Chapter 373: (EDT) Rescue Mission (4)
"Is everyone ready?" the captain of 010 asked as he interacted with four other ship captains at once.
"Ready whenever you said the word, 010. But are you sure our boss is ready for the pickup when we arrive at the port? I hope you know what we're signing for because you had no idea what our opponent is capable of." said the captain for 002.
Out of the five captains here, only the one commandeering 010 Assailant-Class wasn't a member from Turbine Town's personnel. This made him oblivious of what the West Strand Division could do.
"I'm sure of it. The boss did mention to move immediately when we're gathered. We will be providing him with cover fire until he successfully retreats from the base with his mission targets. As for our targets, they will be updated into our Luna Device soon when he get in touch with us again." 010's captain added.
"Then… What are we waiting for? Let's make our back to the continent and bring our boss back home." 002's captain said. There's a hint of seniority behind his words since he was appointed far earlier than everyone else here.
"Also… 006 and 008. Both of you will be taking the lead in our formation this time. We'll be relying on you two to crush all the available facilities in a single barrage." the 002's captain added.
"Of course. I'll make sure we record it to share what could happen when these people get attacked by two of our four heaviest firepower patrol ships." the two captains chuckled.
Just like this, a formation of two vanguards and three rearguard ships sailed towards Zhang Qin Feng's current location.

"All units! Capture the intruders by any means. If you're required to open fire onto the civilian's building, then go ahead. Your orders are not to kill but capture." said their commanding officer while running the show from his command center.
Altogether, 400 soldiers were deployed from the Military Camp to control the situation. Another one hundred backup soldiers came from the holding facility where Zhang Qin Feng was infiltrating, which bolstered their number to 500.
With this manpower, capturing the few attackers would be nothing but a walk around the park for them.
Of course, they had no idea that things weren't going to be as simple as they thought.
With half of the manpower left to assist the main army, Zhang Qin Feng's entry into the facility went unhindered. All the doors to obstruct unwanted intruders now open themselves widely to welcome Zhang Qin Feng inside.
Although half of the manpower had left under the commander's order, about a hundred soldiers still remained within this facility. But unfortunately for them, they're currently trapped by their own security system.
Only a small number of soldiers were actively running around to resolve this matter. As for the others, they're either trapped in the barracks, canteen, or training room.
They couldn't even do anything to Zhang Qin Feng and his two soldiers as they walked past the hallway.
With the communication signal here was jammed by Stein, this facility is currently out of contact with the world outside.
A few soldiers tried to recover their control over this facility, but evidently, they were too inexperienced. Some even resorted to using heavy arsenals to breach the facility's armory, but they yielded pointless results.
And to avoid something could go wrong, Zhang Qin Feng purposely made a detour and attacked the armory first. Although most of them were handicapped due to Zhang Qin Feng's cyber-warfare, their existing equipment is still good enough to challenge Zhang Qin Feng.
This is the most apparent point between them. Even with some technological upgrades, Zhang Qin Feng's existing equipment still barely held against what the West Strand Division had. It was evident that Zhang Qin Feng would have to do his part in weaponry research to compete in firepower.
The attack over the armory took a little of his precious time, but it had to be done. After robbing the armory clean, Zhang Qin Feng proceeds to the nearest holding room from where he was. If the record was accurate, this room is where Shaun is held captive.
Moving forward while neutralizing the threat as they go, Zhang Qin Feng soon arrived at his first destination.
Stein immediately hacked into the system and forced the door open to reveal the prisoner inside the room.
For a moment here, Zhang Qin Feng felt his heart was pierced by thousands of needles when he saw what kind of torture was done on Shaun.
Without further ado, Zhang Qin Feng immediately grabbed two bottles of Instant Recovery Spray to apply on Shaun's body filled with bruises, cuts, incisions, and even needle holes. The spray works, but Zhang Qin Feng understands that nothing could heal the trauma he had suffered during this.
After feeding Shaun with a packet of SUpplement Drink, Zhang Qin Feng left him to one of the soldiers and quickly made his way towards the next holding cell, one floor up.
Their way upstairs was still filled with danger. Even after hacking into their server and controlling the facility from his mind, this place is still riddled with multiple independent defense servers for enhanced security purposes.
From rescuing Shaun to outside Alex's holding cell, only fifteen minutes had passed. But to Zhang Qin Feng, each minute he wasted felt like a day to him.
"Alex!" Zhang Qin Feng was the first to enter the room. But what was greeting him was a gruesome sight of Alex.
Even Shaun felt that he was lucky for not being tortured to what Alex had to go through. This team leader, who was the second closest friend of Zhang Qin Feng, was left alive merely without a single limb attached.
All four of his limbs were taken away from him, along with his precious manhood. If Zhang Qin Feng was just angered after seeing how they treated Shaun, he's currently in the mood to destroy the entire base right now, after seeing what they did to Alex.
