Chapter 3257 A Small Trouble
Davis sensed Evelynn's location.
She seemed to be with the children as far as his soul sense could reach within the mansion. She seemed to be with a few others as well, making him wonder if she was scared or if the others made her sit along with the children so he wouldn't get mad easily because of Clara's situation.
The defensive maneuvers they took to hide her truly made him feel warmth. After all, in a harem, most women would want to see the others suffer, especially if it was the first wife, the true Empress.
However, he wondered if he should act all offended and tease them. That would be a scene he wished to see as well, but considering that Evelynn was pregnant, he voted against it.
Walking in the hallways, he was halfway to the destination when he was suddenly intercepted by a dark ghost.

Mingzhi bit her lips as she pulled on his ear, causing Davis to chuckle.

Davis knew Mingzhi was getting jealous as she didn't want him to have more women, at least not without a good reason. He respected her wishes and would listen to her as he was already satisfied, but the two Celestial Fairies were lovable, precious, and quite the dream of any man, making him find it pitiable if he were to not accept them.
"Fine, but you need to spend more time with me." She demanded with upturned eyes.
When he turned to look at her, he saw she had a big, needy pout, causing him to lift her up.
"Then shall we go make love now?"
Mingzhi's cheeks burned from being princess carried, but she harrumphed, pecked his lips, and spun away from his hold, landing on the ground.
"First, go see big sister Evelynn, soothe her in whatever way possible, and leave that spirit child you brought somewhere else. She already burned down a mansion in our land and has alerted a few Guardians with her Immortal Emperor undulations, although Lea pleaded to the Void Dust Empress that she got the situation under control. Then you can come to see me, ravage me~"
She grinned before disappearing from his gaze, appearing to have concealed herself with Darkness Laws. The funny thing was he could still sense her location, but he stretched his body and clenched his fists, yawning with a huge smile.
"Gosh, I can't wait."
He said with eagerness but chuckled in danger.
Calypsea being a menace didn't change. The materials here weren't able to endure her heat, and unless Calypsea could fully control her flames, he could see himself playing fire truck simulator here, going around to snuff out the flames. Nonetheless, since the situation hadn't gone out of control, he knew Calypsea absorbed back the flames, so he should have some time to get her out before the problem becomes bigger.
Moreover, this visitation perk was only for a week, so leaving wasn't an issue.
He proceeded to walk ahead, turning numerous corners before finally arriving in Niera's room.
It seemed like half of the family was gathered here, causing Davis to inwardly chuckle before he stepped into the well-decorated room.
"Ah~ My Emperor, you're back!"
"Is Clara and Tia well?"
Isabella and Shirley stepped forward with worried expressions on their faces.
He didn't know if they received information or not already but nodded his head.
"Everything is fine at the moment. Tia is awake and doing good while Clara has regained her self, although she's still sleeping."
The worried expressions of the ladies receded, replaced with relieved faces.
"When you return, everything is resolved."
"That's our man."
Isabella and Shirley stated with pride before Shirley stepped forward.
"Davis, I took care of Mistress Flamerose and Mistress Frostrose. They have successfully stepped into King-Tier, becoming Queens of their species, but-"
"But what?"
Shirley paused, causing Davis to ask.
"They weren't able to become Immortal Emperor Beasts. From this, it could be seen that they are also Candidates."
"Oh?"
Davis reacted with some surprise. However, he didn't think that this was strange, considering the Candidates were limited to the Immortal King Stage until the Candidacy ended. It made sense, as every other Candidate was also stuck in the Immortal King level.

She lowered her head as though confessing a wrong, her voice seething with guilt.
