"Boss! The workers are all hiding behind this study tortoiseshell of theirs. Look at how strong is this partition! Even my wooden bat can't make a hole on it!" said one of the local gangsters that were here to cause trouble.
"I suspect that they're not here for construction, but for something else! Look! There's not even a single construction tower around here. Don't you think it's a little fishy about all this?" another local gangster said.
Their behavior was like monkeys coming into town for the first time. Everything here was alien to them, from the walls to the lack of heavy machinery and workers.
But such a thing was normal to the workers related to the Wind Base Construction Project. Since everything was provided, from cigarettes, beverages and meals, the workers leave this place only to enjoy their nightlife.
And this ended up becoming the rumors used by the locals to express their dissatisfaction. With the local gangsters and other developers in cahoot to fan this fired, it then leads to these people coming to the site and causes trouble daily.
Because the workers were unsure of their management's standing in this matter, nobody dared to continue with their work in afraid that things would escalate until it was out of control.
Some of them even asked why the locals were trying to hinder their jobs, but nobody could tell them the exact reason. The hint that this entire mess was instigated by someone else is apparent. Still, the workers are unable to do anything except requesting help from their superior back in Marianna.
This issue has snowballed into a more significant case that can no longer be handled peacefully.
Especially when more locals turning up and started to demand the Wind Base International to pull out from this project.

Driving for close to three hours from Suihe City, Zhang Qin Feng soon entered the road leading into this seaside town. Although its size was barely one-tenth of the city, it was positioned third in Dongcheng's ten must-visit locations.

And the closer he is to the town center, the more underdeveloped the building is. Some roads were not even registered in the maps and have to be updated by Stein automatically.
"No wonder this place looks proper from the outside but losing its charm amongst the locals. With all the businesses mainly focusing on entertaining tourists instead of locals, of course, it lost the support amongst the locals." Zhang Qin Feng said.
This inequality made this prime location lose its charm.
"Stein, give me the direction to the district office. Then make another from the office to Win Base International's site." Zhang Qin Feng ordered.
Soon, a roadmap leading to the district office was alight inside Zhang Qin Feng's eyes as he drove there.
It was a two-level tall building with modest decoration. But Zhang Qin Feng had little faith in this office as his eyes came to the glass door with a crack on the lower panel. Was it not build from anti-shattering glasses, the whole door would have to be replaced now.
Pushing the door and went inside, Zhang Qin Feng saw only three female clerks inside this office supposed to handle all the big and small matters related to this town.
"Where is the town's District Representative? Can I meet him?" Zhang Qin Feng asked as he removed the sunglasses he was wearing. The suave action of his quickly grabs the attention of the three female clerks in this building.
"The - The representative is not in the office right now. Can you leave him a message so we can get him to call you when he returns?" one of the clerks attended to Zhang Qin Feng with a hint of blush on her face.
It was unsure if she was blushing for talking with someone good-looking like Zhang Qin Feng or because she's new in her job.
"Just give me his number or call him, and that will do." Zhang Qin Feng replied to her. He might look charming with a big smile on his face, but he's someone that wouldn't take no as the answer.
"C… Can I have your name?" she continued.
"Zhang Qin Feng, acting captain for Tianhe Special Squadron." Zhang Qin Feng placed his army license and registration booklet on the table for her to verify.
"A captain…" his reply made the two other female clerks concentrated their gaze on him. He had not turned from a suave man to a soldier who had a guaranteed soldier benefit upon retirement covered by the government.
To females with a minimal requirement on their partner, Zhang Qin Feng is a straightforward meal ticket with government benefit all-inclusive.
"This is his number, captain Zhang." the clerk responded quickly. Without further ado, Zhang Qin Feng immediately makes a call to this person.
"Hello? Who is this?" there's a hint of tipsiness from the male answering his phone call. From the look of it, this representative was not informed about his arrival today.
Zhang Qin Feng passed his phone to the clerk to speak on a loudspeaker function.
"Boss, it's me." the female clerk answered. But to everyone's surprise, the representative's word was entirely out of their control.
"Why are you calling me from a hidden number? Are you changing your mind about sleeping with me for promotion? If you do, come to the Aurora Hotel, room 707. I'll be waiting for you here naked." said the representative.
His reply made everyone, especially the female clerk, feel embarrassed.
"Thank you," Zhang Qin Feng simply nodded to her before he left on his car.
"Stein, Aurora Hotel." Zhang Qin Feng set his next destination to the hotel. While in his mind, he's considering what to do with this corrupt representative.
