Chapter 87: Scan

"Well, your turn now. Don't you think we're nice people?" Lightbulb asked as he moves his chair to the second guy.

His question made the guy trembled as he's unsure what will be his ending. Looking at the part of the table full of blood made the second agent felt a little afraid that he will be treated the same if he kept quiet.

With one example, the others all knew what kind of rules to follow.

Very soon, some hints and tips related to here and there were compiled together and placed beside Zhang Qin Feng's table.

"You were quite ruthless." Captain Hu said and took a seat on a nearby stool. It was actually prepared for Zhang Qin Feng to reach a higher part of the electronic shelf, but it seems convenient to have it here.

"I got no choice. I don't want to get rough either, but we need the intel ASAP. You can deliver them back to the cell if you like. The next part of our operation will start tonight, so go get some rest before its evening." Zhang Qin Feng said as he pulled the laptop monitor down.

"Mr. Zhang, I hope you won't mind me asking, but where did you get those training from?" Captain Hu asked as he was curious about Zhang Qin Feng's background.

Based on their less than 20 minutes operation, he was given more than a chance to witness how powerful is Zhang Qin Feng's body. Although it seems that he had no martial art base, his movement doesn't lose to a professional martial artist that trained for over a decade or two.

As a fellow martial artist, it was easy for him to imitates what Zhang Qin Feng did. But between them, there's a difference of about twenty years old. It would be a shame to call himself an expert in front of Zhang Qin Feng.

"Nowhere. Just some interest here and there, and some regular day-to-day training. I was not a member of any special forces or whatsoever." Zhang Qin Feng replied honestly, but he knew that even if he said it was the fact, the captain would still find it had to believe him.

Since that's how it would be, why bother to answer it seriously or not?

The two continue to have small talk until their ride is here early in the morning. After making sure the four captives were moved into their ride, everyone left, leaving only Zhang Qin Feng in the workshop.

They'll be expected to return at midnight.

In the meantime, it would be how own time to do what he likes to.

"What you mean by our base get attacked? Who the hell attacked the base?" Dagger asked. He was still investigating why one of the outposts wasn't replying to his call last night.

"The special squad were all over the perimeters. Do you think it is safe for us to be around the area under so many armed police and security personnel?" Lady replied.

"How about the people? Is there anyone managed to escape?" he continued to ask.

"Zero. Not even a distress call managed to make its way here to the HQ, so what makes you think that there are escapees? It was a total loss. We'll have to dispose of the tools to avoid their detection ASAP." Lady said.

"I'm working on it as we speak," Joker interrupted.

"Where is Giant?" Dagger asked. While he's not worried about that guy being a traitor of their organization, he's worried if that guy were to snitch at him for failure to finish his task.

Although all of them were terrorists, they're still paid based on how heavy is their responsibilities. The worst their efficiency equals to the smaller percentage of his cut.

And nobody would be happy with getting paid less, especially when all of them were working and risking their life here.

"He went out this morning. Perhaps he got a secret mission from Howard?" said Lady. Her words name Joker and stared at her intensely.

Everyone started to look at one another as they had something different in their mind.

"Feng, you're back." Zhang Qin Feng came back to the Post-Apocalypse after he took a power nap in the morning. Although the issue back in the modern world was worrying for him, it was not enough to deter him from coming here.

Furthermore, after tasted the fruit of labor from using the equipment from here back on his world, the differences made him somewhat proud of what he had.

"Is there anything to update me?" Zhang Qin Feng asked. Looking at how the pile of vehicle scrap that was getting lower every day made him delighted as that means they could start using that entrance later.

"It just a night. Do you want to go out and hunt with me? I have a feeling you'll need it." Satella asked.

"This…" Zhang Qin Feng was somewhat rejecting her suggestion, but at the same time, he wanted to find an outlet to vent his anger too.

It seems that Stein was agreeing with Satella's suggestion too.

Reluctantly, he accepted her suggestion. After having a short talk with the others, Zhang Qin Feng left the base and followed Satella closely. She took him to a place with considerable resources to loot and safe.

"Since it's safe, why don't the others came here to do the same? Don't tell me it is a secret location?" Zhang Qin Feng asked as he followed her pace. To his surprise, it seems that Satella's fitness was not losing to him.

'What the hell? Is there something wrong with me? How come I feel it's challenging to follow Satella's pace?' Zhang Qin Feng started to question himself as he finds it challenging to follow Satella's movement.

'Stein, is it possible for you to scan Satella's Status Evaluation?' Zhang Qin Feng asked.

[Possible. The request will be completed the next time the user copulates with the subject "Satella."]

'I want it now, damn it.'
