Chapter 598 Chapter 598:- Lionrock City
"We finally have made it to the Lionrock city." From the Captain's cabin, they could see the Lionrock City in the distance. After almost 3 long days of being away from civilization, they have finally reached their destination.
Although everyone was having fun and enjoying their time on the desert ship being on the ship for almost 3 long days was kind of exhausting. Everyone wanted to go out and explore the city.
The Lionrock City is located in the Central region of the Beast continent. More specifically the City was located in the northern edge of the Central Region.
The travelers who have crossed the second largest desert in the whole world which is The Graveyard of Sand Dunes come to the Lionrock City to restock their supplies and spend a few days resting here. So the Lionrock city's economy mainly relied on travelers. The City's businesses would shut down without any foreign travelers.
Along the edges of the Graveyard of Sand Dunes in the central region, just like Lionrock city, there were many other cities as well. But those cities weren't as big as the Lionrock city. For most travelers, after crossing the Graveyard of Sand Dunes, the Lionrock City was the first place to visit
The Lionrock City is a place that is surrounded by hills. The surroundings of the Lionrock City were much greener. Now that they had stepped out of the desert, the scenery around them was starting to change. They saw more plants and bushes as they traveled towards the Lionrock City.?The Hills around the Lionrock City were covered in grass.
"It seems this city receives more rain than the Savannahclaw City. The Temperature here is much cooler than in the Northern region." Riya said as she stared at the Lionrock city in the distance.
There were many other desert ships traveling to and out of Lionrock City. After all, Lionrock City was one of the major cities of the central region which made this city very busy. On a busy day, every 5 minutes more than 10 desert ships entered and exited the Lionrock City altogether. While during holidays, the number can be slightly lower.
"Lara, are you feeling alright?" Aditya patted Lara's head and asked while looking at her.
Lara nodded head with a smile. Just a few hours back, she had drank Aditya's blood which made her feel energetic and full of stamina. After drinking his blood, she can stay awake for up to 5 to 7 hours before falling asleep.
Sometimes if Aditya was busy then he would let Lara drink his blood once. But if he isn't busy then he let her drink his blood twice a day. After drinking his blood twice, Lara can stay awake for up to 10 to 15 hours before falling asleep.
"Let me know when you're feeling tired. I will carry you." Lara blushed hearing his words. She just lowered her head and nodded her head.
"Lara, just endure this till we find the Dragon glass. Big sister Julia will make you a cure. I promise." Julia said with a smile.
"Thank you, sister Julia."
"It looks like we will need to pay parking fees to park the desert ship out of the city. I will be back." Aditya walked out of the desert ship to talk with the two soldiers who were waving red flags.
Unless Aditya paid the desert ship parking fees, these two soldiers weren't going to let them park the Desert ship. This is why they were standing in front of the desert ship.
Dressed in a simple outfit, Aditya walked out of the desert ship. The two guards exchanged a look before they waited for Aditya to come to them.
This small gesture showed just how much pride and arrogance these two guards held. The guards considered their position to be higher than his. If he was someone of high ranking someone rich or someone from a powerful backing, then these two guards would have run towards Aditya. They wouldn't even have dared to charge any parking fees in the first place if Aditya was from a rich and powerful background.
"How much is the parking fees?" Aditya did not bother with the pleasantries. Since these two guys did not give him any respect then why should he?
"100 gold coins.....!!!!" Hearing this Aditya knew that these two guards just randomly increased the price of parking fees by 10 times or maybe even higher.
"Alright." Seeing the man agreeing too easily, the two guards were taken aback. Both of them looked at each other and thought that they should have added another one or two zeroes.
"100 gold coins per hour." The second guard added quickly seeing that Aditya was taking out money.
Aditya didn't show any reaction. He just nodded and took out the storage ring. He just tossed the storage ring at them not caring if they managed to catch the ring or not. "The amount in the storage ring." Ignoring the two idiots, Aditya returned to the desert ship.
When Aditya returned to the deck of the ship, Lilith was the first to approach him. She was already on the deck of the ship.
"Shall I teach them a lesson?" Lilith didn't look so pleased. She had witnessed the entire interaction between the guards and her man. Seeing the poor attitude of the guards she was very displeased and angry.
The normal Lilith would be giggling all the time and would be teasing Aditya. But this Lilith had a dark Aura around her. She didn't smile. Her eyes were terrifyingly cold.
"Do whatever you want. I won't stop you. Just don't kill any innocent ones." Aditya knew that these two guards along with all other guards who worked here weren't so innocent. Even if Lilith killed them he would not care.
"Hehe!!!! Alright. I will be back." Lilith disappeared from Aditya's view. Even with Aditya's enhanced senses as a cultivator, his ears did not hear any noise from her.

With the little drama over, they were walking on the streets of the Lionrock city in disguise. The Lionrock City didn't look much different from Savannahclaw City. Except for the fact that the city was much more greener. Everything else was the same.
The whole city was a mess. There were shops on both sides of the street. The city was very dirty. There was trash almost everywhere. In some alleys, they even spotted a few dead bodies.?But no one seems to care about the dead bodies. Everyone was just walking past the alleys without even taking a glance at it.
In some alleys, Aditya could even see shit.
"I would really like to meet the City Lord of Lionrock if I have time on my hands." Whoever was the governor of this city, that person was definitely doing a poor job.
"Everything around this city is so disorganized and messy. This city is a place that I wouldn't want to visit a second time. There is no such thing as public order." Alicia commented while looking around.
Comparing the Lionrock City to the capital of the Istarin Empire was like comparing Earth and Heaven. The difference was just too many. Despite being the most populated city of the Istarin Empire, the Azure City did not feel like a crowded city with no room to breathe, but the Lionrock City despite having a population of just over 1 million felt really crowded. The Air in the city was really heavy and was filled with various kinds of smells. There was no such thing as fresh air here.
All of the girls' excitement of coming to a new city had long vanished. They now had a look of disgust. They just wanted to get out of this city as soon as possible. Especially the goddess of Nature, being in a place like this made her feel sick.
"This City is definitely in need of a mass cleaning." Riya said while frowning. If they weren't disguising their real identities, then she would have used her powers to clean the whole city.
"We all agree with you." Even Aditya had a look of disgust just being here.
"Let's find this Elven Priest quickly and get out of here. I don't want to spend a night in such a place." Julia had covered her nose with clothes.
"So how are we going to look for the Elven Priest?" Asked Alicia.
"That's pretty easy!!!!"
"I will use my powers to call some birds. As long as I have the description of the person whom we are looking for, then these birds would be able to find her in this city. We don't need to search for her." The birds were going to look for the person matching Riya's description.
"But for your method to work, we would need an accurate description of what the Elven Priest looks like." Sasha quickly pointed out.
"Well, that's true.....!!!" Riya nodded her head.
"So we just need to figure out what kind of features she has?" Riya nodded her head.
"Then let's ask the people of the Lionrock City. I am sure someone must know Elven Priest."
