Although he was in an intimate relationship with them, the thought of having a child together never came to his mind.
Furthermore, because the concept of having a family is different between this post-apocalypse and the modern world, Zhang Qin Feng finds himself stuck in between two world's opinions.
He could understand why would Satella be filled with anticipation here, but at the same time, unable to find peace in his mind because there's a slight difference in mentality.
The two noticed Zhang Qin Feng's awkward expression. They couldn't help but be filled with some worry if he's disgusted by the thought of letting Satella gave birth to his child.
"If-If you're unhappy about that, we can just put that thought aside." Satella quickly changed her mind. She had a feeling that she had gone overboard in regards to this matter.
Feeling that his reaction wasn't supposed to give them such an impression, Zhang Qin Feng grabbed Satella's hand and pulled her over to his lap. Valerian was still by his side while he did what he felt has to be done.
"Listen to me…" Zhang Qin Feng explained himself.
He had a feeling that this was something he has to talk about here before there's more misunderstanding arises during the process. Although he was not as well informed about pregnancy, he had a specific understanding of the meaning of building a family.
Zhang Qin Feng begins by talking about what family means from his perspective in the modern world and what it means to have a child with a partner. While the information doesn't go deeply into how to bring that child together, he felt there's a responsibility to let Satella know about this.
It seems that his choice was a correct one because Satella and Valerian's mentality was still based on the convenience of the pre-apocalypse technology.
From their part of understanding, conceiving was an entirely different matter altogether. While Satella accepted the idea of carrying the child for nine to tenth months before labor, she assumed that the child would be put into the growth tank afterward.
Satella felt that she's indeed rushing things a little here because it never came to her mind that conceiving would take such a long process.
"It's okay. Let's do it one thing at a time." Zhang Qin Feng gently patted her head before pulling both of their hands and heading to the bed. While the mood might be spoiled slightly from the talk about children, it did not hamper his sexual urge to bone both of them.
The two eventually surrendered to his sexual prowess after going on for a few rounds.
On the next day, Zhang Qin Feng visited the Heavy-Engineering Department and met with Adam and Frank. He was greeted by a mammoth-class vehicle once the door fully opened.
Just as he visioned, this Mobile Command Center that they'll be producing would be the gamechanger in this attempt to control the Turbine Town. If it weren't because they had an issue with manpower, they could start the operation at any time.
Only a few more fittings have to be done on this vehicle before it is fit to be taken out of the base. To make it easier for them to call, Zhang Qin Feng simply named this mammoth-class vehicle the Wind Base's MCC-01.
It will be taken to the frontline ASAP after all the fittings are done. As for the MCC-02 coming out a week later, Zhang Qin Feng will see if anything needs to be added later.
Going out with the MCC-01 was the two older Reprinter Units. As for the base uses, it has been replaced by two newer units, where one of them was Unit 3 that was damaged earlier in the previous battle.
In the next few days, the fight to claim the motorway was much easier than before. The existence of MCC-01 made it much easier for the soldiers to move forward and lay their foundation where when required.
And the previous fight where four Tyrant-Type units were taken down made their attempt to control the motorway much smoother than before. On the day MCC-02 was pushed out from the factory, the Wind Base finally had total control over the highway to Turbine Town.

"Boss, we'll have to come up with a plan if we're thinking about attacking the town," Alex said as he reported to Zhang Qin Feng. It seems that after laying down their control over the highway, the signal towers were installed immediately to expand their range of communication.
The number of vehicles is also slowly growing as they started to prepare to expand their control to the previous Wind Base.
But right now, another problem arises.
It seems that the zombies had the impression that the survivors are going to attack the Turbine Town soon and started to congregate around the motorway's exit. Facing close to ten thousand zombies blocking the door, even Zhang Qin Feng dared not make a reckless decision without preparations.
Furthermore, the Tyrant-Type occasionally attacked them when they're unaware, making defending this point harder than usual.
"I know. How frequent is the attack in recent days?" Zhang Qin Feng asked. He knew that they can't continue to be passive right now.
"Two to three times. Up to date, we've hunted over twenty Tyrant-Types. But it seems that their numbers didn't reduce at all." Alex replied.
"There must be something happening in the Turbine Town that maintain their numbers. Would it be possible for us to form a team to explore the shelter?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
"That would be impossible, boss. With the number of zombies gathering here, I'm sure the town center is infested to the brim. Unless you're thinking about using the Wolfram Light once again, it would be impossible for us to get in." Alex said.
"Report!" another soldier interrupted their conversation as it gets to the crucial part.
"What happened?" Alex asked.
"Sir, we've located a group of survivors coming in our direction! It seems that they're followed by a group of five Tyrant-Types!" the soldier reported. As the one overlooking the frontline on top of the MCC, it was a given that they can see further than what the others could.
"Satella!" Zhang Qin Feng connected his link to his trusted woman.
"I'm on it."
"Alex, get a team to go out there and secure a route for them to come in," she added and took a modified Anti-Material Rifle out from the MCC's rooftop.
