CHAPTER 254 – First Meeting
There was no way he could not have heard the rumours and now that she hoped he wouldn't recall, these annoying fans had to spell it out?!

"Are you alright?" His deep bass inquired, stealing a gasp from the lips of every girl present.
Those words felt like a hammer used in shattering the glass protecting whatever she thought she had to control her heartbeat or what was left of her senses.
Another round of gasp fell off their lips and at this point, Andromeda wondered if they had nothing better to do than stand around and gape or toss comments from the sidelines.
No sooner had those thoughts left her lips, she watched the young man before he took off his glasses and gave her a half smile.
"I am sorry you were in such a situation but I am happy I was around to help out," he added when he noticed she was at a loss for words.
His lips held a faint smile and his eyes twinkled.
She did not know whether he was showing off at this point because all he ended up doing was making more ladies swoon.
But even if he did, she could not complain. At least he gave her his attention and was her saviour.
"Gosh, he is so good looking without even trying."
"I want him."
"Ye Yuan! I love you!"
Right now, Andromeda felt like facepalming herself but the situation was direr than that.
"Wait, are you sure this is not a movie being shot currently?" One of the bystanders questioned out of the blue.
The second Andromeda heard those words, she snapped a furious gaze at the lady who spoke.
If she thought this was all an act, then perhaps she should come and let her have her hair tugged like how Gao Yuemi pulled on hers and see if really it was staged.
Sensing the cold gaze that was sent in her direction the lady clamped her lips shut. She did not need another telling that those ladies had no smiles on their faces.
It was purely and solely a fight.
Chills ran down the length of her spine at that instant. At this time, it was best to remain shut and watch what transpired.
Ignoring her frightened state, Andromeda returned her gaze to Ye Yuan and managed a small smile in return.
"Truly, thank you. It was a perfect save if I do say so myself."
"My pleasure, Miss Kai."
Her eyes flew wide open hearing him call her last name.
Up until that point, she had never had the opportunity of meeting him before in her life but here she was with a complete stranger calling her by her surname.
What were the odds?
'Oh no! He listened to the news, didn't he?' Andromeda lamented inwardly.
She took in a big gulp and swallowed hard as she stared into his eyes.
'And I guess he heard he was compared to Liu Xueyi who happened to be the one with me in the video.' She affirmed in her mind.
'He must have been offended. Gosh! Damn you, Gao Yuemi and Wu Bai. You both deserve death a thousand times or even worse.' She cursed within her.
As quick as her eyes went wide, she tried to retrace her tracks and act naturally even though she could tell he noticed.
"You know my name."
It wasn't even a question at this point.
If he had called her Andromeda, she would have guessed that it was from what he heard them call her but that was not the case here.
"I do. After all, I work for Liu's Entertainment Industry. And besides, it was you who designed the outstanding outfit Fang Qian Qian wore to the launch of our movie together. She stole the spotlight thanks to you."
Never had Andromeda had such a compliment from someone of his calibre before and listening to him say those words out loud, she felt every bit of her anger start to move down the drain.
He knew her and not for a bad thing but a good one.
If she had her way, she would have recorded this moment.
That sweet chocolate gaze softened and a smile touched the corners of her mouth, flashing across her face as her dimples were revealed before him.
"Thank you, Me Ye."
"Ye Yuan. Call me, Ye Yuan," he introduced, even though he was sure enough she knew his name already.
"Sure, Ye Yuan. I am Andromeda. Nice to meet you."
That pleased smile was on his lips again and his eyes held a glint of humour. "Pleasure is all mine."
Unlike what other introductions would have been, they did not bother shaking hands.
Instead, he diverted his gaze from her to the other ladies who, unlike the others in the shop, seemed both amazed and yet unfazed at the same time.
Among all of them, Jian Xiaofei was the one who looked the most out of it.
She was sure the person she had sent a message to was none other than Liu Xueyi.
How then was it Ye Yuan that came to her rescue?
While thinking of the odds and reason, she decided that perhaps he was around the place and given his closeness to Liu Xueyi as she heard, it was probably why Liu Xueyi sent him over instead.
Whether he was sent or not or happened to be passing by, she could only thank God for his precise timing.
Had Andromeda fallen so hard with the back of her head against the hard ground, who knows what trouble would have been?
Shifting her worries away for the meantime, she let her angry gaze land on Gao Yuemi.
Up till now, the latter fumed with rage at being pulled from Andromeda.
But on a closer look, Jian Xiaofei noticed her clenched fists loosened at her side as the heaving of her chest slowed down.
Whatever it was that was done to make her that way, she did not know. It was not as if she was a very understanding person to let go of her rage.
Still not understanding what was happening, Jian Xiaofei cast a quick glance around before following the line of Peng Xiaoli's sight to understand what was happening.
The second they locked on Ye Yuan, her lips fell open as she saw an extreme coldness and imposing dread in his eyes.
With one look into his eyes, one could feel something crawl up in their skin.
And more importantly, it was even nerve-cracking if you knew you had done a wrong.
It was no wonder Gao Yuemi's claws sank and she lowered her gaze.
Of course, when a cat stands before a Lion, he knows better than to lift its head to make a sound.
All it took was a deafening bone-chilling aura to state and show the difference between their powers and the lesser one would mellow.
This was the same thing happening before her now.
It felt like the dragon had been injured or enraged and now was ready to break hell loose on all those on his path.
"Who hurt you?"
Those three words were like the butcher's knife and the executioner's axe ready for the slaughter.
