Chapter 354: (EDT) Rescue (2)
On the table were nine power suits similar to the Avalon Jumpsuit. Unlike the incomplete Avalon's unit Zhang Qin Feng researched back in the older Wind Base, this Open-Source power suit was designed especially for military use.
From what Victor said, this power suit can increase the wearer's ability by 50%. But different from Avalon's unit, which focuses more on mobility, this military-grade equipment is designed to cater to weight and automation functions.
Currently, it was preset to automatically reload their firearms and Decimator Launcher in an emergency. But that was all it provided, along with an increase in arm strength.
Next on the table is a piece of disk-like protective equipment known as "Frost Curtain." From Victor's explanation, this was a piece of deployable shield equipment capable of discharging a layer of frost to reflect the impact to a certain degree.
According to Victor, this ability was thanks to the "Leidenfrost Effect" field it created. Although the degree of protection is questionable for now, it was better than not having one as additional protection.

Last on the table is a collection of firearms. From the Chain-Lightning minigun to the traditional rifle, there are about fifteen choices of weaponry for them to choose from. All of them were created accordingly to the blueprint Victor found from the shelter.
But amongst the firearms, the best one would be the Nightstalker-Gatling Bracelet. Although the firing capacity of this weapon is only about five hundred shots, this equipment had the power to match against a fully loaded Chain-Lightning minigun.

"Is that all of you?" Zhang Qin Feng asked the thirty-two personnel inside his office.
"Yes, Boss!" everyone simultaneously replied to Zhang Qin Feng. And that's included the ten residents from Shelter No: 213, who came here voluntarily or due to some promised rewards.
"Good. Since everyone was present, all of you shall grab one of the ballots from this box to see which team you're assigned to." Zhang Qin Feng tapped on the ballot box and tossed it to one of the soldiers to distribute it around.
With everyone having a piece of paper in their hand, they quickly moved and gathered into four different teams. All of this took them less than three minutes to get used to the changes.
"Since we have thirty-two people in this room, we'll divide ourselves into four teams. Vanguard-1 and Vanguard-2, with ten members in a group. As for the two six men team, you'll be the Rearguard-1 and Rearguard-2." Zhang Qin Feng said.
"I want nine volunteers from the two Vanguard teams to collect a set of equipment here with you. Those with this equipment will be permanent members of my Vanguard's Unit."
"The Vanguard-1 will have me as the team leader, while for Vanguard-2, choose a leader amongst yourself and report to my Luna Device when we get onshore."
"As for the Rearguard-1 and Rearguard-2, you'll be positioned on the 001 and 002 Assailant-Class Patrol Ship to provide cover fire through the Raven Sniper Rifle I'll be distributing later."
"The V-1 and V-2 will get on the land and move eastbound. Depending on how smoothly our progress is, our checkpoint will be every twenty milometers mark along the coast."
"Our mission destination will be the port, which had been turned into a rock forest right now. This is a rescue and elimination mission, so we'll be hunting all the Zombies and Tyrants on our way, so we have to move swiftly." Zhang Qin Feng continues with the briefing at his own pace.
"Are there any questions so far?" Zhang Qin Feng stopped in between to make sure nobody was lost in between.
"No, Boss!" they replied. Not even a single one of them here looked lost or confused from what he had said so far.
"Great. Let's remember that we have eight companions still alive and stranded underground. As I had promised them, we'll come back to them, and we'll have to save them no matter the cost." Zhang Qin Feng added.
"Before we depart, if there's anyone here unwilling to participate in this rescue mission, raise your hand now." Zhang Qin Feng completed his briefing and let the soldiers inside this room to decide if they were coming or not.
Zhang Qin Feng waited a whole minute to let them make their choice.
"Alright. Let's depart. Vanguard-1 and Vanguard-2, move as soon as you're ready. V-1 will follow my fast boat. Let's meet onshore." Zhang Qin Feng quietly left the room after that.
While everyone else was busy putting on the gears and preparing their battle supplies, Zhang Qin Feng visited the armory and left some Raven Sniper Rifles. He's still the first one to get on the fast boat.
In about five minutes, the two fast boats departed about the same time. And while they were moving towards the land, Rearguard-1 and Rearguard-2 would return to the two vessels and provide long-ranged support.
"ETA, 10 seconds!" the soldier who controlled the boat said to Zhang Qin Feng as it got closer to the beach.
"Safety off, You're allowed to engage the moment we get off the boat. Vanguard-2, you'll be leading the way towards the east, so keep moving forward. Leave the cleaning to us." Zhang Qin Feng delivered another set of commands to the team beside his.
"Yes, Boss!" the leader of Vanguard-2 replied.
*BANG!*
A few loud gunshots accompanied him as the zombies gathered around the beach were killed by the snipers positioned on the two vessels.
This ranged support allowed them to descend from the fast boat immediately and leave without clearing the area first. After abandoning the transport and pressing the disassembling trigger, Vanguard-2 instantly head eastward.
It seems that clearance wasn't their priority.
Zhang Qin Feng's Vanguard-1 followed their steps in less than a minute later. Moving eastward towards the direction of the port, the two teams immediately cooperated as one was responsible for opening a path, and the other cleared whatever was left aftermath.
"Tyrant's spotted! V-2, slow down your pace!" Zhang Qin Feng immediately gave an order as their path was blocked by the arrival of three Tyrants.
