Tapping away on his laptop in the office, Liu Xueyi adjusted the screen as he laid back on his seat and went through the work in front of him.
His fingers moved on the touchpad of the laptop, scrolling through pages of the work step by step till he got to the end.
He stopped, scrolled back up and reviewed what he had written again.
Two more times, Liu Xueyi went through the document in front of him until finally, he stopped.
He had spent time going through this file but still, he knew he did not understand some things.
This was not because he was new to the work, but the problem came from the disturbance at the back of his mind.
**Flashback**
"Someone is digging deep to make an appointment with you," Hong Chaoxiang stated.
"Who?"
"The senior brother of the scoundrel that called you an old-bellied thwart. Sun Yichen's secretary and we both know for whom?"
With all the words he said, the only thing Liu Xueyi picked up was 'Old Bellied Thwart.'
That word rang a bell in his mind that triggered annoying memories.
That stupid Liu Jingyi and his stupid girlfriend had made fun of Andromeda and done that.
"I recall correctly, you shouldn't remind me of that," Liu Xueyi warned.
"What's life without a reason to laugh?"
"Chaoxiang you won't be the one laughing when I am done with you," Liu Xueyi threatened.
"Hey calm down, take that anger elsewhere and deal with someone. Better still figure out what the Sun's want from you again."
"I can already figure it out, Chaoxiang. They want that deal with Liu's entertainment industry."
"Are you going to give it to them?"
"Not on my watch. Those dubious souls do not deserve anything from me."

Reluctantly, Liu Xueyi peeled his gaze from the laptop screen, averting it to his cl phone on the table.
Immediately his eyes locked on the word unknown number, his lips curved upwards.
Taking the call, he placed it on speaker mode and waited for the caller to speak.
"Good day, Liu Xueyi."
As soon as he greeted him, Liu Xueyi's smile broadened. It was just as he had expected.
Thanks to thwarting the plans of Sun Yichen's secretary, he knew Sun Yichen would result in this means to get him.
He had waited patiently for this moment and it was the reason he was distracted at work today.
"You finally reached out."
"I see you've been waiting."
"Yes, for the sneaky rat to finally show his face," Liu Xueyi completed.
"Always cross."
"Were you expecting anything better after what you and your brother have been doing?"
"Remind me again, what have we done?"
"You've got a memory, go crack your brain to figure it out. When you are done, maybe then I will hear you out."
"I'm afraid that can't be done, Xueyi."
"It's Liu Xueyi. We are not close for you to use the first-name basis," he warned him sternly.
"Who knows, very soon, we shall."
"Highly doubt. Now shoot. What made the rabbit run out of his hole this hot afternoon?"

A light chuckle fell out of Sun Yichen's lips at the way he spoke but soon his tone turned serious.
"I think it would be in your best interest to sign with Sun's Entertainment industry, Mr. Ye."
Immediately he called the surname, Liu Xueyi's eyes dimmed a fraction.
This further justified what Rong Bolin had said before.
"Pardon but aren't you missing up the names of the people you want to do business with? If you cannot recall my own name, doesn't that mean something is wrong?"
"You still want to play dumb I see. I wonder what the world would say when the footage of Liu Xueyi as Ye Yuan goes viral."
"Is that a threat?"
"You can see it however you choose to. However, should you want this secret safe, I think you should sign the deal that would be delivered to your office within the next few minutes."
Rather than fret as he had hoped, Liu Xueyi placed a finger along the edges of his lips and smiled.
"It is the audacity for me, Sun Yichen. Thank you for wanting to be my paparazzi but you seem to forget so soon that exposing that would mean you are admitting to being the one who kidnapped my girlfriend and set this up."

"Then how did you know I met and entered as Liu Xueyi and came out as Ye Yuan?"
Sun Yichen clicked his tongue at him and sighed.
"You have nothing to prove anything Liu Xueyi. However, I can ruin both of your lives within minutes."
Immediately, Liu Xueyi's eyes darkened as he fixed his attention on the phone screen.
"You know what I hate most, it's important ants acting like the new scorpion king."
"Be sure that even when an ant bites, it is sure to sting so much."
"But not as poisonous," Liu Xueyi refuted. "In the end, what's a puny dog without its bark?"
"The bites are sharper," Sun Yichen countered.
"Not when the teeth are blunt or plucked out."
Sun Yichen tightened his jaw. He knew that Liu Xueyi may look calm on the outside but he was not someone to be messed with easily.
"Do not let those documents arrive in my company let alone my office. The second they do, you'll know what's coming for you."
"I am not fazed by whatever you wish to say. Rather I am..."
"You made the wrong decision when you chose to harm my woman and then proposed a deal afterwards. Thank you for bringing yourself to me. I'll be sure to thank you in kind too. Do not forget."

Beep! Beep!
Liu Xueyi did not give him the time to speak when he ended the call.
Just like he had said, he had his plans put in place.
As soon as he dropped the call, he ended the recorder and sent it to Rong Bolin.
He did not need to bother cutt6out any part of it, he knew the latter would do the best from it.
However, now, he had indirectly given Rong Bolin the go-ahead to do anything he wished to do to the Sun family.

"Please do. I'll be sure to make your family go down. I do not have anything to lose. The one I want to know the most already does. All that matters is to ensure she is safe. The Netizens won't really let her go for stealing their man."
H picked up the telephone on his table and dialled his secretary's number.
"Fu Chu Hua."
"Sir."
"Ask the security to arrest anyone suspicious. And anyone coming in towards this office with a document, have them taken down for interrogation."
"Yes sir."
"Be on alert."
From the seriousness in his voice, she knew something wrong had happened. It was now her turn to ensure she did what he said without mistake.
"Now, let the game begin."

Going on with her normal activities as usual, Andromeda remained oblivious to the eyes watching her every move and more so to the danger that loomed around Liu Xueyi.
While he let her live peacefully by taking down any danger he could find, they were those lurking in the shadows plotting a bigger and different plan entirely.
In a dark big office, a man is seen seated behind his desk on his rolling chair as he twirled from side to side with his right leg crossed over the left.
As dark as the room seemed, the only single source of light was the bright shining eyes that peered at the phone on the table.
"Place a call to Fang Mei," his deep voice ordered.
Almost immediately the sound of the call going through resounded in the vicinity.
Ring! Ring!
Seconds later the call connected and a hand handed over the phone to him.
"You have been enjoying it long enough," his deep base echoed.
"Sir." From her tone, they knew she was least expecting the call or such words.
"You dare to deny it?"
"No sir."
"Good. I saw your failure with Wu Bai and Beatrice Zhang. You failed to make Andromeda Kai a laughing stock."
"They were not capable," she uttered in a low voice.
"And whose fault is that, that you found useless cowards? Bickering like minute fools in a courtroom while trying so hard to rat out the other. Ingrates!"
She shuddered from where she stood and removed the phone from her ear.
"The next time your sorry self tries to actually take the phone from your ear when I speak, I would ensure that you suffer in ways you cannot imagine."
"My apologies," Fang Mei's quaky voice pleaded.
"Maybe starting with that bitch daughter of yours, so you two know your place and ensure you make her suffer."
He exhaled deeply and shut his eyes.
"You had one job; you are getting lousy at it. It is time to stoke the flames higher."
