Chapter 3174 Hexadra Clan's Three Brothers

*Bzzz~*

Flesh and blood of the sliced and diced Six-Headed Hydra Fey trembled and abruptly shot toward each other. They smashed together and mingled like worms, quickly regenerating into a full-fledged humanoid shape before his features became more and more like a human's before he was back in shape.

His lips curled into a grin, "So this is death energy? It's nothing special… ahaha~"

He laughed out in a mocking tone, causing Davis to blink.

"You didn't die?"

Considering that it was Yama's death energy that wasn't up to par, he really wasn't surprised, but he still felt like he killed him with that one move that contained the essence of the scythe he practiced.

Wasn't that enough?

"You killed one of my souls, alright, but who's going to kill the other five?"

Fury could be seen on his face, but he still smiled, enjoying watching Davis's skin corrode bit by bit.

"You have a strong body, but it's nothing in front of our dark, corrosive water." He shook his head, his eyes full of expectation.

"It's like you have six lives, even more ridiculous than the phoenix's resurrection."

Davis shook his head in response. However, a melodious voice resounded.

"A phoenix fully recovers its health and energy upon resurrection, but the hydra doesn't do so. In fact, each of their souls is protected by the other, so in terms of defense, it's even stronger than the body, but their souls determine their energy capacity, so the more souls you take down, the lesser their energy capacity becomes before they finally die when you take out their final soul."

Myria spoke as she made Davis understand but also garnered attention from all the people present.

"A beauty undeserving of him. Why don't you come with me? I'll make sure to treat you like my queen."

"First brother, are you serious?"

The third brother asked while the second brother also looked dumbfounded at their third brother.

"Can't you sense her aura that is full of grace and life? I have seen someone like her before, a Saintess."

"What!?"

The young heavenly geniuses turned shocked, but only Ralaza turned to look at Davis as she also knew that he was a Saint somehow. However, he also possessed death energy and was an Anarchic Divergent, which made it so the fact that he was a Saint wasn't acknowledgeable at all.

He was a shocking existence but, in the end, still an Anarchic Divergent.

Amidst the shock, Davis frowned within the water prison.

He didn't want Myria to be recognized here, although he guessed the universe may have forgotten her. Still, these heavenly geniuses were not to be underestimated as they could be privy to some ancient legends, but he doubted if they would know about Myria, considering that even Aric Stormsong didn't recognize her. After all, he was from a family that hunts Fiends and Divergents to increase their reputation and honor.

*Bang!~*

The water prison exploded, causing the three brothers to become alarmed as they flinched their heads towards him. They saw his drenched silhouette, but contrary to their expectations, his skin, which seemed like it was corroding, didn't even appear like it was harmed. In fact, it was encased by a grayish-silver energy at this moment, glowing in an otherworldly light.

"Congratulations, you made me use my martial immortal energy. The dark water of yours is capable of casting immense pressure like a dragon's yet also corrosive like a poisonous swamp. Even the attacks thrown inside are reduced to ninety percent of their strength from the endless regenerative property of the water, finally not even making a tremor within but only a ripple. With the transcendent cultivation method able to make use of all three cultivation systems at once, its intricacies go beyond the prowess of the energy itself, making it difficult to break."

Davis almost had the intent to clap if it weren't for the nefarious deeds these men were engaged in. The heavens had blessed them with such a powerful, endless water attribute that made their water increase in density multiple times and break all kinds of attacks with their corrosiveness, but he knew they likely used this power to force everyone into their bidding, becoming true evil cultivators in the process, making him wonder if all Six-Headed Hydras were like this since their Upper Realm was said to be a lawless land.

"How… did you break it?"

The first brother looked at Davis as he questioned in a solemn tone.

There was no way this feat was done by using only Body Tempering Cultivation's energy. Otherwise, this would mean that this man broke their infamous water prison using his martial energy alone, which is impossible, considering not even an Azure Dragon at the same level would be able to leave unscathed after getting caught in their treacherous attack, much less this human who displayed no signs of immortal beast blood aura.

However, as the grayish-silver light surrounding his body became more apparent, their gazes shook as they sensed a stifled explosive might slowly brewing within it.

"Wha-what is that?" sounded Ralaza Heavenshade as her gaze shook.

He didn't use that energy with her but still managed to take her down!?

Davis clenched his fists, causing an invisible ripple to spread across space. Their hearts pounded as they suddenly felt locked in space, becoming unable to move. Only their pupils reflected the figure of a purple-robed man pulling back his fist and throwing it towards one of them.

"Try surviving this…"

Davis uttered as he let his arm loose and unleashed a devastating fist toward the second brother, who was floating close to him.

*Booom!~*

A grayish-silver viscous energy shot in a straight line and engulfed the second brother in its overwhelming might before crashing to the ground, causing the surface to explode.

"…!"

This scene left everyone horrified as this was a feat only the Azure Dragon Upper Realm's Empyreal Monarch had done. However, the scale of the destruction couldn't even be compared as they saw a crater form as wide as twelve meters compared to the few inches of ground destroyed by the Heavenshade Clan's Empyreal Monarch.

When the light of this attack disappeared, there was nothing left, not even a trace of a body.

"First brother! Third brother! Save me!"

But suddenly, a wisp of purple light suddenly shot towards the two Hexadras, causing them to instantly catch him and dash towards the Killing Formation in an attempt to escape.

Davis was shocked as he saw their second brother still survive after taking on his ridiculous attack upfront, perhaps even right after his face. He was sure that he unleashed a move that was as high as ten levels higher, perhaps at the mid-level. There was no way a Kingly Monarch would be able to survive this kind of strength, but a hydra survived it.

He felt like these were almost like cockroaches, able to survive in any dire situation, but little did he know this one move killed all remaining four souls, leaving him with only one, which terrified the second brother to no end that he screamed out for help while the first and third brother understood the implications just from that attack and decided to test their chances in the killing formation.

*Whoosh~*

"Where are you going?"

Suddenly, Myria appeared between their escape route, causing the first brother who proposed to her to clench his teeth.

"Bitch, you're courting death!"

An enormous amount of soul force burst forth like a tidal wave, quickly turning into a giant ice wall that caused the Hexadra Clan disciples' eyes to twitch as they knew they wouldn't be able to easily break an ice wall at this level. The icy wall was like a towering mountain, making them stop in their tracks.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Abruptly, the first brother felt a hand grab his shoulder, causing him to quickly flail like a snake and dash away to the side. However, he belatedly noticed that his left arm was no longer attached to his shoulder and, instead, was in the Anarchic Divergent's hand.

"Not only did you leave your arm, but you also left your brother. What a pity…"

"No! Spare me!"

Davis took the second brother's soul from the hand he had just torn apart, grasping him into his palm as though he was going to crush him into oblivion.
