CHAPTER 132

Whether or not Liu Xueyi was the one in the video, Liu Jinchen could least be bothered by it.

He knew what it came down to it, his son would do quite the job in fighting for what he wanted.

Actually, what he was worried about was the fact that he had not settled down and delved deep into Andromeda's past to know all of her enemies and see if there was anything he should watch out for.

He had also planned on informing Liu Xueyi about Gao Yuemi's visit but he got caught in the moment and forgot.

The second his son left his cube, Liu Jinchen beckoned on one of his men.

"Send for He Dong for me."

"Yes sir."

More importantly, the old man wished to know what his son was up to but for now, the answers he got were enough for him to make his judgement.

Liu Xueyi had the flames of a man ready to burn all to the ground for the woman he desired.

Something he had not seen in his son since like forever and that to him told him, he was ready to face the world.

Perhaps Andromeda posed a great danger to him but Liu Jinchen was sure enough that it would make his son tougher and stronger for the outside world.

He leaned forward, taking the glass of wine on the ceramic table before him, and brought it to his lips.

While he looked on, several thoughts spiralled in his mind but one of them was the certainty that Liu Xueyi made that video to cover up for Andromeda, protecting her even before him, his father.

"Well, a secret remains a secret when it is better known to one person," Liu Jinchen noted, breathing out as he set his glass cup down before leaning back against his seat again.

'Son, whether or not she is lawful for you, I do not mind. If you want her, chase after her but be ready to face the consequences. I would do my best to protect you.'

As soon as Liu Xueyi finished with his father, he neither returned to the company nor to Andromeda's house.

Instead, he visited his favourite tennis court, hoping to clear his mind of all the things disturbing him.

One thing he had not counted for at that hour was any disturbance but right now, one seemed to loom over him.

He wished to be left alone, so he could think and playing his best sport was the best way for him to achieve that.

For his father to call him out to it, Liu Xueyi knew things were going to be tough from now on and he needed to be prepared to make them pay and save Andromeda through it all.

He had not thought of bringing her into his acting world, but with the scandals racing over her, he wondered if she would be able to fit into that life or if he would have to keep his identity as Ye Yuan a secret from her forever.

While his mind calculated every possible outcome and what the next move of Wu Bai may be, he failed to listen to the footsteps approach and played on.

"Figured I would find you here, if not the office," a feminine voice called out from the sideline as she watched him halt in his play.

One thing was sure, he did not call his friends to join him and he was more than certain Andromeda won't step out of the house.

So, who was his person?

He hated disturbance a lot but this person obviously knew him.

Sadly her voice was still foreign to him. However, when she spoke again, he got a grand idea, leaving him in a state of shock.

"Hello, Xue-bear."

He felt his heart thud a bit out of the normal in his chest at the mention of that name that only one person dared to mention in his life.

Slowly, he turned his head to the side, keeping his hands raised as his eyes landed on the lady standing at the side of the tennis court.

A subtle smile formed around the corners of her lips, while her eyes squinted at him, giving him such a knowing look.

"Miss me?"

"Gao… Yuemi?"

*Flashback*

A red jeep rode into the Liu mansion, coming to a stop right in front of the house as the driver stepped out, moving over to the back to get the door for the passenger at the back.

A pair of red heels stepped lightly on the ground, followed by the second leg and the ever lovely presence of the owner as she came out and gazed up the the mansion.

A smile that belonged to one of a child shone delightfully on her lips with each passing second she locked her eyes on the building.

"Miss Gao, the madam awaits," the deep voice of one of the suited men standing around the compound pulled her out from her train of thought and she gave a slight nod but said nothing.

This was a home she usually came to have fun over the years then and now, it had become a place she looked forward to spending more of her time in.

Slowly, she took her steps lightly, swaying her hips in her white tight-fitted stretchy high waist jeans trousers and matching fitted chiffon baby-collared shirt.

She got in soon enough and was greeted by the presence of Mrs Liu.

"Liu Jiaying!" Gao Yuemi half screamed, as she fondly called her instead of using the woman's surname.

"Yuemi my darling, welcome," Mrs Liu greeted, spreading her hands to the side as she welcomed the young lady's hug.

"Oh my goodness. You look so beautiful in person, Yuemi."

"Thanks. By the way, where is Xue-bear?"

A soft giggle, escaped Jiaying's lips, recalling Yuemi's fondness for nicknames.

"At the office," she informed the eager young lady.

"I called before reaching here and was told he wasn't in."

"Oh then, I don't know. He may be having it tough these days. So maybe he went to cool off," she hinted.

"Oh. I think I know where to check then. Thanks, aunty, I would see you when I return."

"Okay dear, hurry and find him."

*Flashback Ends*

"Hi, Xueyi."
