Chapter 97: Gunfight (2)
"Wow… What happened?" the people walking on the street were surprised by the loud gunshots happening around them. As this operation was executed secretly, the police department is still kept in the dark until the gunshot was fired.
But their response was immediate the moment order was given to the southern district's department. Close to twenty police cars immediately make their way over to this area and sealed it from the walkers. More policemen soon arrive to calm the people living around there, stopping them from leaving their premises.
"What happened? I have an urgent business meeting. I must go right now!" said one of the public members as he tried to force his way out from the building beside the Horusian Embassy that was now under renovation.
"Sir, please stay inside the building. We're authorized to use the required force if you decided to not follow our instructions." a policeman stopped the person from forcing his way out.
"What? Do I pay tax to you guys so you can stop me from getting my contract? I care less about your concern. Either you let me go, or you capture me!" the public member raised his voice as if he's trying to entice the others to follow him.
But his plan backfired. As he gets caught in the fight against the policemen, the zipper of his bag accidentally opened. Stacks and stacks of Pan-Euro notes were dropping out from his bag. There are at least a few million euros in there.
"Sir, stay there and don't move!" the policeman pulled his gun out and pointed at the male on the floor.
"This is PC-200-118. I might found a sleeping agent of the terrorist group. Requesting assistance. My location is in Lianshun Building, Lobby entrance." the policeman quickly reported as he asked the people to stay along at the lift's waiting area.

"Are you ready?" Zhang Qin Feng asked Lightbulb while opening the window by force after asking for the house owner's permission. Using Lightbulb's id card as the collateral that the government will be responsible for the repair.
"Huh… Huh…" Lightbulb slapped his face twice as he made up his mind.
"Let's do it!" he finally agreed. Crossing his arms around his chest, Zhang Qin Feng grabbed his waistbelt and took a few steps forward before throwing him out of the window.
"Mamamia!" Lightbulb cried as he flew across the two buildings like an arrow. His momentum was stopped as he came across a solid wall.
"Phew… Safe landing, I guess?" Lightbulb checked for any injuries around him before he tied himself on one of the pillars and gives Zhang Qin Feng a hand signal.
"Houseowner, sorry for the mess." Zhang Qin Feng apologized and jumped out of the window. Putting his hope on Lightbulb's hand, he took the daring leap and stretched his hand out as far as he could.
"Aargh!" Lightbulb managed to catch one of Zhang Qin Feng's hands after the jump.
"Are you alright?" he asked while Zhang Qin Feng's life is still hanging in his hand.
"Yeah. Pull me up." Zhang Qin Feng smiled and reached to the scaffolding's pillar and balanced himself. After checking that both were fit to continue, Zhang Qin Feng tapped on Lightbulb's shoulder. He now had Centurion S-11 Rifle on his shoulder and the Phalanx X-02 on the back of his waist.
'Where did the gun come from?' he was puzzled by the question as they searched for an entry point.
"Hey, what are you guys still doing outside? Come in quickly…"
"Urgh!" a terrorist has coincidently opened the window into the building. Taking that guy out immediately, Zhang Qin Feng and Lightbulb stormed into the sixth floor as they took out the five remaining agents inside that room.
"You'll go left. Let me take the one on this side." Zhang Qin Feng pointed at the door on the left end corner.
" Noted. See you on the stairs." Lightbulb made his way over where Zhang Qin Feng wanted him to go. As for himself, he gently opened the door and came across a corridor with two rooms on the side and a straight path to the decommissioned lift.
"Intruder, Urgh!" one of the doors was opened as an agent came to see what's going on. He ended up being unlucky as Zhang Qin Feng grabbed his neck and took him down before screaming.
And with Stein, there's nothing that can stop Zhang Qin Feng as he took the pistol out to shoot the two other terrorists inside the smaller room. Moving to the door beside, Zhang Qin Feng repeated the action and took three other terrorists before they could react.
After assuring that there's nothing suspicious on the lift with the door opened wide, Zhang Qin Feng proceeds to the stairs. It was puzzling to him that the staircase has a "7" written on the wall.
'Was this not the sixth floor? How come it was seventh?' Zhang Qin Feng asked himself.
[This might be a deception technique. Saving the data right now for future reference…]
"Huh… Huh… It's done." his partner came a few minutes later. From his condition, it seems he had quite a challenge while taking out the terrorists.
"Can you still keep on moving?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
"Yes." Lightbulb answered.
"Let's go. We'll continue scaling down. Don't trust the numbers on the wall. It is suspicious." Zhang Qin Feng warned him before they took the stairs one level down.

"Sir, the open area is clear! Squad 1 will force the door open right now!" the squad leader reported as his team moved forward to set charges on the door that locked tight.
But as they were about to do so, the wooden boards on their feet crumbled. Eight out of the eleven moving members were fallen into the deep chasm as their crying sounds can be heard.
"Careful… There's a trap all over! This place is filled with wet cement." one of the soldiers with his head out said. After telling them the situation inside, he quickly helped his companion that fell into the cement head first.
And that's including Squad 1's leader.
"Squad 2, move in! Squad 3, get your rope out and pull our men out of there!" Captain Hu quickly ordered. It seems he had to participate in this gunfight as well.
