CHAPTER 13
The minute Andromeda stepped foot in the office, her eyes landed on the duo who could not restrain themselves as they made out wildly.
Not saying anything since they had not yet noticed her, she immediately took her phone from her bag and took a shot.
Satisfied by the outcome, she kept it back, took some steps towards the side of the office where he had his small mini parlour and cleared her throat.
"Ah!"
Beatrice jolted from his lap and fixed her eyes on Andromeda.
The utter look of shock that registered on their faces when they saw her was too funny but she needed to keep cool. It would have been the perfect picture but knowing Beatrice, she could destroy her phone.
"Andromeda," Wu Bai called out as he adjusted his hard-on before standing up, leaving Beatrice to fix her clothes. "It is not what you think," he tried to coarse her.
Her brows raised in silent questioning. "Not what I think?" Was this guy mad or what?
A deadly smile formed on her lips. "Then you must think me foolish, am I right?"
"No. That is not what I said." He took a step forward as he retreated. "Andromeda, darling why did you do this to me? You abandoned our wedding ad ignored my calls."
"Stop!" She raised her hands in front of her face, preventing him from speaking. "Wu Bai, how much of an idiot do you think I am? You have the guts to say that after everything I just saw?"
"No. Andromeda you should calm down and let him explain," Beatrice chipped in as she stood up.
Her gaze averted to the side where Beatrice stood. "Your lipstick is smeared and your clothes are rumpled. Do I still need an explanation?"
"Andromeda, listen to me. I love you."
"Hahahaa…" a peal of heavy laughter escaped her lips at that moment. "You are delusional. You two are made for each other."
Immediately, the innocent look on Beatrice's face changed as she tugged on Wu Bai's arm. Left to her, she was done hiding it and there was nothing Andromeda could do.
"No need. She would not believe it. Rather than let her do this, why not question her for missing the wedding," she whispered.
"Yes," Wu Bai lifted his head to stare at her with malice in his eyes. "How can after everything I did for you, you had the nerve to stand me up."
"Not only that, thank you very much. I am here to drop this." She opened her bag, getting the document out and waving it at him. "I need you to sign this." She dropped it on the table separating them.
His gaze fell to the documents and then back up to her. "What is this?"
"You have eyes, utilize them."
Before he got the chance to do any of that, "Beatrice picked up the document and read out. "Termination of contract?"
Wu Bai's eyes few open. "What!"
"Yes. I am resigning. In there is a copy of my resignation…"
"Andromeda!" He yelled out he rname, interjecting her words.
"Do yourself and me a favour. Sign those documents. I want nothing to do with you and your company."
"But you cannot."
"I can't? Sorry, I just did."
"But why," he moved closer to the table, taking the documents from Beatrice's hand. "I never wronged you. Andromeda I was good to you. How can you hurt me and my image like this. Where was our love?"
"You should have thought of that before cheating on me with this slut." Her eyes moved to Beatrice, going up and down I utter disgust. "You two can continue but this girl, is out."
Her lips pulled back into a triumphant smile but masked it quickly while her thoughts spiraled. 'Laugh all you want, Beatrice, I would watch you all go down without me. Wait for my revenge.'
The sound of his voice broke he rout of her reverie. "You can't do this. Andromeda. Do not go. Let us speak like matured people. And discuss this thing."
"Wu Bai! Enough with the act already. If you love me, you would not be groping another lady right after your wedding did not hold."
"You cannot blame me. I called you and you… It doesn't matter. We can have the wedding again."
"Thanks, I'll pass. You can speak to my lawyer as regards the termination of contract. I hope we do not have to see concerning this."
"Andromeda, who do you think you are to behave so rudely and poit of place."
"I am no one. That is why he should sign. If you like him, advise him."
"Hmm, good riddance anyway. Bai, you do not have to beg her."
Her cheeks puffed up at the use of his name and she shook her head slightly. 'I was the fool.'
"Andromeda." She ignored him, turned on her heels and walked out fo the room. He had wanted to follow her to lead when he felt a hand pull him back.
"Hey, what do you think you are doing?"
"What do you mean?" Wu Bai retorted.
"Do not tell me you are going to chase after her?" He raised his brows at her and then turned to face her. "Hmm, she is just acting up. Give her a few days, she would come begging you, I promise."
"But…"
"Be happy. Now we do not have to hide our relationship anymore. Your acting was great. I could almost feel you were sincere about it."
Although he beamed a smile at her, deep down, he was scared of the termination of contract.
Before he met Andromeda, his company was surviving. He needed more to help it rise but with Beatrice's designs, one could only hope. That was when she came in and his brand became the top and best.
If she left, he would lose his customers and he could not have that. If his company falls, that would be the end.
"Come, I am still horny and so are you."
