Chapter 607 Malicious Accusation

"That's right, it's murder!"

The interrogating police officer, John, stared at Wang Chao coldly. His voice was even icier, "We've watched the surveillance footage, and it was you who knocked these people unconscious."

"Besides the three who exploded, two others have died not long ago."

"They obviously died under your hands!"

"Now, what do you have to say for yourself?"

John was Sheriff George's right-hand man, and after receiving George's orders, he knew exactly what to do. Now that Wang Chao was locked up in the interrogation room, he felt like a fish on a chopping board.

Giving Wang Chao a false accusation would be an effortless task.

"Death? Impossible. I was very careful with my actions, and there should have been no casualties," Wang Chao replied calmly.

He had only used pressure points on the masked men, squeezed the throat of one of them, and used his "Soul Seizing" technique on them.

"Soul Seizing" was a powerful hypnotic skill that manipulated the opponent's mind with mental energy. It was an aggressive form of hypnosis that forcibly induced the opponent into a hypnotic state, causing severe damage to their mind and brain tissues, leading to serious consequences.

The effects ranged from mild psychological disorders, mental fragmentation, and dementia to the extreme, where the opponent's brain would rupture, resulting in death.

Wang Chao had controlled the technique well, only leaving the men in a state of dementia without causing any fatalities.

"I knew you would try to talk your way out of it," John sneered, then pulled out several photos and threw them on the table in front of Wang Chao. Coldly, he said, "You can't deny it. Take a good look; what do you see in these photos?"

Wang Chao glanced at the pictures, his eyes growing even colder.

The photos showed two dead masked men, one of whom had his neck squeezed by him.

At this moment, that person was already dead.

Another photo showed the result of this person's autopsy, which indicated that he died from being strangled.

There were other pictures, all connected to him.

Most of them were his fingerprints, surveillance footage capturing him attacking the masked men, the so-called "evidence."

John received all these surveillance materials from others, and he had never watched them, let alone have a clear understanding of Wang Chao's abilities.

In his eyes, Wang Chao was just an ordinary person, at most a skilled special agent, whom he could easily manipulate.

"You killed people; the evidence is irrefutable. What else can you say now? You're a murderer, and you better admit it and plead guilty. Otherwise, according to our White Eagle Country's law, we can execute you immediately!" John berated in anger.

As he spoke, he slammed the table, trying to intimidate Wang Chao.

But Wang Chao remained calm, unaffected, and calmly said, "These people were not killed by me, and this evidence is fake. Now, I have the right to remain silent until my lawyer arrives."

After saying that, he closed his eyes and ignored John completely.

John was taken aback, his eyes showing some surprise.

Normally, when people were taken into their unit, especially the interrogation room, even the most vicious criminals would quiet down.

Even if they were arrogant, they would still show some fear.

However, when Wang Chao arrived here, he showed no fear at all, remaining calm and composed as if he were in his own living room.

Moreover, he presented the supposedly incriminating evidence, and yet Wang Chao was not flustered at all; he remained composed.

This made him feel particularly displeased, as if Wang Chao's behavior was the biggest insult to him, mocking his incompetence.

He tried speaking again, adding more accusations and threats to Wang Chao, attempting to force a reaction.

But faced with his various accusations and scolding, Wang Chao didn't even bother to respond. He kept his eyes closed, remaining composed.

This further fueled John's rage, and he glared at Wang Chao with even colder eyes.

Before John could make any further moves, a cold voice came through the earpiece he was wearing, "If being soft doesn't work, then use force! You know what to do, right?"

"Understood."

John nodded, his gaze becoming even more menacing. He hung up the phone, turned off all the surveillance videos, and approached Wang Chao with a sinister expression.

John held the hammer and approached Wang Chao, lifting the hammer high and slamming it onto the table with a loud bang.

The huge noise made the recorders in the interrogation room frown.

Wang Chao remained calm with his eyes closed.

He didn't even open his eyes, just saying indifferently, "I advise you not to act rashly, or you'll be the one at a loss."

John's anger turned into a sneer, and his eyes grew even colder. He said coldly, "Wang Chao, it seems like you've lost your mind, haven't you? Don't you understand your current situation?"

"You are on our turf now, yet you dare to be so arrogant? You're looking for death!"

"I want to see how you, a person with your hands bound, will make me suffer!"

Saying this, he sneered and raised the hammer, viciously aiming it at Wang Chao's chest.

The strike was powerful and fast!

If the hammer hit Wang Chao, even if he didn't die, he would be seriously injured.

This was outright abuse of power!

As the hammer approached, Wang Chao still kept his eyes closed.

John grinned as if he could already see Wang Chao spitting blood after being hit.

He believed that this one strike would subdue Wang Chao!

Bang!

Before his wicked smile could fully form, he was sent flying over five meters like a rag doll, landing heavily on the ground, lying on his back with all limbs in the air.

At that moment, he felt a searing pain in his buttocks and spine. Especially in his chest, at least three ribs were broken, causing excruciating pain. Even breathing felt like a tearing sensation.

In that instant, he felt as if he had been hit by a car head-on, with his blood boiling and his body in agony as if it were falling apart.

John gritted his teeth and sat up, staring angrily at Wang Chao. "What did you do to me?"

Before he could finish speaking, a sweet sensation rose in his throat, and he spat out a mouthful of blood. His eyes closed, and he fell unconscious.

Witnessing this scene, the recorder and the accompanying white police officers were all dumbfounded.

Wang Chao opened his eyes, glanced at John's figure, and said calmly, "I told you, if you make a move, it's you who will suffer!"

At this moment, the accompanying police officer took out his gun and aimed it at Wang Chao. "You dare to attack the police openly? Are you seeking death?"

Wang Chao remained calm and uttered flatly, "Open your eyes and pay a little more attention. I didn't do anything, alright?"

The white police officer was taken aback.

He did see that Wang Chao didn't make any moves when John was sent flying.

He turned to look at the police officer responsible for recording the interrogation.

That police officer shook his head, indicating that he hadn't seen anything either.

Both of them instinctively looked at the surveillance cameras and frowned.

When John decided to make a move against Wang Chao, he turned off the cameras. Now they could not find any evidence.

Most importantly, Wang Chao's speed was too fast, reaching the point where it was imperceptible to the naked eye. They could not see it, and without any evidence, they couldn't convict Wang Chao.

Moreover, Wang Chao could reach such a level even with his hands cuffed. It showed that his strength was formidable, and they might not be able to handle him.

Wang Chao looked at the white police officer and said, "John has an earpiece on. If I'm not mistaken, he's talking to Sheriff George."

"Tell George to stop, release me, and I might consider sparing him once."

"Otherwise, he'll face the consequences!"

His voice was incredibly cold and full of confidence.

If he wanted to leave, even the most secure and horrifying prison in the world could not hold him.

The reason he followed these police officers here was not because he was afraid or wanted to abide by White Eagle Country's laws.

It was all part of the trap he had set up!

Now, he wanted to have a face-to-face conversation with George!
