Every disciple in the flying boat scrambled out of their quarters as soon as they heard an announcement blaring outside their quarters. However, since they couldn't hear it, one could tell the rooms were soundproof, causing many disciples to warn their fellow disciples as they knocked on many doors.

[Warning, brace for impact. Intruders are blocking the flight path.]

The ship kept playing in a female voice as though this flying boat had a voice transmission formation or a construct spirit.

The disciples all rushed out with nervousness displayed in their movements and excitement unveiled through their expressions as they followed the long pathway and appeared on the deck of the ship that was covered underneath a massive dome-like structure. f(r)eewebn(o)vel.com

In Davis's eyes, this space appeared like the sundeck of a spaceship, but his gaze was not on the marvelousness of the ship but on sight beyond the deck where two black-robed individuals blocked their path.

They appeared minuscule in front of the giant flying boat. However, the aura they unleashed was anything but minuscule, causing trees and rivers below to billow and change directions violently. Even magical beasts living in these regions were blown away like ants.

The flying boat they were in gradually came to a stop, causing slight tremors to shake them. Despite the sudden stoppage of the giant flying boat, it seemed like there wasn't much damage done to the people, nor were there any attacks cast on them.

Being inside an Immortal Emperor Grade Construct didn't mean that someone was safe. If it was attacked and badly rocked, the people inside had the chance of flying and crashing into the wall, which would more or less gravely injure them, sometimes even causing death. After all, the hull was made up of Immortal Emperor Grade ore. It was like a mortal crashing straight into a mountain of steel.

This was especially the case when the construct was moving and was not stable and fixed at a location like a palace.

Davis noticed these details as he confirmed the safety of his people. He had also brought Mystic Diviner Hailac, who was still unconscious, along with him, storing her in his life ring. He didn't know where exactly to place her as things were going to get dicier.

"True Disciple Myria of the Aurora Cloud Gate, step out and come to us along with our Young Master's lifeless body that you are responsible for. As long as you comply, we will leave peacefully."

In the distance, one of the Immortal Emperors spoke with a calm yet seething tone of a man that appeared as though it was about to erupt if Myria was non-complying. freewe(b)novel.com

Davis's eyes narrowed at those two individuals with a hint of anger.

These two individuals were a black-robed man and a black-robed woman. The man possessed black hair, black eyes, and a grim countenance, while the woman had light-blue hair with a black-haired ponytail and dark-colored eyes. Both of them were wearing a deep black robes with a golden pattern that made their garments appear as though they were adorned in the armor of some ancient empire.

From this, Davis could infer that the Godwin Family treated themselves as an imperial bloodline even though they had followed the traditions of a family structure.

Myria's eyes were squinted as well. However, before she could say anything, a manly voice boomed out.

"The Aurora Cloud Gate declines such a request. Forget about achieving anything here. Your only choice is to leave now, or else you're courting death."

Two figures stepped out of the flying boat, wearing a brown robe and a white robe. They were none other than Elder Earthsaber and Elder Whitejoy, the former's voice echoing in a languid tone although his words were full of authority.

Hearing these arrogant words, the black-robed man's calm expression turned into a frown, further causing him to stretch out his hand toward the side.

"So be it."

Instantly, a binding force stretched to the horizons, and space within a hundred-kilometer radius became locked. No matter who tried to move in this space, they found themselves becoming stuck in position, unable to move except the people who were still inside the flying boat belonging to the Aurora Cloud Gate.

"Break."

Elder Earthsaber languidly took out his saber from his back and slashed forwards, causing a rumble to echo.

Within a second, the spatial lock placed on the area shattered. It was destroyed.

"…"

Davis and the others watched this scene with wide eyes. It was just that they didn't even know what happened as they couldn't feel their auras much within the construct that was protecting them. However, they could tell that something enormous had started and ended in an instant when they saw the black-robed man in the distance had his eyes go wide.

"I presume you must be Elder Earthsaber, whom Voidsmoke made contact with to make a fair judgment on this situation, and yet, not only do you not appreciate our patience, but you're also not giving us any explanation? Is this the Law Enforcement of the Aurora Cloud Gate? How irresponsible!"

The woman's dark eyes shone with purple light as she extended her frail-looking hands.

Spatial cracks began to appear all over the place, spreading outwards until the entire sky was torn apart by the rifts. Destruction was rampant, plunging the space into utter chaos as it spread in a circle before making its way to the flying boat at the center, intending to engulf this place into shambles.

