Ethan wondered what his sister was thinking when she decided to do that… it was hard to imagine that going all out there would help anyone aside from Dante and Aline. Hannah should know that Ethan didn't want to do such unnecessary things, even Ian was an idiot, but he wanted the same…

Ian looked at Ethan and Emily and just shrugged. The soldiers retreating on that side soon were going to pass by them, and a lot of them were wounded, so they would need some time to recover from their wounds and rest. They had to make up their minds soon…

"Oh well… whatever," Ethan shrugged, and then he took off his Illusion Ring and then summoned his newest sword.

Fatal Sword (Common) (+0)

Attack: 80 – 120

Durability: 150/150

Effects: When causing more than twenty percent of damage of the total of the target's health, you can make them lose fifty points of health for five seconds.

Requirements: 150 STR

The sword had a weird blade, it was shaped like a snake, and it was even longer than Ethan… it probably could hit several enemies at the time, but the shape and the green color made it look like that.

"Oh, a new weapon… it looks pretty nasty," Ian rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"I know, right? I will call this sword: Ian," Ethan nodded as well.

"You are getting more salty day by day," Ian shrugged.

"Will you two shut up and focus on the mission?" Emily asked and then sighed.

pαndα`noν?1--сoМ The soldiers of that area were starting to cross the obstacles that Emily and Aline created, so soon, their turn would come. For a change, Ian stopped smiling and then made two blue daggers appear on his hands. He threw them upward and then spun so fast that Ethan barely saw them. Despite that, he still grabbed them with ease.

"I guess I need to level up my dexterity and speed," Ethan thought.

"Your mission is to prevent the monsters from entering the city. Emily and Aline will focus on getting rid of the monsters underground and offering fire support," Hannah suddenly declared. "Ethan and Dante will defend the right and left side, respectively, and Ian will cover for them and get rid of the enemies that might pass by them… stay focused."

Everyone nodded, and then when the last soldiers passed through the obstacles, Emily and Shyona covered all the holes in the obstacles while Ethan and Dante jumped to beyond them at the same time.

Once they landed, they charged toward the enemies. Although Ethan was weaker than Dante, he let his anger take over his body, and just like Dante, he began to swing his sword widely from one side to the other and pushed the enemies toward all sides while splitting their armor and weapons in two. Ian, Emily, and Aline frowned since it looked like they were copying each other. Still, while they were showing pretty much the same results, Dante looked way more under control while Ethan turned into a beast.

It has been a while, or perhaps not so much that Email and Ian saw Ethan kicking everything around him to completely stop the monsters from advancing… Although hundreds of monsters were on both sides, they actually managed to hold them back by themselves.

"At this rate, I am not going to do anything…" Ian furrowed his eyebrows.

"... Did he fight like that when he was with you during that mission?" Hannah suddenly asked.

"Only for a short while… I suppose you are worried that he can control his issues so well," Ian crossed his arms after replying.

"I am glad that he can do it, but I'd rather prefer that he didn't have any at all," Hannah said after a long sigh. "A group of monsters is coming from the underground toward them… cover for them."

Emily and Aline understood the message and pointed their hands toward those two… they opened a clear path among the enemies' lines, so it was easier for them to see Ethan and Dante. The enemies suddenly appeared behind them, but then several ice spikes emerged from the ground and killed the ghosts.

Emily and Aline looked at each other, clearly annoyed. They didn't like the fact that they used the same spells… Ian shrugged when he saw that. He felt so left out while those four were competing against each other. They also didn't let any enemies approach the city.

"I guess I will just wait until they get tired," Ian shrugged.

The problem with Ian's plan was the fact that they didn't get tired… Dante was fighting with some leeway since the monsters were at a low level if compared to his skill and strength. At the same time, Ethan had the skills and self control to stop rampaging and then use Explosive Impact and push the enemies away when he wanted to use potions. In no time, they reached the back of the enemy's formation and then turned to face the leftovers.

"I guess I will just snipe a few of them with the magic machine gun… hmm?" Ian muttered to himself while he took his weapon and then frowned when he felt something weird in the area.

"It looks like you noticed it…" Hannah suddenly said. "I can't detect them, but it looks like someone else is on the battlefield, and they aren't moving. They are waiting for a chance to attack Ethan… or perhaps Date. He is the most possible candidate since this might create an international incident."

"They might not be so if I noticed them amidst this chaos… Anyway, give me a second and ask the girls to watch those two back," Ian declared, and he completely disappeared from Hannah's radar.

Hannah had some information about Ian, and she knew that he was good at that kind of thing. However, she didn't think that he would vanish while he was still carrying her communication device… his stealth skills could even affect magic technology.
