drinks did not say anything and walked towards him with a bottle in his hand and refilled the drink.

Without uttering a word more, he gulped the entire thing again and only dropped the cup when he was done.

SLAM!

Another annoying sound followed disrupting the bartender. But since this was a daily occurrence of one or two men displaying such an attitude of anger, she ignored it and ultimately, ignored Sun Jungyi to serve another customer.

"Hey. How dare you look away? Come and serve me," he said in a commanding tone.

In the end, he did not get a word from the bartender, who turned, got the drink the new customer ordered and poured it for him.

"Hey!" Sun Jungyi yelled again. His eyes dropped close as his body wavered. Feeling enraged, he stood up from his seat on wobbly legs. Drawing his feet on the floor, he staggered a bit till he got his footing, standing straight and fixing his suit.

He sniffed in, rubbing on his nostrils and continued.

Soon enough he was before the bartender with the new customer seated by his side.

"You, you think you are smart huh?" Sun Jungyi asked in his drunken state as he pointed at the bartender. Once more he got ignored and just as the bartender made to turn, he gripped at his shirt.

"Hey man, you should calm down," the customer pacified.

"Get out." He turned midway and leaned in close to the guy and eyed him. "You made him disobey me. Do you know just who I am huh?"

"No. But it does not give you the right to treat or talk down on anyone."

"I am the boss. You piece of shit have no right to…"

"You are the piece of shit and only one like you would behave the way you are behaving right now."

"What?" He grabbed the man's shirt and let go of the bartender, completely. "I dare you to say that again if you can."

"Sir, please. You have to stop or I would be forced to call secur…"

"Shut up," he interjected, shooting a glare in the bartender's direction before looking at the customer again. "What? Did the cat get your tongue, huh? I dare you to say it!"

He shook the customer with both hands, while the look in his eyes turned scary. A light scoff fell out the lips of the customer as he turned his head to the side.

The next second what had followed, the man turned his head back to face him but with it a punch accompanied and slammed right into his face, sending him to the floor.

"What!"

His brain went off instantly and he sprang up to his feet. His lips quivered slightly, causing him to open his mouth and with it, blood spewed out. He turned his head to the side and spat out the blood then looked back at the man.

He got into a fighting stance, with legs and arms apart as he readied battle. "I'm going to make you regret doing that. Ahh!" He lunged at the man, pushing him to the ground and threw his fist at his face.

Easily the young caught his fist and turned it, twisting his hand as he threw him another punch.
