Chapter 3177 To The Fourth Floor

With Fairy Aila Cherryweave's confession, Davis once again couldn't help but take a look at her figure.

She was petite, possessing a delicate, youthful presence, her stature dainty, and her pink hair cascading down in a sea of soft, rosy strands, forming gentle undulations around her visage. Her eyes, shaped like almonds, held a captivating, otherworldly hue of amethyst, resembling the enchanting depths of a twilight sky. Her attire was a striking ensemble, a vibrant canvas of red silk adorned with meticulous cherry blossom patterns.

Completing her look was a charming hairpiece adorned with delicate silk flowers, harmoniously mirroring a painting of a true Celestial Fairy.

Still, one could mistake her for a fifteen-year-old as her height was no more than five feet, but her perky bosoms that could rival Isabella's or even Evelynn's said that she was fully an adult.

Davis had no doubt this woman was a certified loli, but he also knew that humans would never be this short when they're an adult because the human race's DNA had been almost perfected by the heaven and earth energy, allowing people to be born without physical defects all the time unless they're affected by cultivation deviation or fetal injuries, much less be born without biological aesthetics that would help them get mates.

A female's height was normally five-six to five-eleven, while for males, it was five-eight to six one.

His experience and the many books he read confirmed this notion.

Therefore, any human out of this height range usually meant that they had defects, special physiques, or were fey, which he figured that Fairy Aila Cherryweave was the latter.

However, he didn't know what kind of fey she was, and that information seemed to be under wraps. Perhaps she used her fey blood to overpower the second challenge and appear here? He didn't know.

While he was thinking all this, Sophie stepped forward, facing Fairy Aila Cherryweave.

"If you want to be one of us, you would have to prove your loyalty, but if you just want to follow us, feel free to tag along, as losing you is like losing a realm treasure."

"Thank you for the compliment~ I will work hard in order to be acknowledged."

'She's serious…'

Sophie's brows twitched as she saw Fairy Aila Cherryweave smile brightly over being given a chance.

'Oh my, she's like a little sister…'

Lea and the hearts of the others skipped a beat. She was too cute, naturally inducing the need to protect her, and to Davis, there was no need to say anything as he was inclined to protect such small and cute creatures if he had time like he would protect a kitten.

She was too cute to be abandoned.

'The power of cuteness is unfair…'

Davis inwardly lampooned before he cupped his hands towards her.

"The charm of a Celestial Fairy is too much temptation for me. If you're sure you want to trouble your Cherryweave Family and the Crimson Sangreal Alliance, you can indeed tag along. However, I would appreciate it if you could maintain some distance from me."

"W-Why?"

Fairy Aila Cherryweave's amethyst eyes trembled.

Was he rejecting her?

However, Davis smilingly shook his head and headed towards the Killing Formation.

Fairy Aila Cherryweave remained standing as she watched him leave. However, a hand patted her shoulder, sending her a soul transmission.

"He's saying that he will eat you up if you're not careful and that it's best for you to stay away if you're not fully determined, as this isn't a matter that can be won through with determination alone. You will have to make sacrifices."

Sophie instructed and left before Lea also placed her hand on her arm.

"Family is everything, and you're from a big family, a big alliance. So if you want to be with us, the other choice you have to make is clear, as your people wouldn't accept us."

"Don't take it personally. You're gorgeous, but we're from different worlds. Carefully think it through before you make any decision."

Tina also patted Fairy Aila Cherryweave, feeling some fondness as they had the same eye color.

Nonetheless, after cheering Fairy Aila Cherryweave, they walked towards the Killing Formation together while she remained standing.

Fairy Aila Cherryweave seemed a bit dazed.

She had to abandon her family?

Of course, she knew of this, and her heart sank to even think about it as she had so many people who were good to her. To abandon her father and mother? To abandon her siblings and those who took care of her and imparted so many things in her life? Could she do it?

She knew she would have to do something about it, but instead of severing ties, she had the idea that she could somehow convince her power as she was a Celestial Fairy who was doted on like she was the only child in the entire family.

Would they not listen to her? She thought they would if she was adamant.

But now, she was faced with the reality where she might have to make a cruel decision to either sever the affection she placed on a man or to sever familial ties she had.

Fairy Aila Cherryweave's eyes teared up as she bit her lips, turning to look towards them.

However, her heart was also filled with warmth as she saw his women advise her like they were her elder siblings. They didn't wish her harm or fool her to take advantage of her, causing her to highly respect them. Wiping the tears that had yet to fall from her eyes, she took a step forward and followed them, arriving at the edge of the Killing Formation.

However, after the edge was a vast empty space where the surface couldn't even be seen. It was completely dark, like an abyss.

"Don't bother. Unless you're as strong as my brother or an expert in formations, you do not want to pass through this Killing Formation, as it has already claimed the lives of a few Kingly Monarchs."

Davis's eyes widened as he turned to look at Ralaza Heavenshade. He was a bit shocked by her statement of Kingly Monarchs dying here, but he was even more intrigued and amused by the other.

"I'm not as strong as your brother?"

She couldn't perceive his strength when he unleashed it against the three brothers of the Hexadra Clan?

'Oh yeah, right… chaotic energy is difficult to even perceive…'

Davis remembered, knowing that these people, heavenly geniuses, hadn't even guessed that it was chaotic energy, but Ralaza Heavenshade revealed a proud smile behind her veil.

"Trust me. He's not someone whom you would want to fight, and even if you can win, it would not be without losing half your limbs. Moreover, there are two Empyreal Monarchs in my clan, so it is better for you to conserve your strength and watch out for the two Empyreal Monarchs from the Hexadra Clan instead, as they would absolutely come for revenge."

"Thanks for the warning."

Davis brightly smiled at the little sister who had an elder brother she prided in before returning his gaze and taking a step forward into the air as though he was going to jump into the bottomless pit.

"Are you serious?" Ralaza Heavenshade gawked before she looked away, "Don't blame me if my brother or the other one attacks you as they are not as reasonable as me, and you end up dying to them or the Hexadra Clan."

"Don't worry. I'll make sure to spare your brother as long as he doesn't go overboard."

"You-"

Ralaza Heavenshade just pointed at him when her pupils froze.

There was still Davis and people in front of her. However, the environment was no longer the same. In fact, she was outside, her hand pointing towards the valley leading the way out. She trembled, turning to look at the others as she sensed multiple auras of Empyreal Monarch explode at the same time.

"Curses! Who has the pill!?"

A crimson-azure-robed man yelled out in rage as he dashed towards a black-robed man and smashed his fist towards the air, but space reverberated, scrunching into a fist as it also struck the crimson-azure-robed man's fist, causing a deadly shockwave to flush out and send everyone flying. Even the Kingly Monarchs seemed unable to deflect this sudden shockwave, causing them to retreat.

Davis narrowed his brows as he raised a barrier over his people, deflecting the shockwave that threatened to kill even Immortal Kings with a prowess of six levels. However, there was a pressing matter that warranted his absolute attention.

The Celestial Luminescence Pill has been taken.
