CHAPTER 166
The corners of his eyes crinkled as he balled his hands into fists at his side.
There was no way to explain what he saw. This wasn't a situation where it was the guy who had kissed Andromeda.
If that was the case and Liu Xueyi saw it, he would have stomped over there and punched someone in the face.
However, he clearly saw her whispering something to him and she went in for the kiss.
His heart clenched so tight that it felt as though it would shrink to nothingness and at the same time his chest expanded, ready to burst at any moment.
He wanted her, he didn't want her to be with someone else, but watching her choose someone else, made his heart ache so badly.
'Andy… Why?'
His eyes dropped to a close briefly before he turned around right after and took his leave from the club.
On the other hand, the second Andromeda confessed and kissed Xie Tian, a satisfied smile remained plastered on her face as she swayed her head a bit to the side like a child humming a lullaby with her eyes closed.
All the while, Xie Tian's eyes remained locked on her face. He remained spellbound by what happened.
For in actual fact, he knew that kiss did not belong to him one bit and it was for someone else. Someone he actually knew.
That had not only proven his guess right about why she did not want to leave Liu Corporation, but it meant Liu Xueyi had stolen her heart from him.
She tilted her head to the left side a bit while still wearing her bewitching smile as she muttered more to herself than him, "I didn't think it would be possible but…"
Andromeda pressed her lips together and finally let the sleep that had been gawking away at her senses consume her as she fell to the side, letting her body freely go.
Not being conscious of her actions, she had no idea where her head was aiming for until Xie Tian rushed and placed his hand at the side of her head, guiding her head to rest safely on the seat.
He let out a deep breath sigh just watching her become careless after having a few cups of drinks.
'Andy, shouldn't your Liu Xueyi be glad that I was the one here and not some random guy? You just took advantage of my lips. How do you ever hope to take responsibility."
His eyes shimmered as he allowed his warmth and love for her to sip out. With each passing second Xie Tian had to watch Andromeda while she slept, he felt something tug at the reins of his heart over and over again.
The more he gazed loving at her, the harder it was for him to restrain himself.
There and then, Xie Tian wished he could take her away from all of her troubles and pain and have her travel out of the country with him, to be free from all of her troubles.
But knowing Andromeda, such a thing was not going to be possible.
Once she set her mind on something, she pushed through no matter what and would stand strong even though the odds may be against her.
He let out another deep sigh as he picked up her purse and his phone from the table.
"Time to send you home, sleepyhead. Even though you chose him, I would not give up and try to win your heart back."

The next morning came as quickly as anything Andromeda could think of.
Opening her eyes slowly to the soft rays of morning sunlight seeping into the room, through the small opening on the curtain, Andromeda's pried her lips, letting out a small yawn as she rose to a sitting position on the bed.
Several seconds passed before her brain began to process what was going on.
The last thing she recalled was drinking and playing games with Xie Tian and then he confessed…
Andromeda stopped what she was doing, bringing her raised left hand down from her hair as a thought ran through her mind instantly.
It seemed to be like a film replayed in her head as she recalled the moment that changed her entire day completely.
'I love you, Andromeda.'
Her heart instantly began to beat at a much faster rate than before, forcing her to shut her eyes close suddenly.
Andromeda did not know why she had tried to think more about what had happened and was faced with a severe headache.
She spent the next few minutes racking her brain to get the entire picture of what occurred yesterday but all she got were glimpses and voices in her head.
In the end, she resigned herself to her fate and decided to relax.
'Sigh. Why do I feel like something that should not have happened last night occurred? Or is it because Xie Tian brought me home thereby entering into my apartment?'
She pondered for some seconds again but could not find a definite answer.
'No. It wasn't because he came in. Ther has to be something else. Do not tell me I barfed on him?'
At the mention of that thought in her mind, she lowered her gaze to check her outfit, recalling the last time she actually barfed and how Liu Xueyi had her clothes changed.
To her surprise and relief, nothing changed. She was still dressed in the came outfit with which she used to go out the previous day.
"Sigh! I rest my case. I need to call… Wait what is the time?"
Andromeda darted her gaze across the room to check the wall clock. To her dismay, it was already thirty minutes passed ten in the morning.
Andromeda's gaze faltered as she scanned her bed for her phone. Luckily, her purse lay on her bedside table. She rushed for it, opened it and took her phone out as she checked it for missed calls.
The crease on her brows straightened out upon seeing her phone void of any missed calls but the sooner they came, it was marred with wrinkles again.
'Why am I happy? Shouldn't this mean no one loves me?'
Andromeda rolled her eyes at her thoughts. Of course, she was all alone but because she also shut the world out as well.
Ever since she lost her mum, she closed the world out. Letting just her memories and Wu Bai stay in her heart.
'Wait, love.' Her brows drew close together, forming a deep knit as her eyes narrowed, thinking.
'I recall telling someone I love…'

It was at that moment that it dawned on Andromeda what had been escaping her memory.
"You have got to be kidding me. I confessed my love for Xueyi to Xie Tian… Oh, come on!"
She threw her hands in the air in utter surrender at what was happening.
There was no way in the world she would ever think of coming to such a conclusion or probability in her life.
Falling with her back facing the bed, she let herself go, spreading her hands at her side as she exhaled sharply.
'Andromeda… Damn you, why can't you ever do anything right? Oh, I blame that stupid Xie Tian for telling me of his feelings. Good thing Liu Xueyi wasn't there. If not, how would I ever face him again?'
With her thoughts going over the place, Andromeda was left to handle her worries just like that.
After some minutes of thinking, she rose to her feet and went straight to take her bath and prepare for her outing.
Sadly, for her, the thought she needed to remember the most, she failed to remember the most important part of that night and felt that was all there was to it.
And to make matters a bit worse for her, when she decided to call Liu Xueyi to find out the time and place, he did not want to tell her or ruin anything.
A part of him felt rage just recalling that the very lips he wished to kiss all the time were used in kissing someone else.
Regardless, he kept it aside and tried to focus. After all, if she was not dating the said guy then there was probably a chance for him to try again, so he thought.
After fixing the time, Liu Xueyi ended the call without bothering to be endearing to her.
Unknown to Andromeda, he battled with his thoughts all through the night and looked very tired by this morning.
If not for the fact that he had asked her out, he was tempted to cancel but when he recalled what Rong Bolin told him before leaving the club that day, he fought hard with his jealousy instead and decided to face life squarely.
'As long as there is still a chance, Liu Xueyi, go for it.'
Arriving just on time, Liu Xueyi drove straight to the front of her building before putting a call thought to her.
To his surprise, the second the call began to ring, he saw Andromeda walking out from the main entrance of the building, dressed in a pair of black jeans trousers and a white turtle neck long-sleeved blouse.
His eyes fluttered in awe and his jaw dropped the second his gaze landed on her.
Although she did not do too much to dress, every single one of her outfits, spelt her rich sense of fashion design.
With each step taken, Andromeda showed off her black heel boot used in complementing her outfit.
Her hair was left to flutter behind her as she majestically made her way over to where he stood by his car.
