Chapter 49: End of Dungeon Trials [1]

Noah's POV:

I have reunited with class A1. But here is the situation—

"GAAH!!" I swung my machete, determined to take down the colossal bee that was trying to give me an unwanted embrace.

But damn, the sucker just wouldn't die.

Just as I prepared for a second strike—????????????!—a neon arrow made a green line in the air and pierced right through the bee.

The dead bee dropped.

I turned to look at the source of the arrow, only for my eyes to met Emily.

She was a vision, bathed in the radiant glow of protective spells cast by the mages around her.

Of course they were protecting her. She was our long-ranged damage dealer.

Her eyes, like precious gems, beautiful art of medallion bright, illumined against the backdrop of the rugged terrain, and her skin...milky smooth.

Yes, I was gawking at her amidst the chaos. I mean what am I suppose to do? Not look at her? Beautiful girls of this world was my only solace to keep me from becoming completely hopeless.

Hey...should I brainwash her into loving me? No, wtf am I thinking?

-"Flaming tornado!"

-"Fire ball!"

-"Fire ball!"

The spells of flames and fires conjured by the other mages only enhanced her radiance, casting a plasmatic canvas.

Just as I was watching her...

?????!—A pesky bee decided to invade my personal space, buzzing in my ear as it shamelessly hugged me.

I frowned in annoyance without bothering to move.

And then, as if they were in the mood for a group hug, a swarm of other other bees joined in, enveloping my head like a cacoon.

Seriously, this was getting annoying...

Screw this nonsense, time to unleash Nano's ability!

[Galvanic taser activated: electric discharge initiating...]

A surge of yellow lightning crackled through every fiber of my being—??????-??????!

I crossed my arms against my chest, and channeled the nanites into my chest, preparing for an electric discharge.

[Charging...]

The damn bees didn't stop with their hugs, flapping their wings in some bizarre dance.

"Get the hell outta there!" Someone exclaimed, his voice muffled by the swarm that blocked my view.

[Charging complete—releasing electric discharge]

"YYYEEEEAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHHHH!" I let out a thunderous roar, extending my crossed arm outward as electricity surged from me, crackling in all directions.

??????????????????????????????????????????!!!

The dungeon was saunat in the blinding flash of yellow galvanic currents; plasma illuminated everything. Plasma bolts branched out of me as if I was a tesla coil and a sonic boom followed suit. The fallen descendents of Beelzebub's bastardized blood fell to my feet along with any bee in close proximity.

Their bodies dropped lifeless to the ground, and yellow leftover remnants of sparks crackled through them—??????-??????!!

"Hmph, hope you fuckers learned your lesson, oh well, dead can't learn shit," I smirked, kicking one dead bee like a football.

But as I lifted my gaze, I realized my mistake.

Everyone—and I mean everyone—was staring at me. Takahashi, Emily, Luke, Nola, James...every single person present in the dungeon had their eyes on me with a perplexed expression.

'Fuck... why did I have to go and act like this again,' I cursed myself in the head.

I almost felt the urge to facepalm myself.

I needed to play it cool to minimize their suspicions. After all there were many electric related skills in the market.

"Huff, damn...that took the breath out of me!" I feigned exhaustion.

"Right, bro? These monsters are damn hard to kill," I added, glancing at a random NPC nearby.

"Y-yea?" The guy gave me a perplexed look, clearly not understanding what I happened.

"That was pretty darn cool. Was that some kind of skill?" James was the first to appraoch me, his scythe smeared with the remains of three bees, resembling a tandoor feast.

"Yes, it's one of the skill in my arsenal," I replied half-heartedly, the excitement starting to fade away.

But I needed to think much on how to bullshit my way out this situation.

Luckily, I didn't had to because in that very moment, a wave of alertness spread through the group.

"Someone's here," Takahashi alerted everyone, his voice laced with caution.

Ah? 'Someone' from another class had made their way into the dungeon?

How truly unfortunate!

It must be class A2. I already knew the outcome of their previous battle thanks to the hacking of the smart bracelets.

Right on cue, two figures entered the scene from the path we just walked past.

One with an Indian appearance, sporting dark brown hair—Karthik.

His confidence radiated as he analyzed us, a katana scabbard hanging by his waist.

The other one— porcelain white skin and long-flowy hair—Myung Joon. He casually carried a mace over his shoulder, his right arm supporting it effortlessly.

Following closely behind them were fourty other students, all armed and prepared for battle.

In stark contrast, we found ourselves with fifty students.

An invisible exchange of words took place as Myung Joon and Takahashi locked eyes, their unspoken language painting a picture of intensity.

'Shit's about to hit the fan.'

Aeravat's Point of View(pov):

Awe in my eyes as I watched the heart-shaped cocoon, which seemed to be made of flesh, pulsating rhythmically with a muffled—??????????!??????????!

It was massive, about the size of a car. The mana pressure coming from inside was (E+) level, more or less likely. No doubt, this was the boss monster.

After navigating through the labyrinth of a dungeon, we finally reached this hollowed-out space, it was almost like a cave; water spraying from the ground, as if it were a perpetual rain shower.

Of course, darkness embraced the area, forcing me to continuously drain my mana to maintain a colossal flame hovering above our heads, providing a flickering source of light.

In my company were Aurora, David, Sophia, and ten other students.

With our combined strength, we should have enough power to take down the boss.

And just like that, the heart-shaped cocoon began pulsating rapidly, as if responding to some unseen cue.

????????????????...—The flesh split open, revealing a monstrous hornet-like creature, easily measuring six feet in length.

"Illuminate!" I commanded a spell, channeling my mana.

Soon a colourless orb was launched from my palm that flew to the air as it started absorbing the surrounding mana on its own and released a radiant ball of light, hovering above in the air like a flashlight.

"Everyone, get ready!"