The very sight of it caused the disciples to take a few steps back in terror. It was as though the entire world was going to crumble underneath its might, causing them to feel frightened beyond compare. Only the true disciples who had resolute wills were able to see this scene and not become scared, while some had faith in their elders and did not panic at all.

"The First Haven World has many layers of space covering it. To lightly wound the second layer, you're not bad."

Suddenly, Elder Whitejoy laughed. His countenance was like a gentle elder, but at this moment, his voice sounded eerie and grating. Despite the brightness of his white robe, a dark light enveloped the world, causing the day to turn into night.

At the same time, the spatial cracks encroaching near them abruptly stopped in their tracks, slowing down before they started retreating.

Although she could tell that the spatial tears repaired themselves from the natural laws of space taking over, how could it be that her spatial attack was easily held back and even forced to retreat?

Just how strong could this Elder be even though, from what she could perceive, they were all Level One Immortal Emperors?

"…!"

However, the light-attributed attack unleashed by Elder Whitejoy didn't stop at blocking the spatial tears but extended towards them, intending to swallow them whole this time.

"Hmph! The Obsidian Light of the Obsidian Star Emperor's Legacy truly does shine in your hands."

The black-robed woman harrumphed and joined hands with the man beside her, pushing their other palms to the front.

Instantly, a space visibly shook like an ocean wave and surged toward the dark light.

*Bang!~*

A huge explosion of force spread out from their clash, causing the many mountains nearby to explode and the rivers to tremble into a fountain of explosion. Space cracked everywhere and stitched again, leaving behind a shattered look of the world that, in some directions, they could even see a mirror version of themselves looking dumbfounded at themselves.

The knowledgeable disciples were able to perceive that it was just the reflection of scattered light, but still, they sucked in a breath of cold air as they witnessed this ultimate attack.

What Nyx Godwin? What Emperor of Death? None of them would be able to survive under these two attacks, much less have the courage to speak.

"Sigh, I wish master was still here to chide me, but since he has ascended, it is up to me to protect these disciples."

Elder Whitejoy appeared emotional.

Looking at this scene, Elder Earthsaber shook his head and disappeared.

*Whoosh!~*

Within a few seconds, he arrived before them and yelled out.

"You dare to besiege my flying boat? Why don't you try killing me instead?"

His voice was calm, but it contained an ominous aura that made one feel anxious whenever they heard it.

The eyes of the two Immortal Emperors flickered as the man bellowed out, "You dare to enclose the distance? You'll regret it!"

The two of them quickly summoned a spatial barrier that used the existence of space around them and strengthened it, making their position invincible even though it appeared as though no technique had been used.

However, space was extremely solidified before them. They sneered, looking at the brown-robed figure pouncing to their location, hacking down with his saber.

"Die!"

The three of them bellowed at the same time.

*Boom!~*

"What!?"

The two black-robed Immortal Emperors tumbled down lightly before they regained their balance. What was once an invisible barrier now appeared cracked at the location where they received the saber.

"…!"

They instantly saw the saber hacking down again, causing them to hurriedly restore the barrier.

*Boom!~* *Crack!~*

*Boom!~* *Crack!~*

*Boom!~* *Crack!~*

The two Immortal Emperors looked at their barrier containing cracks all over the space. Although they didn't tumble anymore, they knew if they stayed, it would be dangerous. Their expressions couldn't help but turn unsightly.

As soon as Elder Earthsaber attacked them, they had planned to flip the barrier and seal him in place, but it was unexpected that their barrier couldn't even take the first attack and began to shatter, leaving them with no choice.

*Whoosh!~*

The two of them quickly rushed into the distance.

"Want to escape? Too bad. You two should've left when I said so! Ahahaha!"

Elder Earthsaber repeatedly hacked and slashed his saber at them.

*Boom!~* *Crack!~* *Boom!~* *Crack!~*

Despite them retreating into the horizons, Elder Earthsaber didn't let up, following them with a crazy look on his face as he kept cracking their spatial barrier that repeatedly kept growing back, only a thin line away from shattering it.

"…"

Looking at two Immortal Emperors being chased away by a single elder of their power, the disciples were momentarily dumbfounded before they raised their voices in joy and pride!

Davis and Myria also looked at each other, not having expected such an outcome in a short few moments.

Just how powerful was Elder Earthsaber- no, these three elders who seemed close-knit?

But more than that, they couldn't help but imagine how humiliated those Immortal Emperors must be to be chased like this, causing them to smile as they looked at each other.
