With the way everything was going in her life, Andromeda knew it was time she proved to Wu Bai she was no pushover.
Although her initial plan was to wait and gain some stability in the fashion world before she began her revenge with the way things went, it was obvious he forced her hand.
And if he wished for an early doom, who was she to deny it to the eager young man?
Stepping out of her office, Andromeda made a turn to the left, heading for the elevator with nowhere in mind exactly as she walked in once the doors opened to her.
Surprisingly when it came to pressing the floor she was going, it was Liu Xueyi's floor she out.
Letting out a sigh, she began to conjure up reasons for seeing him in her mind, considering she had been running from him for quite some time now.
As much as she wished to probably fake things out, Andromeda knew better than to do things like that with Liu Xueyi.
He may have let her stay away from him for the past few days, but that did not mean he was not getting information about her.
And with those X-ray eyes of his, she knew it would be a miracle if she could get away from his questions.
Regardless, she had come to this point and if she did, then perhaps it was because her heart wanted to see him.
She arrived at his floor in no time and made her way over to where Fu Chu Hua's desk was situated, greeting her with a warm smile.
"Hello, good afternoon."
Returning her smile, she greeted in return, "Afternoon, Miss Kai. How may I help you?"
"I am here to see the CEO."
"That's good. He had just returned from a meeting and he is with Mr Xu Fang."
"I see. So can I go see him?"
"Yeah, but I am coming. I shall inform him first."
"No worries." She tapped lightly on the desk between them while waiting for Fu Chu Hua to put a call across to Liu Xueyi.
She did not have to wait long either, as the moment Liu Xueyi heard she was around, he immediately gave an order to let her in.
"You can go in, please."
"Thanks."
With that, she made her way to the door, knocked twice and walked in, shutting it behind her, only to be greeted by two charming pairs of eyes.
"Good afternoon," Andromeda dipped her head a bit before taking slow and accurate steps into the office to stand before them.
For some minutes, neither Xu Fang nor Liu Xueyi spoke any words to her.
They were rather fascinated by her outfit seeing that she was dressed in a 19-mome mulberry silk, floral pattern, high-end quality Qipao dress with matching black heels and a black net to adorn her hair, covering down her face up to her nose.
With each step she took, the slit at the side of the gown further showcased her smooth legs and lower thighs, snagging the attention of both men.
Sensing their divided attention, Andromeda decided to reel them in, in a different way. "Hi?"
Cough! Cough!
Both Liu Xueyi and Xu Fang cleared their throats at the same time when they noticed she caught them staring and looked away instantly.
"Hi," Liu Xueyi greeted, extending his hand for her to take.
She had wished to ignore him, knowing what his mischievous self would do should she move over to him, but recalling she needed to keep up false appearances, she smiled and walked over to his side of the table, taking his hand.
"How is my love doing?"
"Better now that I have seen you," she winked a smile at him, before shifting her gaze from the dashing young man staring up at her.
She needed some distractions else she would not be able to let go of those thoughts of their time together on Saturday.
And they had company. She needed to behave and abstain from blushing like crazy all the way in.
"I heard you just finished a meeting?"
"Yes. It is with regards to the proposal we have been working on. It was stressful," Liu Xueyi quickly briefed her.
"I see."
"Sure, and my butt hurts so much. It was a six hours meeting. Sigh! Xu Fang stretched his arms, complaining out loud, trying to get Andromeda's attention.
A soft smile spread across her lips, getting the hint he sent at her, she moved to the side a bit and placed her free hand on the desk.
"And how are you, Xu Fang?"
"Ah, my whole body hurts," he replied with a drawn-out yawn as he gazed up at her.
"I can see that. Sorry about it all, okay?"
"Sure."
"Are you both done?" Liu Xueyi's voice broke their conversation immediately.
He had been patiently waiting to grasp every atom of her attention but here she was giving it to another man.
"What? Can't she ask about my wellbeing?" Xu Fang countered instantly.
Out of all the friends, Liu Xueyi had, he was the one who loved pissing him off the most and was the closest friend he had.
He knew his friend was getting jealous by the minute and he also knew the situation a bit between them.
Whether Liu Xueyi tried to hide it or liked it in the first place, Xu Fang was not bothered.
More than anything he was out looking after his friend to get the best for him and since he loved Andromeda, who was he not to help him out?
Especially seeing as he had not yet fully taken Andromeda as his. He felt he needed to do something to push him to make the right decision and ask her out properly.
"I think because I delayed your punishment, you now think you can get more ideas and be cunny, right?"
At the mention of his punishment, Xu Fang shuddered a bit that Andromeda who was keenly watching the two had to narrow her eyes at him in awe.
She knew Liu Xueyi could be quite scary at times but never did she imagine that Xu Fang who had been with him since God knows when would cower before him at the mention of a punishment she was completely oblivious to.
Just the thought of what could make Xu Fang tremble, Andromeda was tempted to know more about this said punishment.
"Umm, ahem…" Xu Fang cleared his throat before looking in Andromeda's direction and pouting at her.
"You won't let him punish me now would you?" He blinked severally at her, making the best cute face possible.
There was no girl he had tried that on that did not fall for his charms and agree to his request.
And if Andromeda was a girl, he was confident it would work on her.
"Please."
Just watching the almighty Vice CEO, Xu Fang plead like a lovely puppy dog baby, she felt her heart flutter by his cuteness but the second it warmed its way up to her heart, Andromeda shook her head and blinked cutely at him too.
For a moment there, Xu Fang was taken aback by the fact she fought his cuteness away and was now using his work against him.
"Andromeda."
"I am sorry, but first I would love to know what the punishment is about and then maybe I can plead your case."
'Well, he wishes to take me to the worst part of Africa for a one-month vacation."

"You see, even she thinks your method of punishment is cruel," Xu Fang stated, pointing at Andromeda's shocked face.
All Liu Xueyi could do in response was smile at his friend because if he knew Andromeda well, her curiosity was piqued instead.
"Oh my! Africa is a good place to visit but for him to find the worst place there… I think you did wrong. Now I really want to know what you did that warranted such."
Realizing his mistake, Xu Fang decided to gear the direction of her interest away from the fault and now the saving.
"It doesn't matter really. Just save me. You did say that if I tell you what the punishment is, you would help me."
"I am sorry. I said if you tell me, I may," she added emphasis on her last word to his hearing. "I never said I will. I may, Xu Fang. May."
"Seriously. You are ganging up on me with Liu Xueyi."
"I am not. However, if you tell me what you did, then I would most definitely help you from your punishment."
Gulp!
Xu Fang swallowed hard when he heard her words loud and clear. He shifted his gaze from her, directing it to Liu Xueyi, waiting for some help or saving from the trap he dove right into.
"Xueyi…"
"What? You ran o her for help, not I. I didn't force you. I dare you to try and tell her what you did."
The subtle smile formed on his lips was independent of the dark gaze that shone from his brilliant dark onyx eyes as he stared down at his friend.
For the second time that afternoon, Xu Fang gulped visibly. He was not bothered to show fear at this stage. Right now, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
While one was Liu Xueyi who only wished to send him to a month's torture, the second option was Andromeda Kai, the lady his plot had affected and that would mean him revealing Liu Xueyi's secret which may ruin his friend's chances of getting her and to crown things up, he would incur Liu Xueyi's wrath.
Then he would have a double or way worse treatment than what Liu Xueyi proposed.
He did not need someone to tell him which out of the two weighed worst.
"I would accept his punishment."
