His enthralling gaze remained glued on her, taking in every aspect of her facial features as he closed the gap between them.
Andromeda did not move, daring herself to hold his stare as she watched him stand before her with little space left separating them.
"Xueyi."
"Are you the food, love?" She blinked in confusion while his words replayed in her mind.
Is she the food, was she ever the food in the first place?
"You know, your nipple is driving me insane poking out of your bra in such a tempting manner," Liu Xueyi began. "If that is the food, then who am I to say no?"
Immediately the words fell out of his lips, Andromeda lowered her gaze to see the terrible thing that had happened.
To her surprise, however, he spoke the truth and indeed, her left nipple stuck out proudly for his viewing.
She had been in a rush to check the food and escaping him that she forgot about dressing up properly after he played with her.
Just when she felt like the ground should open up and swallow her from sheer embarrassment, his baritone voice echoed in her ear.
"Tell me, Andy, are you the food? Cause I am... Hungry."
The way he asked that and everything about the question itself made it too hard for her to think properly as her face grew hot in an instant.
"Answer me, Andromeda. I am growing impatient. If you do not speak, do not blame me for eating you instead."
She felt the heat rising in her body, making her bite down harder on her lips, keeping her mental state sane enough from his emotional teasing.
"Go away, Xueyi," she uttered in a low unconvincing voice.
"What was that? I could not hear you," Liu Xueyi inquired, blowing his hot breath against her ear.
He bit down on her ear, causing her to blush some more while he waited for her favourable response.
"I told you, Andromeda, I am not patient enough."
He pulled back almost at the same time, claiming her lips for himself, leaving Andromeda speechless.
At that moment she crossed her mind to stop him, give or take else there was no going back when she let her emotions go scot-free.
"Xueyi, stop. No more," Andromeda rejected his advances, turning her to the side to avoid his piercing gaze.
"Look at me, Andromeda or I would kiss you," Liu Xueyi threatened.
"You cannot."
"I can."
"How would you when my lips are away from you?" She questioned the reality of the situation properly and dared him silently to try her patience.
Just from watching her act tough before him, Liu Xueyi couldn't help thinking she was meant for him while conjuring more mischievous ways to get her and all of her.
He immediately latched on her nape, sucking and licking the skin, forcing her boldness to seep out leaving her bare to him.
To his calculations and her dismay, she found herself moaning softly when his lips teased her.
The moment he caught sight of this opening, Liu Xueyi lifted his head and captured her lips once.
Unlike Liu Xueyi, Andromeda did not want this play to carry on.
If they continued, heaven knew there was no stopping Liu Xueyi, especially now that his hard-on raged on the more.
"You need to stop, Xueyi, please."
"But Andy, I am hungry."
"I-I… I am not food. The food has been prepared already."
"But it's you I want."
She pried open her eyes, staring into his black ones, shaking her head slowly.
"You have to stop. After all, we were only pretending because of Gao Yuemi. There is no need to carry on for too long."
"But I want to, Andy," he pushed once more, inhaling the sweetness of her smell as he nuzzled his head on hers.
"I am sorry but we need to stop playing around," Andromeda stated firmly.
Although her voice came out strong, Liu Xueyi could see her waver through her shaky voice.
Standing up straight, his eyes darkened and added to the frown that was on his forehead, which had made him more frightening from that vantage point.
"Play around? Andromeda, do you think we have been playing around?" Liu Xueyi probed.
She averted her eyes.
There was no way she could speak properly if she kept looking into those eyes.
Although dark, they held an immeasurable number of pains in them which Andromeda saw before averting her eyes from his.
This was what she had always tried to prevent since he began to kiss her.
She did not want to see him hurt.
At first, she may have not bothered much but later, she began to care more for him as he had always done to her if not more, being there and the likes.
"I am not playing around, Andy. It pains me that you think of this," his gaze trailed down her body to his. "As playing around."
She immediately felt his hurt seep out of him to his face and eyes, watching from the corners of her eyes as she blushed and fluttered her eyelashes, admiring his vulnerable state.
However, as quickly as it came, it disappeared and he wore a forlorn expression. "Do not worry, ask for what you want and I shall do it for you. I care about you."
"I know you do and I am grateful. However, I have nothing to request from you. Let's just eat okay? You have done more for me than most have. You know this wasn't supposed to happen in the first place. We just…"
"I know but like I said, Andy. I won't stop you. However, I also would not stop kissing you."
To prove his point, he placed a peck on her forehead and stepped back from her, giving her a bit of breathing space.
She shook her head, wishing she did not hear those words being stated out of his mouth and smiled brightly again.
As much as her core ached for him or his touch, she knew better than to let her heart or emotions lead her.
"It is ready, Xueyi. Breakfast, the real food is ready, not me."
With that, she made her escape from the hold of this marvellous being and went ahead to fix up her bra and blouse before making preparations to serve their meal.
