Chapter 3486 In A Dream
"Fhfmm~ Hehm~ Fhm~ Hehhm~"
A white-robed woman was lying on a bed with her back facing toward the ceiling. She supported her head with her palms and sweetly hummed while moving her legs back and forth freely, appearing to be in a good mood.
This woman was none other than Tia.
She had entertained her mother, Lia Alstreim, her father, Edgar Alstreim, and her grandfather, Havle Alstreim, for the duration of the banquet, delighted that she could reunite with them so soon. Even after leaving them in a new mansion, where it would be their new home, she was filled with happiness that she couldn't throw away.
She was glad that they were healthier than ever, especially her mother, ever since Davis healed her. Her sickness was completely gone since it didn't reoccur at all.
'Mother and father are good. Hopefully, they can have another child if they miss me. I'm sure sister Claire would wish the same for them. Jade and Ivy's situation is also over as Jade becomes the Matriarch and accesses the inheritance while Ivy is released, appearing here. Big brother would've already given her the Voidslime Realm Eater's Core if I'm not wrong…'
Tia foolishly grinned as she felt everything was going smoothly.
However, she didn't think Ivy would bother making any moves now as she was aware she wouldn't develop feelings until later on in the true immortal world since she didn't have any opportunity to mingle with him in the current world from the storybook.
But since the man hadn't closed his heart and the woman had a chance to meet and talk right now, Tia wondered if something would happen between them.
Last she had seen them, he saw Ivy enter a chamber alone, making her grab a pillow by the side and feel giddy.
Her cheeks began to flush as she wondered if she should make a move on Davis again. However, she saw that he was busy and that she should enter the Immortal Emperor Stage first if she was going to prove to be useful and have more chances of convincing him.
Everything considered, she sighed.
"I guess I shouldn't hope much in the current decade at the very least…"
Tia wryly smiled.
She felt this was fine and intended to sleep since she hadn't slept ever since Davis returned from the Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm. She wasn't necessarily exhausted but felt she should take some rest and refresh herself for tomorrow since it was going to get busier for her with her cultivation.
'I must become as strong as my storybook self as soon as possible…'
Tia inwardly swore and closed her eyes. She drifted off into sleep, but five minutes later, there was a knock on her door.
"Mhm?"
Tia swiftly woke up as though she hadn't even slept yet. Not any cultivator or even an immortal could manage to replicate without having some sense of danger gained through experience.
She got off the bed and walked toward the door.
Her chamber was quite sealed properly in order to ward off negative karma and blocked aura as well in order to support her activities as a Mystic Diviner and the family's Karmic Guardian, so it wasn't until she opened the door to her chamber that she found who it was.
She gasped ever so lightly as she saw Davis standing before the door.
"Big brother…"
Tia blinked.
Wasn't this nighttime? Why was he here instead of being with his women?
'Does he have something important to talk to…?'
"Are you not going to invite me in?"
Davis's voice echoed out with amusement, causing Tia to come out of her reverie before she giggled.
"My chamber is open to big brother anytime."
"I see."
Davis lightly nodded and entered while Tia closed the door and followed after him to the hall. She made him be seated and was going to bring some tea for chat, but he declined and told her to sit.
"What is it, big brother? Surely, you wouldn't visit me if it's not for something important."
Tia asked gently while also hinting at her complaint. She held a suppressed smile, appearing to look forward to the conversation they were going to have.
"Really?" Davis raised one of his brows, "I would visit you anytime you wanted unless I'm busy."
"I'm glad to hear that. If big brother doesn't come, then I will knock on your doors and interrupt you."
Tia placed her elbows on her thighs and rested her face on her palms, staring at him intently.
"Haha," Davis chuckled, "Little lass, you have grown bold."
"Hmph~"
Tia sweetly looked away, "I'm no longer a little lass."
"That's right. You're old enough to know what you're doing, just like you planned the entire thing that allowed Jade Aurora and Ivy Aries to survive. You did a very good job of saving them, and I don't know what else to express other than praise for your foresight. They really were in danger."
"Hehe~ I'm honored."
Tia reclined on the sofa and appeared smug as she folded her hands, "But feel free to praise me more~"
"Well, you made me lose the Voidslime Realm Eater's Core, so all praises are denied."
"Nooooo…"
Tia slumped as she extended her bottom lip out, looking like she was going to cry, which caused Davis to laugh. She saw him laugh at her antics and became fond of him enjoying the time he spent with her, making her want more of it.
She pursed her lips and stood up, walking around the table before she sat by his side and held his arm.
"Big brother, what did Ivy say upon you giving her the Voidslime Realm Eater's Core?"
She naturally asked as though what she just did was normal, causing Davis to blink before he smiled at her.
"Of course, she denied. She's a prideful woman and didn't use her physique the way she should, which is drain all men, so I have plenty of respect for her and forcefully made her accept the Voidslime Realm Eater's Core."
"Big brother is the best!"
Tia held his arm firmly, pushing her bosoms against him without even knowing as she smiled at him excitedly. After all, she was afraid when these two clashed, neither one would be willing to give an inch, but Davis moved in a way that didn't allow Ivy to say no.
She looked at him with a gaze full of approval.
"Tia… you're too close."
Davis lightly spoke, causing Tia to come out of her reverie.
She blinked at his inquisitive expression before a teasing smile filled her face, which was quickly hidden with a puppy-like face.
"But this is the only time I get to be close to big brother~"
Davis chuckled dryly, "You also did something similar when you hugged me from the back."
"…"
Tia blinked, not expecting he would mention it, making her blush lightly.
"Yes, I take my energy from you when I hug you. Your anarchic presence feeds me with all the energy I need to work for the month, no- week, so I will need you to be seated with me next week at the same time and in the same place. Please?"
She quickly made up a reason and looked at him with puppy eyes again.
Davis's lips curled into a wry smile, "Well... if you ask me like that, it can't be helped."
"Yay~"
Tia let his hands go and threw her hands up, appearing delighted.
"In exchange-"
Abruptly, Tia felt herself enveloped in an embrace, her face only inches away from his face as she caught herself gazing at his mesmerizing sapphire eyes. The posture that was caught left her completely vulnerable, making her unable to react as his lips pressed on hers.
"…"
Tia froze, feeling his warmth traverse all over her body from her lips.
"-become my woman."
A soul transmission fell on her mind, full of tenderness and need, causing her mind to tremble and her heart to finally skip a beat.
Davis softly kissed Tia. After a few seconds, he let go of her as she appeared to be unresponsive, making him smile.
"Will you not?"
"…!"
Tia finally came out of her reverie as she shuddered and looked away, her bosoms heaving heavily while her eyes widened and her expression produced an unconcealable smile.
'No way… this is an illusion…!'
