CHAPTER 130
Once Andromeda got back into her house, she rushed in to get a cup of chilled water and gulped it down, staining her lips and top with it.
Now that the reporters had seen them that way, she was expecting another news to spiral across the internet very soon and decided to brace herself up for it.
In as much as she had those thoughts in her mind, she still found it hard to calm her fast-beating heart.
Left with no other choice, she paved her way back to her living room to sit when she saw him walk into the house, shutting the door behind him.
The look on her face told him she would never be used to this, at least for the time being and just watching her feel so on edge made his heart flutter even more.
He loved kissing her but how was he to tell her and not risk her mind going bonkers about it?
"Relax. I have called the estate's security team. I do not know how they moved them here, but they would have them out in no time. You have nothing to worry about."
"Thanks. Although it was your fault in the first place and besides, who kisses a girl in front of reporters knowing a scandal hovers around her head?"
"Me."
"Liu Xueyi, this is not funny," she scolded lightly, watching his smile broaden.
"I know and why else did you think I did that?"
"Huh? How would I know?"
"To prove that my words in that video are true."
"You mean…" her voice trailed off, recalling his words in the video when he proclaimed they were lovers. "Oh…"
He nodded at her, knowing she had recalled the vital point.
"But you kissed me before then. There was no way you would have known that they were there, so?"
Although she was sure he never knew, she could not wrap her mind around it.
"Why? Did you dislike my kissing? Did I not pamper your lips well or have you forgotten and you need me to actually, you know get your mind and body recalling?"
His steps slowed but each one covered a big distance between them.
Thank goodness she was no longer holding the glass cup or she was sure in hell she really was going to break the cup with how messed up he was making her brain.
Her mind being the perfect culprit and assistant to Liu Xueyi immediately flashes images of her wet dream before her eyes, giving her glimpses of his hard muscles, tempting abs, his lips, his nakedness even though she had never seen him in his birthday suit.
She gulped when she felt his warm breath tickle her skin and noticed he had bridged the gap between them.
How in hell had he gotten there so fast, she could not tell. Or was it the fact that she was too deep about her naughty thoughts that she failed to notice?
What was worse, was the fact that she had her body pressed behind the couch and himself, giving her no place to run and her only means of escape, a fall on the couch.
"So, what say you? After all, you did chase me away, how do you plan to compensate for hurting me?"
"Y-You are a big boy. Here, you don't get hurt," she chuckled nervously.
"Big boys cry when their heart is broken," his baritone voice sang the song in such a way she felt her juices leak out, recalling when he said 'take all of me.' In her dream.
"Cough. I think Sia sang, big girls, not big boys," Andromeda corrected.
"But I was hurt. So, compensate. I… Want…" He leaned in close to her ear, breathing on it to further taunt the life out of her.
"Y…"
The sound of his ringtone resonated from his pocket, pulling her oyut of his danger zone and his mind back to reality.
A soft frown, edged deep on his forehead as his phone buzzed non-stop in his pocket.
Ignoring it, he pulled his head back, bringing his face closer to hers.
"Umm, your phone." She pressed her lips together, hiding them from his wishful sight.
"I know," he breathed deeply, ensuring he heard him loud and clear.
"It may be important," Andromeda quickly suggested.
"It can wait. They are not God."
"You never can tell."
"Andy, you won't chase me away again."
"I am not." To her dismay, the call went dead and now she was back having the Lion's full attention.
"You were saying?" His gaze flew back on her lips again, causing her to swallow hard.
"I warned you to stop treating this little lady with disrespect and biting hard on her or I won't hesitate to punish you."
GULP!
"Explain yourself," he demanded coldly but his eyes told her he wasn't so mad.
"I-I…."
"You…?" His voice trailed off, waiting for her answer when his phone buzzed once more.
RING! RING!
She breathed out loudly when another call came in on his line and thanked the heavens for sparing her.
His brows knitted in annoyance and reluctantly, he peeled his gaze away briefly as he brought out his cell phone.
Without checking the caller, Liu Xueyi answered it, marking his eyes on hers.
"Xueyi!" A firm cold and domineering voice hollered into the phone, scaring her who had eavesdropped but Liu Xueyi remained unfazed, having his eyes dim a fraction in realization.
"Father."
He took in a deep breath and straightened his spine. Seeing her means of escape, Andromeda took it without a second thought and dashed away from him.
"What news am I seeing online?"
"How would I know what you are seeing when I am not there with you?" Liu Xueyi questioned and placed a hand in his pocket as he turned away.
"Xueyi!"
He knew his father was mad at him. He ever called his name that way when he was angry with him but he too was annoyed.
His father had made his prey escape and stolen his well-cherished and worked hard for a kiss with his Andy.
Speaking of which, he scanned the living room for her and found her standing by the stairway.
"I see you want us to get to the bedroom to continue huh?" He asked, blocking the mouthpiece of his phone before speaking.
Her eyes flew open in shock at his shameless ness before his father.
"Liu Xueyi!"
"Ah, you are less mad now, father."
"Come to my cube now!" Liu Jinchen hollered into the phone.
"Got it, dad. On my way."
Andromeda breathed out loud in relief when she saw him end the call and kept it back in his pocket.
From the seriousness on his face when he half turned, she knew it was very important and he would not joke with such.
Sadly, for her, by the time he looked up at her, now fully turned, his eyes twinkled with mischief wearing his trade mark smirk on his lips.
"As much as I would love to stay and tease you," he winked at her, making her understand what this whole game was for, "I need to be somewhere."
"The Chairman?"
"Yeah."
"I am guessing it is about my scandal?"
"Well, I doubt. Now stop worrying your pretty head and relax. I would see you at work tomorrow."
He turned back and was about to leave when he stopped briefly without sparing her a single glance. "Oh, you owe me another favour."
