A white-robed man with a scholarly appearance stood in the air. He took a step forward and shuttled across the air, appearing beside Isabella in a flash.

"…!"

Isabella was shocked to see this person as she had only heard of him from Davis and Ellia's account.

The person beside her was none other than the Guardian of the Administration Department, Ryheris Yilan.

She couldn't believe that a Guardian was here! However, little did she know that the Guardians had already exited from their seclusion and were currently on guard due to the past events concerning the outsiders. Therefore, one of their appearances shouldn't be much of a surprise.

Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion's expression turned cold. The moment this person appeared, his offensive technique cast on Isabella was completely nullified.

"Impossible, you nullified my Malediction Laws using Light Laws? Is your light attribute one of purification?" He asked with his eyes narrowed.

Guardian Ryheris Yilan let out a light smile, "Malediction Laws? Junior disciple Davis did say there exists a 'bastard' who uses Malediction Laws, so it's you. However, you're wrong about my properties of Light Laws. My soul force is a bit… dense, you see."

*Bzzzz!~*

Abruptly, oppressive undulations emerged from Guardian Ryheris Yilan as his soul force fell on Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion, causing the latter to be shocked as he felt completely restricted.

This was absolute oppression stemming from the difference in the quality of their souls, causing him to become shocked.

"This sensation… I see." Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion's eyes flashed, "Despite being a Level Nine Immortal Emperor, you radiate oppressive undulations that are equal to my level at the Level Six Immortal Emperor Stage yet still manage to purify my technique. If I'm not wrong, you possess the Soul Tyrant Physique that widens your soul sea, improves the quality of soul essence, and increases the quantity of soul force by five hundred percent more than an average cultivator at the same level. No wonder…"

He was a bit taken aback. The sheer density of the soul force was such that it was comparable to five equally powerful soul cultivators who could perfectly combine each other's prowess.

Guardian Ryheris Yilan's eyes widened lightly.

He felt that this person was definitely knowledgeable, but his eyes remained indifferent, appearing like he was about to kill him with a wave of his hand, but Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion let out a sly smile.

"It's good that there's someone to save you here, but what about your father-in-law, Isabella? Don't tell me you're going to abandon him with me?"

"Wait!"

Guardian Ryheris Yilan's hand had already reached out, appearing as though Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion would disappear with just a single wave of his hand. However, Isabella raised her hands and yelled out, stopping Guardian Ryheris Yilan from making a move.

"Young disciple, are you sure you want to negotiate with this man? He seems evil and dangerous."

Guardian Ryheris Yilan asked, causing Isabella's expression to reel. However, she took a moment to retrieve herself before she looked at Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion in the eye.

"What do you want? Let go of my father-in-law right now."

"Then you should come with me or face death to let him know that we're not playing here when he's back with my fairy. I thought I made that clear?"

"…"

Looking at that disgusting smirk, Isabella's body shook. She closed her eyes, remembering her life with Davis so far. It wasn't long, but it wasn't short either. They went through adventures together and shared life and death together at a few points, causing her to also remember the first time he boldly sat in front of her and confessed his love and desire for her.

Those were endearing times.

He always kept a smile on his face for them regardless of the dangers they were facing, allowing her to feel secure. When he was playing with Celestia, there had never been a time she was showered with as much joy, but this time around, she could only feel a cold chill.

He wasn't beside her. He was not beside them, and they were at a stage of falling already, causing her lips to curl into a wry smile.

'My Emperor… forgive me…'

She opened her eyes, a steely determination flashing with a crimson-gold light of the Emperor-Tier Earth Dragon through her black pupils.

"You want Myria in exchange, right?"

"Of course." Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion nodded his head, his eyes burning with excitement before anger seeped through, "She's my fairy, yet you people have the audacity to trap her and make her believe you're all more welcoming than me?"

"What did you say? He wants junior disciple Myria?"

Abruptly, Guardian Ryheris Yilan frowned as he turned to look at Isabella and asked.

Isabella didn't answer. She remained silent, causing Guardian Ryheris Yilan to narrow his eyes at her before he turned and waved his hand.

Suddenly, a dazzling light burst forth from the sky, descending like a heavenly comet toward Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion. The light was pristine and ethereal, carrying an aura of pure brilliance and harboring an immense power within that shocked the latter as he knew this attack was completely unleashed at the Level Nine Immortal Emperor Stage.

"You dare-!"

As the radiant energy engulfed him, Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion's furious expression wavered, replaced by a brief look of shock and pain. The light wrapped around him, searing his robes and body with its intensity, and for a moment, he seemed to struggle against its overwhelming force. But then, he suddenly felt lighter and lighter before his perception turned darker than black.

"No one should dare target the Saintess's disciple nor the next Saintess."

"…"

Isabella saw Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion disappear from the place as though he was an evil curse that was purified. She was shocked over the amount of soul force that shredded him apart, allowing her to differentiate that Guardian Ryheris Yilan's soul force was worlds apart from Davis's soul force in terms of capacity and flow.

It was like a sea compared to a river, incomparable and undefendable unless someone was stronger than Guardian Ryheris Yilan by one or two levels in prowess to make up for the quantity.

Nonetheless, more than the shock, deep regret swelled in her heart.

*Whoosh!~* *Whoosh!~* *Whoosh!~*

At this moment, Lereza, Ellia, Evelynn, and Clara arrived on the scene as they hurriedly beside Isabella.

"Third sister…"

Evelynn hurriedly came forward to Isabella and cupped her arms, "Are you fine? Are you cursed?"

Her senses hurriedly tried to find anomalies in Isabella's body and soul sea, but she couldn't find any as she was still Immortal due to being pregnant. However, Lereza shook her head, causing Evelynn to heave a sigh of relief.

"I apologize for taking away the opportunity for the hostage exchange, but I cannot let Saintess's disciple encounter any kind of danger. I do not regret taking action."

Guardian Ryheris Yilan spoke as he cupped his hands towards them, turning around to leave.

"I made Guardian kill him."

He turned a bit speechless, not expecting this woman to have manipulated him into defeating her enemy.

"Big sis…" Isabella's eyes wavered, "I… I abandoned father-in-law…"

"It's fine… it's fine…"

Evelynn closed on her and positioned her own forehead over hers as she held her in an embrace, "It's not your fault… we're too weak to save father-in-law…."

"…"

Tears emerged from Isabella's eyes and ran down her face.

Tanya looked away while Clara's gaze shook, her hands severely trembling as she turned to look into the distance. Without even realizing it, she started to fly away, only to be stopped by Lereza as the latter held her shoulder and affixed her in place.

"Let go…! I must go!"

Clara's eyes flashed purple, but it had no effect on Lereza. She clenched her teeth, struggling to escape the bind but unable to do so, she reached out her hand, her voice resounding across the mountain region in the moonlit night sky.

"Father!"
