CHAPTER 293
Shaking his head, he resigned himself to handling another task before her return.
Whether or not Liu Xueyi was ready or not for her trouble, Andromeda planned on giving it to him.
All through her stroll in the resort that day, her mind was busy thinking of ways to make him pay and eat his words.
At the very least she would not be the only one to suffer this silence and treatment.
She knew that if she did not do something to curb it with him now, he would always joke around like that. And that would not be a good thing to do.
So, taking her time, Andromeda did her best and ignored all the annoying thoughts in her mind.
By the time it was evening, most of the workers had taken their naps and come downstairs to have a stroll of the resort in general.
By this time, she was already hungry and together they had a nice meal, leaving Liu Xueyi to his business.
Once it was getting darker, her tiredness began to sip in and she knew better than anyone how tired she was.
Although she was shy at first when she saw the workers, considering what Liu Xueyi had done to her, she managed to ignore the thought and played with everyone.
Now that she wished to retire, Andromeda could tell the kind of thoughts running through their minds as each spent their time throwing inside comments.
Of course, they saw it as a great opportunity to bond, however, Andromeda knew better than anyone else that wasn't the best-case scenario with this.
"Goodnight, guys," she waved her hands in front of her chest and left them alone.
Slowly though, she made her way back into the hotel and straight for his room after asking for help from the receptionist.
Good thing she met the same lady as before. And unlike last time when she had Liu Xueyi's backing, he wasn't there, meaning Andromeda could do anything she wanted if she made one wrong move and say something out of place.
Thankfully that did not happen either r and Andromeda was grateful for the insight the lady had.
On getting to the room, she met Liu Xueyi seated on one of the chairs in the living room with his leg dangling on the armrest while his back rested on the other armrest with his laptop on his thigh.
"Evening," Andromeda greeted and went straight into the room.
With how tired she was, she did not spare him a glance and changed out of her clothes into something light and small, then got into bed on time.
Straight up she drifted to sleep, sticking to one side of the bed.
Sensing her indifference, Liu Xueyi got up from his seat and went to check in on her only to find his lovely girlfriend fast asleep.
His lips pulled back, revealing a tad bit of an endearing smile while he let his gaze wash over her tired body.
He went ahead to tuck her in properly and left the room. About an hour later, Liu Xueyi shut down his laptop and proceeded to join her in the room.
At first, he decided to sleep in the living room but having her gentle self on the bed, he just couldn't help it.
He had missed staying with her these past days and now, even though she was mad at him, he just could not help leaving her alone.
Slowly, Liu Xueyi got into bed, trying not to wake her up as he settled at her side.
All through the night he tossed and turned, finding it hard to sleep with Andromeda by his side and he couldn't do anything.
At one point at night, Andromeda woke up as well and felt his body close to her.
Due to the fact that she was not planning to be here with him, all of her nightwear was revealing and small.
And given the kind of boyfriend she had she knew he was going to find it hard not to touch her when all he wanted to do was that.
A proud smile formed around her mouth, sensing his troubles. She had not planned to torment him this way, but seeing as he got tormented by it, her smile never left her face.
"Urghh…"
Andromeda listened to his grunt as he turned on the bed again and this time his body moved closer to hers.
She noticed that with each turn he made, he somehow got closer to where she was on the bed.
Without a second telling, she knew what he wanted to do. Pretend that he was asleep and hold her close.
As much as she knew he was suffering, she did not want to help him out one bit.
In the end, she drifted off to sleep that night, leaving Liu Xueyi to his thoughts and dilemma.
By the time she woke up that morning, Andromeda was surprised to see he was no longer in the room. And although she woke up late, she expected him to be there still.
Sitting up on the bed, scenes of the previous night ran through her mind, leaving a satisfied smile on her face for the longest time.
Ring! Ring!
Turning her head in the direction of her ringing phone, Andromeda let out a wild yawn as she reached for the device and checked the caller.
"Gu Jun," she announced and answered the call.
"Hello, good morning," his deep voice rang out from the other end.
"Morning. How are you?"
"I'm good. And you?"
"Fine."
"How was your journey yesterday? My apologies for not putting a call through to you."
"No worries. My journey was fine," she said letting out a yawn.
"Hmm, someone seems to be extremely tired this morning," Gu Jun stated. "Do not tell me, you met Liu Xueyi yesterday and you two couldn't just wait to get down and dirty."
"I won't tell you then."

For a moment there, Gu Jun was left speechless by her response. Although he suspected such, he never thought that would be the outcome of things.
"Andromeda."
"Pffttt hahaha," not being able to hold it in again, Andromeda burst into an uproar of laughter.
"Andromeda."
"Yes?" She answered amidst laughter as she fell with her back to the bed and rolled to her side.
"Why are you laughing?"
"Nothing. I pulled your legs just now. Nothing more."
"I see. So, you guys didn't meet? No that would be absurd. You must have met him."
"Yeah. And guess what, somehow, I ended up staying in the same room with him."
"Hhehe," a mischievous grin spread across his lips. "Oh, so that means something did go down but not the main deal?"
"Nope. Nothing went down. Long story short, I simply ignored him."
"Well, it is not so surprising that you guys ended up sharing the same room. I mean you are his girlfriend and stuff. However, I am guessing that was not the situation with you. I know you when you are angry it is a loss for the one who caused it."
"I am glad you recall."
"Anyways, where is he now?"
"He left before I woke up," she said letting out another yawn.
"Andy, why didn't you sleep at night? You still sound tired even after waking up by past 9."
"Well, he kept me awake. We didn't speak to each other don't get me wrong but he was restless throughout the night."
"I see. You were making things difficult for him. I guess I understand his plight. Anyways, he brought it upon himself, treating my Andromeda like that."
Her eyes twinkled with mirth at his support. And like a gleeful child, she nodded her head at him.
"Naughty girl. So, what do you have to do today?" Gu Jun inquired.
"Who knows? Activities with the others."
"All right, give it a rest and enjoy yourself. You came for a vacation, utilize it properly. After that, when you return, we would face the issue with Wu Bai. In everything know that I have your back."
"Sure. Thanks. What would you do too?"
"Who knows, go out with any of my crushes," he stared thoughtfully.
"Okay. Just keep your heart open. Whatever happens, happens and your bestie is always here."
"Aye. Love you, kiddo."
"I am no kid, Jun. Tsk, ciao."
"Bye. Do not forget to take pictures and I mean lots of them and send them. I need to post on my status and flaunt my best friend."
"I just hope no one gets jealous at the end of the day."
"They can, it is allowed. I do not joke with you and that is simple."
Andromeda felt her heart become full of the love he showered her. He was always there and that alone was good enough for her.
"Bye."
Ending the call, she dropped her phone and got up from the bed. It was a new day with lots of activities awaiting her and of course Liu Xueyi to tempt.
