"You couldn't wait until I've made her mine, could you? I was about to initiate the next step to our kissing!" He smirked wickedly while licking his lips, causing Liu Xueyi's fist to clench tightly to the point his knuckles turned white.
But judging from the look in Liu Xueyi's eyes, something told Andromeda he wasn't done yet, and more pain was about to be unleashed.
"Guess what…. You just signed your death certificate," Liu Xueyi deeply voice out.
As soon as he implied that, he reached for Wu Bai who only chuckled louder like someone who was losing it.
Wasting no time, Liu Xueyi got the son of a b*tch up to his feet and another heavy punch landed at the side of his cheek.
With the speed at which his punch came, Wu Bai could barely react as his back slammed the wall due to the impact of his hit.
He never expected Liu Xueyi to be that powerful and so underestimated an angry Xueyi.
His vision became blurry and his breath hitched, he wasn't given time to recover as when he got punched in the stomach.
Several punches were delivered to him while Andromeda froze like a statue, dumbstruck by the scene before her.
She had witnessed fights before. Xie Tian was good at protecting her when rough boys tried to mess with her but this… It was on a whole new level.
She knew better just how Liu Xueyi got when he was angered but seeing him deliver a blow which sent Wu Bai swirling around before falling to his feet, made her limp body move finally and she reached to hold him back before he ended up committing murder.
"Xueyi, stop! He's infuriating you on purpose, let him go." She held him back with the aim of stopping him.
Liu Xueyi knew he might have gone overboard but f*ck that crap, forcing himself on a woman wasn't only wrong but he went as far as that with Andromeda, that was definitely something he couldn't tolerate.
She was his Andromeda.
The lady he had his eyes set on and a man forcing himself on her, was like one seeking death and being the grim reaper for her, he was willing to dish it all out.
With a deeper voice than what Andromeda was used to, Liu Xueyi's eyes darkened further as he gave his final warning.
"If I see you anywhere near her, or even a mile close to her, I promise that it's going to be the end of you."
"Xueyi," she tugged on his arm, hoping to pull him out of that murder frenzy completely.
Right now, she could not be bothered with Wu Bai, she would deal with his sorry ass for violating the restraining order, but for now, avoiding death was necessary the best.
Tugging more on Liu Xueyi's suit, she reached for his chin. Her hands visibly shook as she fought within her mind to keep steady and pull him towards her.
She succeeded soon enough, bringing his head to face her. Eyes burned with rage. Fury blazed, dancing like they were born to do just that in those dark eyes of his.
The more she stared into them, the more she felt a certain pull drag her to him and she wanted more than anything to hold and cherish him. Cherish this moment and be his shield and wake-up call.
"Xueyi." Her subtle voice echoed in his ears and mind all over again while her small hand caressed his cheek softly.
With one arm still holding his left hand, she lifted her head, pressing her forehead against his. With their closeness, she needn't bother with speaking out loud. Just a small whisper would be alright.
"It's alright, Xueyi. I am fine now. I am safe. Thanks."
His breathing stilled for a moment, meeting his black orbs with her blue ones. One that spoke of pure perfection.
"I have a restraining order against him. Do not worry. I am okay. Now please, come back to me."
Just hearing her confirmation, Liu Xueyi released the breath he was holding in, letting his eyes drop close for a second.
"Okay." By the time he reopened them, no longer was that dread in them and the murderous aura surrounding him dissipated too. "Let's go."
All the while, she left Wu bai to witness their closeness. She wasn't bothered with what was running through his mind at this point. No. He could think all he wished to think about now, it won't matter.
Only her saviour mattered.
Just staring into her beautiful eyes, Liu Xueyi was tempted to kiss those lips and wash away from her memory the uselessness of Wu Bai's lips touching hers.
Sadly, he had to refrain himself from doing such, especially after what she had just gone through.
Putting his thoughts in order, he broke from their closeness first. A cold glance washed over Wu bai when Liu Xueyi's eyes landed on him.
She, however, did not plan on letting it go. "Scumbag," Andromeda uttered in spite.
From where Wu Bai sat on the ground he watched the sweet scene between Andromeda and Liu Xueyi unfold.
His rage was so much he clutched his fist so tight his knuckles paled from it. How dare Liu Xueyi steal from him?
Andromeda was his most prized possession. If not for Liu Xueyi, he would still be at the top and reign supreme.
He could not help but feel jealous and have those wicked envious thoughts running through his mind at the moment.
"Damn you, Liu Xueyi!" he cursed. "I would make you pay a million times over. You think she is gold huh, wait until she exposes her true colours to you. Damn bitch!"
Veins began to pop out at either side of his forehead and the more he cursed, the more pain he felt from having been punched in the gut.
"Urghh!" He winced; his eyes clamping shut from the pain. It felt like his insides were burst open as the pain washed over him.
"Curse you, Starlight Apparel. This is not the end but the beginning."
