"Master... Lereza put a memory seal on me..."
Nadia's voice resounded out with helplessness, causing Davis's expression to sink.
"Lereza, you!"
Davis's soul body instantly appeared in the Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Soul Palace as he pointed right at her face.
Lereza trembled as she looked at his irate face. She was sitting on her cloud, harrumphing.
"If my lady wishes it to be like this, then I will repay. Kill me if you want, but I will not release it!"

Davis was about to unleash a storm on her as his undulations forced her down. Within the Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace, he was the absolute ruler!
However, as she crashed down from her cloud, he saw her eyes start tearing up. The moment she hit the ground, she squealed while daring to match gazes as tears flowed down her eyes, allowing him to abruptly remember that she was still a stubborn teenager.
His expression churned. A teenager or not... this was an action that he didn't appreciate.
"Why would you do this? You are betraying me..." He groaned with some hurt in his voice.
"No... I..."
Lereza's gaze shook.
She had only repaid the debt she had towards Myria, but she didn't think she was betraying Davis as there was no harm done. However, she couldn't deny that she did something unfavorable to them when they trusted her to be with them.
Where did her loyalty lie?
Was she a backstabber? Is that who she truly was?
Abruptly, tears started flowing like a waterfall as something snapped in her mind.
"I... I..."
Sniffling as tears and snot covered her face, she knelt on the floor on all fours and smashed her face to the ground, causing the floor to cave a bit.
"Master, this spirit has committed an unforgivable crime. Deal with me as you please!"
She squealed as she tried to hold back her tears.
Davis reeled back, suddenly not knowing what to do.
Maybe he went far with his words? What did Myria exactly seal in him? What had they talked about?
Without knowing, there was no way he could judge if Lereza had betrayed him or not, but the action she took, sealing Nadia's memories during the time he himself had his memory sealed, felt like an indisputable betrayal to him.
Yet, this kid realized her mistakes and was crying, not asking for forgiveness but begging him to punish her.
Clenching his teeth, he looked away.
"I'll delay your punishment because you saved me from Venerable Warrior Zermatt."
Lereza didn't say anything, still sniffling as she kept kneeling and trembled.
"Undo the memory seal on Nadia." Davis further ordered.
However, Lereza continued to be unresponsive, causing his gaze to flicker.
"I see your loyalty lies with Myria. It's good for you that I love her, which still makes us family. Otherwise, I would've killed you by now."
"...!"
Lereza shuddered like anything.
'I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry...'
It was unknown how many times she repeated that in her head while staying silent, tears filling the crack she smashed with her head.
"Leave if you do not wish to be here. I have no place for betrayers in my home."
Davis's chest heaved with hard feelings before he turned around and disappeared, leaving her shuddering violently. His eyes opened in the real world as he reappeared and checked his body, soul, and things.
He found out that Myria didn't steal Fallen Heaven. Didn't take away anything from his spatial ring. Didn't harm his soul or do anything of concern other than sealing his recent memories after coming out of the meeting.
He found the seal alright, which was like glass not only in appearance but also in its durability.
Davis became confused.
Despite Myria's prowess, she left him a weak seal?
Breaking it would easily reveal the contents of what happened here, but she tied her true soul essence to it.
True soul essence meant that it contained the three spiritual souls, at least one of them at the very least. Harming it would mean harming the very essence of the soul. Not even the reincarnation cycle is capable of recovering it as far as he knew.
On the other hand, not anyone is capable of taking out their true soul, but for Myria, he knew that it was something she could easily achieve. But by binding it to this memory seal-

Lereza was bawling her eyes out. Nadia was sorry for being useless that his soul body was currently consoling her, and he didn't know what the fuck happened with Myria!

He didn't even know if it was the former or the latter, but knowing Myria, how could it be the latter!?
Instantly, he chose to contact Fallen Heaven.

Its raspy voice fell into his mind, causing him to reply.
"Ye-" However, he suddenly stopped as he thought about it.
Why would Myria seal his memories? Was it because she told him something important but regretted it and wanted him to forget?
'Like her past...?' He wondered if it was that or something else.
"I'm saddened that girl doesn't trust me, but that's fine." Fallen Heaven's voice turned low, "I comprehend that I'm the true harbinger of calamity, so I understand and think it's fair."
Davis narrowed his brows.
"What are you saying? I trust you."
"Is that so? Are you telling me that you can trust my words when it concerns her? According to you two, am I not the one manipulating you two into killing each other?"
"..."
Even Fallen Heaven was behaving like it was hurt? What the fuck was going on?
He just had a delightful meeting with the Guardians and Saintess Lunaria approving of his decision, allowing him to keep his family safe here and look forward to the treasures he was going to hunt after spending some time with his family, but he didn't expect to get hit with this kind of interruption.
"Hsss~"
Taking in a deep breath, Davis tried to calm himself down.
"Just say it. I will make the decision whether to believe those words or not."
