Quickly the day went by and when it was noon, Liu Xueyi had to stop the thrilled Zheng Ling because of his fragile health.
Once they arrived at a cozy restaurant, he threw open the topic and the issue he had been thinking of this whole time.
"Why isn't he in the hospital?"
"He is,' Zheng Ying blurted out. "I mean he was but I knew it would be great if you two can bond like this first, so I pleaded with the doctor yesterday night and took him from the hospital."
"I see." He tore his gaze from her, letting it settle by his side where the young lad slept soundly on the chair.
"So what's the doctor words sor far? I need to know so I can call the Liu family doctor and then later we can have him moved to the family hospital."
"No need. He... He is getting to know the nurses there. I do not want to change his environment so quickly."
He nodded his head. He understood that logic but he could not let this go. For now he wdecixef not to poke her with several questions and decided to have her open up.

She reached for his hand, giving her best gratifying smile but as soon as their skin touched, Liu Xueyi retracted his hands.
"My stand is clear. I am not here for you but for my son. This..." His gaze fell on her hands. "There's nothing that can work. Nothing that can bring us together."
Her smile faded away slowly while she looked down at her lap in shame and embarrassment.
She did feel guilty about how she treated him all these years—throwing their love away but she felt...with her return, and their child, he would lean towards her affectionately but turns out, his heart was only for her child.
But now, seeing the way he interacted with Zheng Ling, it made her realize the truth of things: he had been wronged.
"Umm... I need to go. I would take him home and then have him rest well. You are busy with the company, you should go too."
"But Zheng Ying about his treatment."
She lifted her palm to silence him and shook her head. "I am not in the mood. I do not want to ruin this happy moment. Perhaps tomorrow."

Once their car drove off, Liu Xueyi typed away on his phone screen, sending message to Rong Bolin and then he placed a call to his friend.
"Hello?"
"Rong? It's me," Liu Xueyi greeted when there came no response from the other side. "Are you still sleeping or something?'' He asked again after another minute passed by with nothing coming through except static noises in between.
"You better answer your damn phone! Tsk do not tell me you are busy having sex this afternoon."
"Shut it Xueyi. What's the matter?"
"Zheng Ying... I forwarded a text to you. Track the movement of that car within the last 12 hrs till the end of today and send the report to me."
"Fine but where's the magic word."
"Enh?"
"Say it, Xueyi. I am not your errand boy. Besides I am in the middle of..."
"Please. Also I sent my location, so that it would be easy for you. Thanks."
He ended the call without any further words before placing another call to Xu Fang.
"Hello, Xu Fang."
"Xueyi!" He answered immediately with his voice filled with excitement. "What is going on?"
"I have seen him but listen carefully because what I have is important and urgent."
"Okay okay… So what happened?"
"I want an investigation regarding this case. I need to know what Zheng Ying has been up to for that past 6 years."
"Sure, anything you need. Just say the word."
"Thanks. Listen closely. I have sent Rong Bolin the vehicle plate number. While he takes care of things here, get in touch with someone to handle the other."
"Sure."

Andromeda focused solely on her work, drafting out designs that would thrill people but even with all her concentration, she did not feel great about the designs she created.
Something wasn't right and she knew it.
It was only a few days away to the start of the program.
Wanting to escape from the thoughts of her incapabilities, she decided on having lunch with her closet friend—Gu Jun.
With all the mess happening, they had not seen each other in a while and right now, she needed the encouragement.
After texting him, their arrangement was made and the place where they were to meet was picked.
At once Li Jing picked up her car keys and left the office in Peng Xiaoli and Jian Xiaofei's care.
It took her fifteen minutes to arrive at her destination and once in, she picked a VIP room, not wanting to get any form of disturbance from the press or even Liu Xueyi himself.
A couple of minutes later, she heard a knock on the door and lifted her head.
Gu Jun was here... Finally someone who knew her best and whom may not have a pressing disturbing matter like her boyfriend.
However, with whom Gu Jun was coming, wasn't to her knowledge but with the opening of the door, and their entry, Andromeda's eyes widened as her mouth fell in shock.
Andromeda froze as she saw the person who entered the VIP room with Gu Jun. Her heart pounded in her chest, her mind struggling to process the shocking sight before her.
Similarly, the lady's usually calm expression was replaced by a somber one, her eyes filled with a mix of guilt and embarrassment.
Gu Jun closed the door behind him, his gaze never leaving Andromeda's face and then they trailed to the face of the plus one he brought.
"Ah yes, as I mentioned in my chat, I want to chase Mo Yuning."
