The next day when Andromeda resumed work, it was just like Rong Bolin had stated.
She was tasked with a lot of work to do while keeping in mind the days for the annual Fashion contest was about to begin.
Having silenced Wu Bai and Beatrice, her next goal was the fashion show.
Pushing up her glasses, she pushed her hair to the back and fixed her gaze on the drawing sheets in front of her.
'Hmm, the new movie premiere that would soon be hosted by Cloudary Entertainment is going to give me the best headache this week.' Andromeda noted inwardly as she carefully accessed the designs picked by the actresses of one of the top entertainment industries in the country.
Thanks to her popularity peaking after the court trials, her fame enhanced in the fashion world and she became a designer everyone looked forward to getting a dress from.
Due to the fact that she wished to help Starlight Apparel rise significantly to the top, she decided to focus so much on producing the best designs and dresses and also meeting the needs of others.
Even to those who wished theirs exclusive to themselves, Andromeda yielded against Liu Xueyi's wish to do all of those.
The exclusive designers ended up straight on her desk and she gave her all to every detail of the design and the dressmaking.
Now she needed to pick out designs for their top actresses to suit their personalities.
Although a rival entertainment industry, her wish was to make all actresses glow and gain her exposure.
"I wish you have that expression on your face when you are designing a suit for me for my next movie launch," Liu Xueyi informed suddenly as he appeared behind her.
Andromeda shrieked and turned around fully to meet her one and only naughty CEO standing in front of her.
Not wishing she would escape; he wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her body closer to his.
"How is my baby doing today?"
"I will be good if you tell me you are not horny," Andromeda clarified while keeping a straight face and waiting for his response.
"Do not see me as such, love. I am innocent here."
"You, Xueyi, are anything but far from innocent."
"Ow, that hurts, Andy. Could you at the very least praise me for my sweet efforts in always trying to make you blush? Besides, I did not make love to you the entire day yesterday, so why make me feel bad?"
"For precautionary reasons."
Her smile lit up his sad face and he quickly pressed his lips on hers, stealing a swift kiss before releasing her.
She did not know what was suddenly going on with him but from how shocked she looked and the way her eyes rounded he chuckled mildly and walked away.
It took her a few seconds to come around to the notion that he was particularly playing her.
Once she did, Andromeda regained her composure and walked over to where he sat down on the chair opposite hers.
"How are you?" Liu Xueyi questioned.
He reached for her hand and pulled her body closer as his gaze instantly washed over her.
"I know you do not want me to speak concerning this but I would talk," he began.
His face turned serious suddenly but before Andromeda could do or say anything, Liu Xueyi pulled her down on his lap.
Taking a lock of her hair, he wrapped it around his finger, letting his attention pull from her face to it.
"You're stressed out, Andy." She sighed. Of course, with the work she had to do, being stressed like this was almost inevitable for her. "And I hate it."
"You cannot blame me. You should have thought about this before stressing me out in bed so much."
"Are you complaining?"
"Not if you are," she retorted and huffed.
"Silly. I say this for your own good."
"How about yours?" she challenged. "If you had not made me miss two days of work, I would have finished with a lot of work by now."
"It was just two days and your body needed the rest. Besides you were kidnapped."
"I know but I am not dull. You should learn to trust me. I will do my best."
"Trusting you is not the issue. I trust you more than anyone else on this planet now."
"Then your friends? Mum, dad and your family."
"They are my family and friends and are important to me but when it comes to you. You are the one I would spend the rest of my life with. It is only natural."
Her cheeks flushed listening to his cheesy words. Anytime he spoke about marriage, he gave her more confidence in his love than she could explain.
"I need you to rest, Andy. The event is but a week away. You have more than a week in fact."
"I know but look, everyone wants their dresses before then. I do not want to disappoint and ruin your company."
"Nothing you do would ruin the company. Just be watchful and rest while you can."
He patted her on the head like a child and then waited for her to refute his words but she didn't.
Rather Andromeda nodded happily like a little child and smiled at him.
She had so much to do and he had given his verdict on such work. She understood he was looking out for her.

"Hello," the sweet voice of a female rang out from the phone as she leaned forward to point her toenail.
The bore in her lovely red eyes could not go unnoticed if one paid enough attention to the manner in which she answered the call.
However, she made no effort to end the call and listen.
"Afternoon. Yes, I am Ms. Zheng. Is there any problem?"
"No Ms. Zheng, I am calling with a preposition in your mind that you cannot refuse," the voice from the other end stated with all certainty.
"Do not be so sure. It takes a lot to have me impressed by a job."
"It would be a nice one considering your five year old son, Zheng Yuxi."
The lady's eyes went agape at the mention of her son and instinctively looked to her side, fixing her gaze on the subject matter who was happily playing away.
"What do you want with us?"
"It would be very beneficial do not worry and accept my deal soon."
"Fine. State it."
"Two million dollars and who knows in the long run, you'll earn more."
"Speak, I'm listening."
