The annihilative yin phoenix was the only one to survive, not because it successfully defended against it but because it was reviving.
However, the continuous shockwaves of strange life energy made it so that the phoenix died before it was fully able to revive.
Everlight knew it wasn't over as she could still feel the presence of the four annihilative yin Paragon Magical Beasts. They were intending to botch her chances to procreate.

She could sense the changes her body was undergoing as she grew rapidly into her Emperor Beast Stage form. It usually marked adulthood for an Immortal Nine Lives Gracious Fox, but to her, it marked the start of her life with her loved one.

Nevertheless, size didn't matter much as Immortal Emperor Beasts could slightly alter their size while Emperor-Tier Beasts could perfectly alter their size.
