CHAPTER 251
Xiao Xin did not waste a second and ended the call on her. The last thing she wanted was to have an added conversation with her chirpy self.
'I am doing this for Xueyi.' Liu Xiao Xin reminded herself inwardly.
With those words echoing at the back of her mind, Xiao Xin knew better that whatever stunt Gao Yuemi was going to pull she had to overlook it.
Rather than going against her and having her use such an opportunity to play the victim with her mother, who in turn would only side with her, she decided to take matters into her hands.
Taking a quick turn, Liu Xiao Xin exited the kitchen and returned to her room.
They had an outing to go to. She may as well take the opportunity to not miss Xie Tian too much.
'I guess seeing the city more today wouldn't be such a bad idea. Besides if she acts clingy or something, I can call Tang Yan to fetch me.'
Just thinking of different ways by which she could tone Gao Yuemi's bickering down made a smile warm up to her eyes.

Having accomplished her task of picking Jian Xiaofei from the bus stop, together they arrived at the shop and met Peng Xiaoli standing by the entrance waiting for them.
"Wow, she is fast. Always efficient," Andromeda commented subconsciously.
Unknown to her, that little compliment was heard by Jian Xiaofei who always felt that in Andromeda's eyes, she would never be up to par with her.
Immediately the look on her face turned sour as she exhaled sharply and folded her arms in front of her chest.
"What is wrong?" Andromeda questioned without sparing her a side glance.
As she waited for Jian Xiaofei's response, she unhooked her seat belt and picked her bag from between both chairs in front.
"Shall we?"
Snapping her gaze up, Andromeda's straightened brows furrowed some more as she studied the look on her face.
"What is the matter this time?"
"Nothing."
"It is something. Anytime I mention Xiaoli you always become down. Did something happen between you two?"
"No."
"Then what is it?"
"A part of me feels she is stealing your affection away from me."
"Are we back to this again?" Andromeda queried leisurely.
"No."
"Then stop sulking. She is not behaving the way you are and you know why?" Rather than answering, Jian Xiaofei kept silent but the intense stare in those eyes of hers, told Andromeda she wanted to hear the truth.
"She is older, smarter and probably better. It is not a matter of whether I want to hurt you or not. She had spent the longest of time with me. However, if I chose her to bring her with you to bond, it is because I believe working with her would sharpen you as much."
Understanding Andromeda's reason, Jian Xiaofei battled her eyelids in the most innocent way possible and she blew out a puff of air.
"Stop being like a kid. It is too adorable," Andromeda commented.
"Fine. I would take your words for it. Notwithstanding. You still have to praise me, just the same way you praise her."
"Okay but so you know, she wouldn't even know I do that."
Without uttering another word of explanation as regards what she meant, Andromeda took her small black and white pocker dot bag and crossed it over her chest before shutting her door.
With her simple black fitted Jean short, a matching black t-shirt and a pair of white sneakers, Andromeda gave off the vibe of a girl ready to gilet down.
When Jian Xiaofei realized she was not going to get anywhere with Andromeda, she resigned her fate to enjoying their day.
A few seconds after Andromeda came out from the car, she followed suit and waited for her to use the central lock before they proceeded over to Peng Xiaoli.
Taking quick steps in her direction, Jian Xiaofei watched the smile form on Peng Xiaoli' face as Andromeda widened her hand for a hug.
She was not the jealous type... Much. Irrespective, seeing this and some other things always made her feel like one day Andromeda would leave her.
Although, Andromeda may not know but she had experienced such before. Something similar.
Which was why watching them easily reel out such was much for her.
More than words, she was sure Andromeda would never lie to her.
After exchanging pleasantries, together the trio walked into the shop to officially begin their hang out.
Once inside they all proceeded to check out the different women brands and items dey sold.
Before long they spent about an hour there and had picked out different sets of outfit and proceeded to the changing room.
Taking the lead, against her wishes, Andromeda started off first and came out after each change to get their opinion.
As much as there were lots of No's, there was also lots of Yes.
In the ends, she did not know what to go with amongs the ones present.
"You know you don't want to buy much if you do not want to," Peng Xiaoli reminded.
Her voice felt like a downcast angel, yet they held strong meanings in them.
It was true, no one would kill her if she chose not to purchase them all.
She needed her mind to be free if she wanted to pick out the best outfits.
"True. Besides, I thought you had a lingerie set in mind."
Upon hearing those words, a soft blush appeared on Andromeda's face but she did not try to deny it and lowered her head.
"Good. We would help you pick from these so that you can do that which you want to," Peng Xiaoli chipped in supportively.
Just having Peng Xiaoli say that was like a reminder and a boost. Quickly she lifted her head and smiled calmly at her. "Thanks."
With that, their selection became easier and soon they moved on to the lingerie side of the shop.
At this point, all three girls went a bit crazy in picking out different things for themselves and always daawing in each other's attention to what they thought.
By another hour, they were done with that too an dot was time to check out.
"Thanks girls. You made my day," Andromeda appreciated then while dishing out a calm smile.
"Thanks actually," both girls chorused at the same time and soon all three let themselves go as they giggled and walked.
Before long they wnechanged in different topics, each earning them a laugh and bringing out the carefree side of theirs.
It was always funny but deep down in their hearts and mind it was filled with immense joy.
Sadly while they shared a laughter, Andromeda failed to look at where she was going and almost twisted her ankle.
As if that wasn't enough, this small accident had almost made her lose her balance and she fell to the side a bit.
Everything had happened so fast for the young miss who was trying her best to avoid hitting someone but no matter what she did, her left palm subconsciously landed a hit on someone's head.
"Ouch!"
