"You are not a kiddo, so you say but to me, you are mine," Andromeda affirmed with a bright smile hanging on her lips.
"But I…"
Her words went cut in her mouth when she saw Andromeda move from her desk and come over to where she was.
"What are you…" She did not get to finish her words either way as a nice pat landed on her head in the calmest way possible.
"There, there. No need to get jealous. I need the workload to be less on you and also, it would be much. From now going forward, we would take this company to an even greater height."
"Miss Kai."
"It is okay. I would task everyone more. Create brilliant ideas while we also prepare for the future."
Andromeda's eyes lit up as she declared with much more boldness than what Jian Xiaofei had seen or heard her say when it came to working.
"My target and goal, is becoming the Queen of the fashion world. I would take back the title that should rightfully be mine and have the world acknowledge me and my designs. If it is war, then so be it. I won't cower before no man or woman. I would rise."
"Ma'am Andromeda," Jian Xiaofei called out but left the words hanging as she stared up at her with shock-filled eyes.
"No need to feel bad or left out. I would need your help as well and for that, I need more trusted hands I can get. Besides, you both would learn a thing or two from each other. Just do not worry. I love you as much as I love her."
Hearing her goals and aspirations made Jian Xiaofei feel more relieved and fuller of energy to work.
Her chest rose and fell effortlessly as she released a deep breath.
However, the smile on her face told Andromeda all of the tiredness she had once seen was gone and replaced with a more vital vigour.
"And I would protect my own. So, understand me, dearie. This would be tough but I won't let anyone ever stop me or hurt you all."
Jian Xiaofei nodded once in understanding but before she got the chance to voice it out as well Andromeda's hands ruffled her hair in a petting manner.
Although at this point, there was no way her hair wasn't scattered, she did not mind as it proved Andromeda's words to her and their closeness.
To Jian Xiaofei, it was as though she had gotten a big sister. She did not have one in her entire life and felt genuinely happy.
"Thanks. I will do my best to support you. I want you to achieve your goals."
"Sure. And I would help achieve yours too," Andromeda stated as she pulled her hands away from her head.
"Anyways, you can go for lunch. You didn't have your lunch break before because you paid too much attention to me."
Her cheeks flushed a red hue at being caught red-handed. "All right," Jian Xiaofei stated shyly. "I would get you something when coming, Miss Andromeda."
"Sure. Oh, by the way, when it's only the two of us, you can call me big sis if you want. Hahaha, you are like the kid sis I never had."
Her eyes flew open in shock as she asked quickly, "Really?"
Both of her hands remained raised in front of her chest as her hands balled into a fist in earnest anticipation.
Jian Xiaofei's eyes blinked severally at Andromeda as they glistened with joy and tears while she anticipated Andromeda's response.
"Yes."
"Oh my!" Jian Xiaofei let out a peal of laughter at the situation before reaching up to clear the teardrop that fell from her eyes.
"I do not know why I am so happy. I wanted to ask you the same thing but I didn't know how to."
"Naughty," Andromeda said, letting out a small laugh and this time around, rather than a pat on the head, she patted her shoulder lightly.
"I told you, be free with me. Okay? Good girl."

On the other hand, while she was so happy at work, Liu Xueyi busied himself with the company's bidding project.
They had already gotten to the point of winning it and more than anything, his father needed him to make the best of every time left and ensure all went well, leaving no room to play with Andromeda as he would have.
Being one to excel in everything, he knew better than anyone to make any silly mistake in this situation.
However, what his mind and body needed was a break. From meeting upon meeting, they kept on fixing things, making sure everything was right and in order.
Now he had to manage the entertainment industry and also, the company's side businesses and partnerships.
Luckily for him, after the stressful day, Liu Xueyi got the much-needed break he was asking for.
It was at times like this he wished Xu Fang was around.
To make matters worse, there was his acting career he kept a secret from everyone, including his family.
Letting out a deep sigh, Liu Xueyi reached his hand into his hair, combing his fingers all the way through to the back.
He drew in a long breath recalling the times during the weekend when Andromeda brushed her fingers through his hair pulling lightly on the strands.
Just having that slight memory brought so much relief to his nerves and his body as he gasped sharply.
"Hmm…" He could not believe that just one thought could do so much to him. Yet here he was, experiencing it.
"What nonsense am I doing? I am a mess and I know the cure to which I can escape this suffering," Liu Xueyi thought out loud.
"But…" He took a pause to ponder on his thoughts properly. "I want to see her. However, what if she is too busy to see me? Besides, she may be mad at me. I haven't checked up on her since morning."
Liu Xueyi let out another deep sigh as he brushed his palms together and pulled his chair closer to his working desk.
"Calling it is. At least, hearing her voice would ease my tension and help her. I also need to make it up to her for disappearing on her like that."
With his mind made up, he picked up his phone and unlocked it. Before he got a chance to dial her number, his phone buzzed in his hands, alerting him to the incoming call.
A short sigh fell off his lips as his tired eyes lazily rolled up to meet the name of the caller at the top of his phone screen.

The second he did, his eyes widened at the screen. "Huh? Oh, come on! Not work!" He lamented openly.
In truth, he was tired. All he wanted was his Andromeda but now the producing director of Liu's entertainment industry was calling him.
No doubt it was about a shoot. Their next filming and right now, he couldn't handle any scenes.
He could but his brain was screaming at him to take a proper break. For the next few seconds, however, Liu Xueyi watched the phone buzz in his hand before resigning himself to his fate.
At first, he thought of ignoring it till it ended. But when he thought about it again, that director could become pestering and who knows if he wouldn't send Fang Qain Qain after him, just to irk him further.
Left with not much of a choice, he conceded and answered the call.
"Hello," his deep baritone voice rang out.
"Ye Yuan!"
"No need to scream. Good afternoon."
"No need, God this boy! You are impossible. Have you forgotten your deal with me? What are you supposed to be doing now? You promised me on Monday and today is halfway gone already. Get your ass here!"
"Sigh! I am busy now, Director Chao," Liu Xueyi informed.
"And I should feel happy about that? Didn't you think of this before making your schedule full on a day like this?"
"I… I didn't. Honestly. I have a project deadline to finish and I need you to calm down please."
"I would only calm down after I have seen you."
"Fine. You will. However, it would be for five minutes, maximum. I need to head to another important meeting in twenty minutes. I have just five minutes break to rest my head, five minutes to get to you and five minutes to spend with you, before using the last five minutes to get to my next destination."
Listening to his explanation, Director Chao could not believe the kind of workload the young man was carrying.
His work life had always remained a mystery. They knew he was a busy person but what he did aside from acting, they were unsure.
However, when Director Choi considered his offer properly, he had to change his mind.
"Just five minutes?"
"Yes. That is all I can give you," Liu Xueyi declared his ground sternly.
