In the end, all she could do while facing her problem was hope her speed would be enough and also give her point blanc accuracy.
It did not take so long though for a knock to come at her door, signalling her of his arrival.
She glanced up at the time, noting 3 pm at the dot before ushering him with her voice.

After having such an eventful day, her best part was finalizing some plans with Lawyer Chang. Now more than ever she felt confident about how she was going to thread with no fear in her mind and heart.
By the time she arrived home, Andromeda wanted nothing but a sweet rest from all the talking that had been going on for the entire day.
She ordered take-outs on her way back from work and once in after freshening up, she crossed both legs, enjoying herself as she ate her meal and watched a movie to help relax her nerves.
She had barely gone thirty minutes into her movie when she got a call from Xie Tian.
A deep sigh fell off her lips from the thought of having to converse when all she wished was to be left alone.
Right now, the only thing of interest in her mind was how to relax and not be bothered by anything.
Even after Lawyer Chang left, she did not leave the office and took another hour to finish up her work.
Although Liu Xueyi had instructed her not to take things too hard, she hated piling up work and taking them to a new week.
With the way he had planned her Saturday, Andromeda could tell it wasn't for herself anymore.
As such, she had budgeted in her mind that Sunday would be strictly for her resting without worry.
Answering the call, she weakly greeted him, "Hey Tian."
"Hiya doing, Andy?"
"Tired."
"Why? Did your boss disturb you or saddle you with more responsibilities?"
"Nope. Even if he did, I wouldn't complain."
"And that would be why?"
"Because more work equals money. So you see. I am not complaining." She exhaled deeply this time around, half convinced by her own words.
"Hmm. I do not know but I believe you have a lot going on. And by any chance, are you still so much bothered about that scandal? Are people still harassing you? You know if anyone is trying such, you can tell me anytime. I would fight for you."
"Awwn, someone wants to play my knight in shining armour. Do not worry I have things under control. No one would dare mess with me, with my boss around."
"Yes. About that…" His voice trailed off, as his mind instantly pondered on his next choice of words.
'Sigh, Liu Xueyi, if not that I was but a month late, you would not have the chance to be this close to her. I bet now is the time to take my chances and fight back,'
"Huh, hello? Xie, are you still there?" Andromeda called out to him.
She waited for some seconds but still did not hear him respond.
All she knew was that he was breathing. As to why he was not talking, she could not say anything about it.
"Xie Tian? Xie!"
"Yes!" He quickly pulled the phone away from his ears lest Andromeda took her plan of revenge and deafen his ear drums before answering her yell. "Hey, woman!"
"Good. I thought some alien caught you and hypnotized you. Mind you, if they do, I would have been more than thrilled. Then I can end the call. Hehhee," she let out sinister laughter, exuding a wicked vibe.
Forgetting herself, she continued giggling like some evil villainess, forcing Xie Tian to shake his head at her child-like behaviour.
"Naughty Andy. Anyways, how about coming to work with me?"
Instantly she fell silent and all of her mischievous laughter died down with her.
She did not know how best she was going to respond to that which he wanted. It wasn;t like his offer was a pretty bad one. Know it was good.
"I can offer you a better position in my company with less stress and maybe even better pay than what Liu Corporation's Star Apparel Creative Director work is paying you."
His offer was really tempting she had to admit but taking that would mean deviating and making proper changes to her plan.
Not that money wasn't needed, the work environment she successfully created in the company was one she felt so touched about.
She had friends, and people willing to assist her and happily work with her and she was doing great.
If she went to his company, she wouldn't be working in her profession for starters and heaven knew she loved fashion designing.
Besides what better way to kill Wu Bai than staying in Liu Corporation?
Also, she had planned that after Liu Corporation, she wished to work for just herself and be her own boss. She wanted her own fashion house and line.
Accepting his offer now, just wouldn't cut it.
Andromeda exhaled sharply as she let go of the pizza slice in her hand, letting it fall back into the box.
"Andy?"
"Yeah."
"What do you say? Work for me?"
"Umm, I am sorry, Xie Tian. Although your offer is nice and appealing, I cannot take it."
"Why? If it is that appealing, then why not accept it? After all, we have been friends for a very long time now."
"Yes. But this is different. I have made my plans. I have my goals. My priority stands and I have to pick Liu Corporation."
"And why is that? Can't your goals fit with another company?"
"No. It has to be it."
"Are you just saying that to push me off or is it because of Liu Xueyi?"
Taking in another deep breath, she stilled her resolve. It was either she came out strong or he would think he could use words to taunt her into submission and taking his offer.
"No. It is because of my revenge."
