CHAPTER 242
All Andromeda wanted now was to rest. She had cried and when she pondered on the matter, perhaps she shouldn't have.
Whether she cried or not, she had to leave for work the next day and the last thing she needed was to have a puffy eye at work.
However, before she could close the distance to the door leading to her kitchen, the sound of the doorbell rang out loud, forcing her to halt in her step.
Confused by the untimely visit, Andromeda whipped her head in the direction of the door. At the same time, her brows furrowed closely as she battled with her thoughts to see if she was expecting any visitor.
"Umm, I do not have anyone who would visit me. Definitely not Gu Jun at this time and Liu Xueyi wouldn't pick up my call. He must think I am still angry."
She took a quick stop in her thoughts and narrowed her eyes further.
'Hmm, he wouldn't, would he?' She shook her head again. 'Or is it Xie Tian or Xiaoli? No. If it is either one of them, they would call first before coming. Then that leaves me with Xueyi or did he send delivery or something?'
Meanwhile, she concentrated on her thoughts, forgetting her visitor at her door, the doorbell rang out loud again, jolting her where she stood.

Andromeda did not bother with completing her threat since she was the only one who heard them.
Quickly she made her way over to her door and unlocked it swiftly. Once that was done, she took a pause before holding the doorknob and yanking it towards herself.
To her shock, the man staring in front of her was the one she had already decided not to speak to.
Standing at her doorstep in nothing but a simple black T-shirt and a pair of black jeans with a food delivery package in his hand, Liu Xueyi called out her name calmly. "Hey."

To his surprise, she did not even listen to him as she slammed the door right in his face.
He had just moved his feet a bit and was about to enter but the action Andromeda gave forced his eyes open as he jolted a bit where he stood.
"Did she just…"
Before he could complete his sentence, the door flung open again. This time the look on her face spoke volumes as she wore her rage proudly on her face while pulling her brows into a frown.
"Andro…"
Interjecting his words, Andromeda shifted her gaze to his right hand and the package as she questioned blandly. "Are those for me?"
"Huh," he followed her line of sight and lifted the package for her to see. "Yes."
Sensing her interest in the package, he pushed it forward in her direction. "I bought this for you."
To Liu Xueyi's surprise, Andromeda did not wait for another comment from him neither did she give her thanks.
Instead, she yanked the bag from his hands and disappeared inside.
BANG!
The sound of the door closing once more resounded in the hallway, as she left him outside without a single care.

For the next seconds, Liu Xueyi remained at her doorstep blinking uncontrollably.
"Andy."
"Go away, Liu Xueyi. You are not welcome here."
"But I…"
"I cannot hear you!"
"Andromeda wait. Just a second," Liu Xueyi quickly let out, hoping she would give him a listening ear.
However, for the next couple of seconds, complete silence fell in the hallway as there was no longer any response coming from her.
However, rather than being offended, he found the situation completely hilarious but at this point, he knew better than to let out any form of laughter.
Suddenly the door pulled open again and he released a sigh. "Thank God you are…"
"There, three seconds gone."
She took a step back and slammed the door hard again. At this point, he did not know what to do or say.
With all of her actions, she succeeded in rendering him speechless. Although, when he was about to refute words, he recalled the look in her eyes when she first saw him.
'I hurt her huh? Sigh. But she should let me explain. Tsk, naughty Andy. I can't wait to kiss all of those anger and tears away.' Liu Xueyi concluded in his mind.
"Andy, my love." She fell silent once more. "Babe."
There was still no reply.
"Wait a minute, so the package can go in but I can't?"
"Yes," Andromeda affirmed.
"Andy!" Liu Xueyi exclaimed as he threw his hands in the air.
Bringing them down, he turned sideways before returning to face and door and stepped closer.
"I am the one who bought it."
"Yes, and it is for me, right?"
"Yes…" He trailed the answer off because he was not sure what to expect from her at the moment.
"Good."
"What?"
"Bye. I have what I need. I need the food and not you. It would compensate for my tears."
"Wait. You cried?" His voice came off low in a rather concerned manner, pricking her conscience.
Without utter a response, Andromeda pulled the door open again, took a step closer and pushed her head out.
"See," she said as she pointed at her puffy eyes. "I cried. Happy now!"
"But I…"
"Get out." Once more Andromeda moved back and pushed the door in front of his face but instead of hearing the sound of the door being jammed, a cry resounded in its place and the door went ajar.
Subconsciously, Andromeda trailed her gaze down only to meet Liu Xuyei's foot by the door, preventing it from getting close.
"Aish! That hurts, damn it!"
Her breathing hitched listening to his cry. She felt her heart clench so tight just thinking about the hurt he must have been through.
Quickly she moved closer and held his shoulders and called out to him, "Xueyi… Xueyi. Listen to me, are you all right?"
His lips pulled back a little bit as he did his best to mask the smirk on his face and whimpered slightly.
Having Andromeda show care for him even though she was angry made his heart swell with joy. Regardless, he was determined not to give in and made her feel a little bit sad.
"Xueyi…" He did not respond and kept his head lowered still. "Come on. Please. I am sorry, honey. I did not mean to hurt you or slam the door so hard and…"
The next thing Andromeda knew, he whipped his head up and wrapped his hands around her waist, scaring the life out of her.
"Ahh!"
A smile of joy and satisfaction lit up his eager face as he stared directly into her shock-filled eyes.
Keeping her locked in that position, Liu Xueyi pulled her firmly closer to his body and settled a hand on her butt while securing his hold on her waist with the other.
Her face contorted into a frown as her brows knitted together. "You pretender," Andromeda lashed out and tried to break free.
"Andy, stop."
"No. Let go. In fact, I should let you get injured some more."
"More? Do you think your heart can take it if I get injured?" Liu Xueyi questioned.
Immediately he retracted his left hand, using it to hold her right hand which had successfully landed a few hits on his chest, down.
"Andy, look at me. Look at me, baby."
"What?" she asked pulling her cheeks up into a pout.
"I'm sorry. Sorry for making you cry and uh…" She paused briefly. Her eyes widened a bit to hear him complete his apology.
But when Liu Xueyi stopped, her frown deepened.
"Well, I didn't do anything wrong."
"You didn't?"
"Yes."
"Fine then." She yanked her hand free and let it drop as her gaze suddenly turned stern.
"First you got so busy you couldn't get your call. Fair. At least send me a message to stop me from worrying. You failed that."
"I'm sorry."
'Wait. Secondly, you called, I responded calmly, and you picked offence. I got mad a little bit."
"Nope. To me that was much."
"Shut up, Xueyi. This would have been the part where you rub my head."
"But I am far from you," he retorted. Just as the words left his lips, Andromeda shot him a warning glare, forcing him to clamp his lips shut.
"Better. You should have kissed me, pat my head, pet me, call me sweet names."
"But you told me to leave."
"I didn't mean it, dummy! Don't you know ladies say what they don't mean at times?"
"What if this was part of the times when you said what you meant?"
Listening to his logic, she facepalmed her forehead and shook her head. "Really? You are meant to be brilliant."
"You can't blame me. Women are so complicated."
"Shut up. Naughty CEO. You should know me better. I just wanted you to patronize me and make me miss you," Andromeda confessed.
