CHAPTER 133

"You really are here. My hunch has always been right," Gao Yuemi commented and took a walk closer to the court.

"Gao Yuemi," his tone this time looked more promising than the first time he was in shock.

"Is that how you are going to welcome me after how long?" She winked at him, emitting a seductive aura finally bridging the gap between them.

"My manners. It's been ten years. Such a long time."

"Hey, why don't u get the excitement I get from Xue-bear? Or is someone not happy to see me?" She asked tilting her head to the side a bit as she flipped her red hair to her back.

"Hahhaa, I am no longer a kid, Yuemi and I honestly prefer not to be named that way," he politely cautioned.

"Hey do not be mad at me."

"It is okay. Anyways, how did you find me? I never mentioned where I was to anyone."

"What am I? Do I look like a stranger to you or something? Liu Xueyi I grew up with you. I know your love for tennis is the same as your father's if not better. It was where you always cleared your head."

"Ah, yes. Okay. Well, I would have asked you to play but I know you never like the sport." He hinted at her, hoping to get her mood soiled by that and possibly leave.

To his amazement, nothing of that sort happened.

"Back then yes," she nodded slightly, "And that was because it took your time more than I did. You can say I became jealous and well, I learnt."

"Come again, you did what?" Liu Xueyi inquired, more stunned than shocked.

The lady standing before him was one who hated tennis sport as though it killed someone close to her but hearing she learnt, he was surprised that she overcame whatever it was that made her hate it.

Surprisingly so, he found out only now after all those years that she hated the game because it contended with his attention to her.

'Funny.' He thought before brushing every funny thought, recalling why he was there in the first place.

"Since you do not believe me, allow me to prove it." Gaio Yuemi immediately offered.

She did not give him a chance to counter her words when she beckoned on the young man he was playing with.

"Hey, mind if I play for a bit?" she asked nicely as her heels clicked on the floor.

"Sure," the young man responded and beckoned to her.

Liu Xueyi was left to watch as she took over the bat and tennis ball from him and went to take her stand, waiting for his arrival.

"You have got to be kidding me," he muttered, still in disbelief.

"I can't wait all day and play by myself you know. There would be no point."

Shaking his head, he did as she wished, heading for the court to play his game.

On the other hand, after Andromeda's scandal, Kia Beifang did not bother with his family and news until he was done with his first meeting for that Sunday.

Sadly, when he got back to his hotel room and he came online, he saw his wife's message about the video.

The look of pure horror in his eyes remained there for the longest time while he observed how his daughter enjoyed the pleasure a man gave to her.

The more he looked on the wider his eyes opened and veins popped out on either side of his forehead.

"How dare she disgrace my family name like this? How dare she misuse her body without a second thought? Is this what she reduced herself to instead of marrying that man?"

Different thoughts occupied his mind as he dropped his phone on the bed but he found it hard to think that any of this may have been a ploy to set his daughter up.

"Hmm," he exhaled heavily and stood to his feet, sending the cup in his hand against the wall in annoyance.

"Arrgh! Andromeda!"

All through that night, his brain was a mess wondering how he was going to face the world after the nonsense crap she pulled.

However, when he tried to find it online and noticed that everything was gone, he did his best to calm down and prepare for the final meeting.

Once that was done, he was once again visited by the link to Liu Xueyi's video proclaiming his relationship with Andromeda.

For the first time since he got angry, he calmed down a bit.

'Good thing this useless daughter of mine still knows how to clear up after her mess. I wouldn't have to do things to remove my name from her scandals.'

His chest rose and fell with each step he took, pacing in his room.

'However, I think I should do something about this to avoid problems in the future. If only she knew I have kept her silent all these years because of her late mother but I cannot tolerate more of this.'

Holding on to that thought, Kai Beifang walked over to where he placed his phone on the bed and picked it up.

Soon enough he put a call through to someone. "Hello, Fang Mei."

"Dear is that how you want to greet your wife now that you are angry?" Fang Mei queried from the other end of the phone.

"You knew how I would be and yet you still sent it."

She did not know whether he was scolding her or just talking?

Although his tone didn't give that scolding vibe, she knew he was just trying not to get on her bad side.

"What would you have had me done? I sent it to you so you can assist your daughter and save this family from embarrassment. What do I know about all of these things online?"

Immediately Fang Mei's voice changed and she pretended to want to cry, pricking at her husband's conscience.

"I am only thinking about what kind of example she is seeing for Fang Daiyu and Kai Chen as her siblings."

"Nothing. Hey, would learn nothing from her. You have nothing to be worried about.:

"I am sorry hubby but as it stands, her negative lifestyle would cause people to speak badly about the kids in school. Fang Daiyu is only in her final year while pursuing her career, she doesn't need all of this now."

"I know. I know. My apologies. I would caution her and really do something about it."

"Good. Please. I am most concerned about Kia Chen but I cannot begin to imagine what would occur should people view Fang Daiyu as a… I cannot even say the word."

"I know. I know. I would do something please do not be angry with her. I know how you have cared for Andromeda like she was your daughter, honestly."

"Yes. This is why I am still against you disowning her. She may have disgraced you and shame us, ruining marriage proposals for her sister in the future but it shouldn't be reason enough for you to do that."

"Ah yes. No. I think I should. She has caused too much trouble. Thankfully it did not affect my final meeting. Anyways, I need to go now. I would see you tomorrow."

"Okay, honey. I trust you. Goodnight."

"Good night." Even though Fang Daiyu wasn't speaking to him, he smiled as he dropped his phone back on the bed and sat down on it.

'God, Andromeda. Andromeda.'
