CHAPTER 400 - Sun's Comeback Plan
All heads turned in the direction of his father. To their amazement, the man looking gloomy and frustrated a few minutes ago had a huge smile on his face as he stared at his wife and son.
"What is it, dad?"
"What you just said. Bingo! I think we have found our ticket to climb up."
His brows furrowed deeply. He did not see how his personal life was going to get them money.
"What did you say her name was?"
"I never mentioned her name."
"You did mention a name. That name is our ticket."
"Huh? You mean Kai Beifang is our ticket?" Sun Yichen asked. He was not getting the clear picture. Probably because of his earlier rage but at once his mother picked in on what her husband was saying.
"I got it now," Su Mei announced with a sonorous chirpy voice as she clapped her hands in front of her.
"How or what am I missing?"
Sun Yichen watched his parents exchange meaningful looks, smile at each other and then nod.
"Tell him," Su Mei cooed.
"Sure. Why did you think his daughter came to you?"
"Not his daughter. I meant his other daughter, Fang Daiyu."
"Okay. But why do you think so?" Sun Wu Jang pushed.
They waited for a minute but Sun Yichen still did not get what they meant until they intervened.
"I believe she does not know about our family's predicament and wandered into your arms. She must be hoping to get fame and status through you. Any reasonable young lady wouldn't be jumping at a drunk man."
He carefully analyzed what his parents said and nodded. I see.
"Yes. She had thought to aim for the heir to the Sun fortune. Her greed would be our gain." The corners of Su Mei's lips curved upward pulling out a menacing smile.
"She has not one but herself to plain. Since she wished to use my son. It would be our turn to turn the tables around."
Turning to face her husband, she walked over to him, placed her hands on his chest and broadened her smile.
"I am not a forgiving woman, darling. We shall watch to know her schemes first, the moment she strikes... we attack."
"How?"
"Do not be surprised if she comes with a pregnancy. For now, I need you two to try and get investors. We need to make the Sun family's business name still stand out."
Sun Yichen listened with rapt attention whereas his father's mind was busy making calculations that would take them far.
"That would cage her in and once she gets together with him, have her father support our business. This would be our rise and comeback."
"I think I can proudly say it, if she wants, why not show her a bit of interest to captivate her? All you have to do is persist till she gets knocked up," Sun Wu Jang said.
Just listening to his parents' plan on how to get him laid again till he knocked a girl up just to boost their business was making his head swirl.
His heart was only for Andromeda and he had done what he did yesterday to get his mind off things and let out his frustration.
Who would have thought that a small fling would be used in tying him down this way?
Regardless, as annoying as it sounded, he was surprisingly open to the idea.
Right now, his goal was to get the Sun family to rise again and if this was a means to do so, he was going to lose his conscience and go for it.
'After all, Fang Daiyu offered her body first. Do not blame me for using an opportunity tossed in my face.' Sun Yichen concluded in his mind.
'Andromeda wait, I shall get you from that Liu bastard.' Sun Yichen promised inwardly.
"So, are you in or what?" Su Mei asked her son.
"There's no asking here. He doesn't have a choice. It is for the sake of the Sun family," Su Wu Jang finalized.
"Fine. I'll play along."
"So, better take this seriously. All our fortunes in the future are riding on this."

Thanks to her friend helping her out, Fang Daiyu found her way to the Kai residence and snuck in.
She could not wait to tell her mother about everything and how she was sure she would have his baby after one swell move to keep him locked in should he wish to deny her.
Unknown to her, her father had refused to go to work that very day due to work stress and needed rest.
"Since when did I raise a thief?"
Fang Daiyu halted immediately. Having not counted him in, she slowly turned her head in the direction where his voice had come from.
The door to the living room was left wide open, giving a clear view to anyone who was in and watching.
Kai Beifang was seated on one of the singular couches with his left leg crossed over the right and a newspaper in both hands as he lifted his eyes to look at her.
A forced smile appeared on her lips almost instantly. "Father." She giggled and walked closer to the door. Good afternoon. You didn't go to work?"
"I will ask once," his cold voice seeped out, sending shivers running down her spine. "Where have you been, Daiyu?"
She swallowed and rubbed her left arm slowly, keeping her gaze down and away from him.
"Answer me truthfully."
"Umm..."
"While you think of your answer shall I tell you that you neither informed your mother nor I that you will be staying late nor sleeping over."
"Father..." Her knees buckled and she fell down sitting on her butt with her knees pressed together. "I am sorry. I did not mean to make you or mother worry. I visited my friend. Time got late while we watched a movie and I slept over there."
"Did you inform your mother and me? Or are we not good enough?"
"No. I made a mistake. I..."
"Go easy on her, hubby," Fang Mei's voice cooed from behind Fang Daiyu.
Quickly the young girl turned her head to see her mother coming to her rescue.
"She told me she was visiting her friend. Her mistake was watching movies into the night and sleeping there. I did not want to worry you. I never knew you took notice."
