He ignored her protest and kissed her deeply, resuming from where they had stopped.
Andromeda felt her body turn hot instantly as his hands invaded her skin, while his lips dished out sweet kisses she had no control over.
Still, her thoughts were plagued with the possibility of someone walking in on them.
"Xueyi," she moaned out and tightened her hold on his shoulders to get his attention.
His tongue swirled on her neck, drawing out more moans than he could have asked for as she resumed her work on his hips.
"Not so worried about the door now, are you?" Liu Xueyi teased and bit down on her neck when he noticed her grinding motion had picked up the pace.
She pushed him away quickly and got up on her feet as she rushed towards the door, ignoring the mess he had made of her clothes to do the right thing.
It did not matter to her. However, should anyone walk in, she did not know if she would be able to handle the embarrassment like when Tang Yan walked in on them the last time.
As soon as she arrived in front of the door and placed both hands on the key, the doorknob turned and the door was pushed open slightly.
Ba-dump! Ba-dump!
Like a mouse caught stealing, her eyes went wide, as her heart thudded wildly in her chest, waiting to see who had indeed come at the wrong time.
Ba-dum! Ba-dum!
Andromeda could not believe her eyes and retracted her hands quickly as she stammered the name of the visitor.
"C-ch…"
His scrutinizing gaze washed over her in one second, giving her the chills.
"Chairman Liu," she managed to let out as she took a step back only for her to slam into something hard.
As quickly as anything, the moment Liu Xueyi found his father by the door, he rushed up, fixed his clothes and hurried over to her.
Andromeda tilted her head back. Having him return her gaze with a reassuring smile.
To her surprise, as quickly as it came it disappeared when his eyes left hers. Following his line of sight, she caught him giving his father a cold glare the same way he looked at him.
Gulp!
She gulped, visibly shaken by the silent battle that went on between the father and son duo.
Immediately she could as well guess the kind of feud or fight both of them had when Liu Jinchen found out the truth.
No wonder Liu Xueyi lost it and fought back. He was not one to joke with when he was angry and even though she had barely known him before, one look at him now and she could tell his personality.
Several times when she had heard about him rang in her memory and she sized him up and down subconsciously.
If Liu Xueyi was cold then he was an ice sculpture. However, in her eyes, Liu Xueyi was the best, making him an ice diamond before her.
Andromeda shook her head, trying to get the weird thoughts out of her mind when Liu Jinchen's voice cut in sharply.
"Done staring and checking the rumours with me, who you saw back at the Lou family residence?'
Liu Xueyi frowned. He knew this old man was most likely going to start trouble with Andromeda and he did not want that.
Even with things going well for the company, he was still sceptical that the reason Liu Xueyi was exposed in the first place and blackmailed was a result of Andromeda.
Letting out a soft sigh, he wrapped a hand around Andromeda's waist protectively and hardened his gaze.
"Hello, dad."
"Hello." The deadpan silence that fell off right after Liu's Chairman's words made Andromeda's heart skip a beat.
She knew Liu Xueyi was deliberately annoying his father and from the looks of things it was working. He was wrong and should have greeted him well.
Thinking of it, she realized she had not done so as well. Quickly, Andromeda lowered her head and greeted.
"Greetings, Chairman. Welcome."
His eyes narrowed at her, before falling to where Liu Xueyi's hand was on her waist.
Sensing the agility, Andromeda slightly nudged Liu Xueyi, hoping he would get the cue and do the right thing.
Still, the stubborn mule refused to move a muscle.
"Umm… It seems that the Chairman has important things to discuss, Xu… Mr. Liu. I would excuse you two now. Pardon me, please."
As quietly as possible, she wished to evade this feud or cause more trouble for Liu Xueyi. Rather than letting her go, Liu Xueyi's hold around her waist tightened.
Andromeda smiled weakly and tried again. The results remained the same. By this time, she could no longer care if the Chairman was there and sent her elbow into his side.
All she got was a pinch on return, telling her he won't budge. As though that was not enough, Liu Xueyi leaned down and whispered into her ear.
"Stop fighting with me or I will ignore my father right here and take you inside to make love to you all day with the door open so everyone can hear your moans."
Threatened, Andromeda stilled obediently while gritting her teeth.
Without asking, Liu Jinchen knew what his son was capable of. He had threatened the poor girl into agreeing to stay behind and irk him more.
"Hmm, is this professional or don't you two have a work ethic?" Liu Jinchen questioned sternly.
"Do not tell me the Chairman of Liu Corporation became so free that he left his office to teach his son and his wonderful girlfriend, work ethics."
"Xueyi!" His eyes went red. He hated his guts when it came to Liu Xueyi using it on him and not for business.
"What father? She is my woman. I get to have her whenever and wherever I want," he stated with a smirk.
Even though he could not see Andromeda's face or hear her thoughts he was sure she would be appalled on the surface and raging inside.
