"Most likely…"
He gestured at Fairy Thunderblaze, appearing contemplative.
"… but if she could escape, that means you prisoners are restricted in one way or another. What he had seen was just a spot, so he couldn't be too sure about what kind of restrictions these dangerous beings were truly constricted with.
"Did you have to go provoke them into hunting you seriously?"
Davis turned to look at Fairy Thunderblaze and looked at him with an exasperated expression, causing him to blink.
"Now that I got to look at your face again from this close, you're truly beautiful."
Fairy Thunderblaze's eyes narrowed, "Don't patronize me."
She knew how miserable she looked right now with her bloodied figure and torn robe, so for him to say that she looked beautiful right now came off as nothing more than schadenfreude.

It was like she fully trusted him to come back, causing their hearts to stop wavering as they recalled his true prowess- no, his true speed that was at the realm of Late Stage Immortal Emperor already before he got his Tempestuous Firestorm Obliteration Physique, perhaps even exceeding it.
