CHAPTER 117

'Although I wonder. Do you hate me?'

Those words she said rang deep in his mind.

There was no way in hell he could hate her. Quiet the contrary and opposite of that if he were to be asked.

He loved her too much and knowing she was the one he was with that night, his heart leapt with joy.

But as much as he wished to tell her that, Liu Xueyi was careful in thinking.

What if before she got to fall in love with him, she hated him for taking advantage of her? What if she left him?

While he was busy with his thoughts, Andromeda's expression changed drastically.

She had expected him to deny hating her quickly, that was if he did not hate her.

Not that she felt clean or anything but he was really the hope she held unto more importantly.

And now she could not tell if he was considering what to tell her or just lie to her.

Whether she was prepared or not, Andromeda could not fathom his next response and it killed her mind so much to not know.

After some seconds of waiting for him to speak and he didn't, she tapped lightly on his arm and lowered her gaze.

"Xueyi."

"Huh?"

His eyes dimmed as his lips parted in confusion. It took him a few seconds to get his mind back to the question she had asked him before he zoned out.

And when he did, he looked at her again. It did not help when she lowered her head.

He felt like knocking some sense into himself for making her feel down.

"Andromeda," Liu Xueyi called out quickly, hoping to stop whatever silly thoughts ran through her mind.

"It's okay if you hate me, Liu Xueyi. I mean I did… I mean my actions, the video, though not…"

She did not want to bring herself to admit it but whether she liked it or not, what that video showed was a girl craving such sexual need and happily loving what the man did to her.

There was no way she was going to deny it.

To her she felt so ashamed of her self and even if it was her boyfriend, having everyone see that, her body and…

A tear slid down her cheeks again from the thought.

Her dignity was gone but now, it seemed her dignity in the eyes of others and the man she had come to cherish was gone too.

"Andromeda," Liu Xueyi called out sweetly again when he noticed the tears.

"Hey, hey, hey. Look at me."

He hooked his fingers underneath her chin and directed her head up, so she could see him properly.

Still Andromeda kept her gaze lowered. When Liu Xueyi coerced her again, she shut her eyes and let the tears she had kept hidden fall out.

"Andy, don't do this," his deep voice broke, letting her see how hurt he was watching her do that.

"Please do not cry. I hate to see you cry," Liu Xueyi pleaded once more. "Please. Look at me baby."

"I'm sorry. I can't," Xueyi watched as more tears flowed down her cheek as she shook her head.

"I just can't. I do not want you to see me like that."

"Like how?"

"What they are saying."

"Oh love. Come here."

He pulled her body to rest on his chest, patting her head gently.

For a moment there, Andromeda sucked up to him and hugged him tight while enjoying the feel of his big hands rubbing down the length of her hair to her back.

"Hey, Andromeda," he exhaled deeply.

"The way I see you would never change. And all I see is a very brilliant, capable, hardworking superb designer who had her talent and shine hidden for so many years."

Her breathing became deeper by each passing second as she listened to his heartbeat through his chest.

"You know, I have always searched for you."

"You did?" She asked more in doubt of the situation.

"Yeah," Liu Xueyi nodded.

"How so?" This time she pulled back to look at him in his eyes.

"Ah finally, you are daring to see me just the way I see you huh?"

A faint blush crept up her cheeks instantly and she averted her gaze away.

"Liu Xueyi. Answer please, where did you search for me and how did you know me before I came to see you?"

"Easy. I searched for a good designer and I was pointed to you." Her eyes latched on his, hoping to catch any sign of him lying but found none.

"Your initials actually. Your insignia. You know, it is really beautiful."

Saying that, Liu Xueyi brought his right hand forward, rubbing the back of his fingers against her cheeks as he spoke.

The warmth and love that exuded from his eyes left her speechless and yearning.

"Thanks."

Her cheeks flushed the more from having such compliment from the one she had come to admire.

"Although, I didn't know who you were and was going to search considering I was told you disappeared, well your designs just went out after you left Paris, but you sent me your designers and I had hope again."

"Yeah. I did disappear."

"Why though?" Liu Xueyi inquired quickly.

"Wu Bai."

This time around she looked up and their eyes met.

Her gaze no longer held that much shyness in them though the touch remained.

Howbeit, what fully enveloped them was the same rage and dominance he once saw in her when she came to meet him.

The very same rage settled in her eyes when she swore to get her revenge at all cost.

"Wu Bai. I met him once when I was in Paris. Then he came to me when I returned and I was shocked. According to him, he made it an accidental meeting and I feel for the lie or I knew but I was too much in pain to bother."

Liu Xueyi nodded at her, giving her his full attention as he watched her rage come to display.

"Tell me all about your past, Andromeda. Starting from your return to the country. I want to know what happened to you."

Although he had confirmed she was the one that day, a part of him wanted to hear the whole story and know how she came to be drugged and alone in that room.

"Exactly all in my past?" She asked.

Honestly, she could tell him anything at this point, but she was skeptical about telling him of that day precisely.

"I want to know it all. What really happened on the said day that video was taking. Tell me everything, please."

At first, she hesitated, wondering in her mind why he was so interested in her past. If he trusted her or not.

Though, when she thought of the possibility of this being the chance to make him see her for who she really was, she did not have any misgivings and readily opened up.

She pulled back into a sitting position to get herself properly settled in for the tale she was about to tell.

"Since I work for you and have made a very great enemy with Wu Bai for you, I suppose telling you is important."
