"Rescuing someone? Are we…" the soldier who asked seems to get what Zhang Qin Feng tried to say from his mysterious reply. It seems that his response also made the other four notice what Zhang Qin Feng was trying to say.
"Are we attempting to rescue the team leaders?" one of the four other soldiers interrupted without asking for permission to speak. But since they're the only few people inside this house, they're excluded from all those rules.
"Finally… It was not a mistake to volunteer to go with this mission at all," the soldier that spoke with Zhang Qin Feng first said. Their reaction was puzzling for the other five soldiers in the team, but that was understandable.
Half of the ten soldiers here were new recruits that were recently activated from the Cloning Facility. And since they never came across the battle in Turbine Town and here, they naturally had no idea regarding the team leaders Zhang Qin Feng and others were talking about.
"Sorry, Boss… But can we know about the team leaders you're talking about?" the five other soldiers interrupted. They looked puzzled as they were unable to join in the conversation at all.
"Let's have a briefing while we're waiting for the second part of our mission." Zhang Qin Feng smiled at the five new recruits and transferred a few images to their Luna Device. He knew that an introduction like this is a must before they move out tonight.
The briefing about Satella, Alex, Queenie, and Shaun lasted for close to half an hour. But once the information was fully extracted from hacking into their terminal was completed, it was time for them to have a proper briefing on the second part of their mission.
It seems that out of the five facilities, Queenie was the only one separated from the others. The other three team leaders were held in the same facility, with the most stationed troops. As for the three remaining facilities, what was kept there were either research specimens or technology.
"Do you have a good look at their response when the Assailant-Class open fire?" Zhang Qin Feng asked the five veteran soldiers in the team.
"Yes, Boss. The moment the alarm went off, the guards were on full alert as the facility went into a complete lockdown. From their response alone, it felt like they were expecting the people to attack the facility." the soldiers that returned from the suspicious facility all gave him the same answer.
Their answer was the same as what was recorded from their Luna Device. But the question here is, why would they focus most of their security personnel on the building holding Satella, Alex, and Shaun, but not Queenie?
Additionally, why would they store the research specimen and technology separately in multiple locations?
All this information spelled scheme to Zhang Qin Feng. It was like they were expecting him to mount a rescue and were waiting for him to fall into their trap.
Their briefing continued as they steadily came up with a plan to proceed with the second part of the mission.
Zhang Qin Feng left the premises with two soldiers following him as there was less than an hour to go before their mission. About ten minutes after him, the remaining eight soldiers in the building followed.
All of them were equipped with something else as they made their way towards the facility they were assigned to.
To make sure they're capable of bringing out the same surprise as the attack this afternoon, Zhang Qin Feng had heavily invested in this attack.
Four attacks happened precisely at midnight. But this time, the attack didn't come from the sea.
Unsure what these terrorists used to smuggle their heavy weaponry into the base, all the facilities were under heavy fire from multiple miniguns. Because the bullets they were using were made for armor-piercing, the destructive force itself is no different from getting attacked by numerous Tyrants.
Added with a few Decimator Launchers hitting their entrances and vital location around the building, they were half demolished when the request for help arrived at the Military Office.
"We need help now! This is the First Science Facility!"
"Please send help! The Viral Research Facility is under heavy fire!"
"Send assistance now, please! The Weaponry Division got attacked!"
"Need rescue, our facility is broken through! This is the Second Science Facility!"
Reports were coming into the Military Office at the same time. This forced the army stationed here to have no choice but to deploy all their manpower into the seaside base. Even the reserved soldiers stationed inside the facility with the highest security couldn't escape from this order.
They had no choice but to be deployed to control the situation.
And this was precisely the moment Zhang Qin Feng was waiting for. This is exactly the best time for him to infiltrate the facility and rescue the people he's searching for.

A bullet silently reaped the life of a guard the moment it was fired from afar. And before the other guard managed to process what happened, the second bullet arrived.
Two guards were killed in less than ten seconds while Zhang Qin Feng leisurely made his way towards the facility entrance.
More soldiers were disposed of in this manner until the perimeter was clear from patrolling guards. Using the time he had left to catch up with Zhang Qin Feng and his teammate, the trio soon arrived at the facility entrance that was tightly sealed.
A door like this would take more than three Decimator Warheads to blow apart. But if they really used this method to breach the facility, there's no doubt it would trigger the security alarm for this place.
"Should I get into the facility using another entrance and unlock this from the inside?" asked one of the two veteran soldiers accompanying Zhang Qin Feng.
"Why should we bother with crude tactics like that? With me here, there are no doors below the shelter's security level that could stop me from where I wanted to go," said Zhang Qin Feng.
The door immediately opened itself as Zhang Qin Feng took another step forward.
"This…" what happened made the two soldiers look at one another with an indescribable expression.
