Captain Hu extended his hand to Zhang Qin Feng and grabbed the fresh can of beer from his hand. He was too absorbed in the mood to not question how the beer remained icy cold while it was kept inside the car.
As someone with the Tianhe Squadron from its beginning until now, no one else knows more about the story than he does. It seems that the problem happened four years ago, where the Tianhe Special Squadron was split into two after a failed overseas mission.

Having fallen from their status as one of the three proud squadrons of the Dongcheng, Wang Wu, the cousin brother of Wang Yufei, also the only son of the deceased Major Colonel, takes the initiative to break away from the Tianhe Special Squadron.
Through their private connection with multiple parties and underground forces, they left and reformed into what was known as the Xuanwu Gang.
At first, the Xuanwu Gang was just a local gangster that collected protection fees for some protection from minor troubles. But as the gang gets more notable, the mentality in them also slowly changed.
The gang started to deal with drugs and firearms, prostitution, and illegal loanshark activities. Using some influence as part of a member of the Wang Family, he controlled a few family businesses for his own greed.
This made the Wang Family that used to be many keys in one keychain, separated into a few factions. The elder Wang's faction remained traditional, Wang Wu's faction that took the drastic measure, and factionless, like Wang Yufei.
The rebellious act of Wang Wu causes the Elder to start to lose his reach over the multiple businesses that belonged to the Wang Family. Furthermore, his action also pulled the government's support further away from the Tianhe Special Squadron.
While they're still looking like a proper squadron outside, only those working from within knew what was happening. The Tianhe Special Squadron was no different from an empty shell, a paper tiger without the government's support.
What they had now was the leftover from the wealth Elder Wang has. And while the Xuanwu Gang is slowly expanding its claw across the Southern and Western Districts of Shuiyue City, the Elder's power is diminishing day by day.
It won't be long before the Xuanwu Gang takeover the right from Elder Wang. Even Captain Hu was approached daily to turn against the Elder and submit to the new Tianhe Special Squadron, Xuanwu Gang.
"Why don't the government restrict the Xuanwu Gang's spreading across the Shuiyue City? I'm sure that they had the power to do so, correct?" Zhang Qin Feng asked as he handed the third can of beer to the captain.
"Heh… Do you think it's that easy? Although I am not entirely convinced by Wang Wu's method, it worked much better than what we're doing." Captain Hu said.
"Wang Wu had some evidence of the current General Secretary's dirty secret. This is how he protects himself from getting demolished by the two other squadrons." he drunk half of the beer before finishing what he was going to say.
"What do you mean by the two other squadrons?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
"Our Dongcheng has a total of eight Special Forces. One Army, Four Battalions, and Three squadrons. The Tianhe, Tianlang, and Tianhu was a part of the Three squadrons." Captain Hu said.
From his explanation, it seems that the Three squadrons were the lowest ranking members of Dongcheng's Elite Soldier's squadron.
"Does that means… The Four Battalions and One Army were above you guys in ranking wise?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
"You're correct. Only those with the rank of Major and above are qualified to join the Four Battalions. And only those with Colonel's status can join the One Army. Furthermore, you have to remember that each special force's responsibility is different." said Captain Hu.
"You're making me eager to take a look at how different they are compared to the Tianhe Special Squadron." Zhang Qin Feng smiled.
"From what I heard… You've seen Hei-Mang before, correct?" Captain Hu mentioned a pretty familiar name to Zhang Qin Feng. This person was the one he met back in Wang Yufei's restaurant while Zang Qin Feng was still a nobody.
"Yes. I remember that guy. Why?" he asked Captain Hu for the reason to bring this name up.
Everyone in the Four Battalions is about his level. Suppose he were to join the Tianlang or Tianhu Squadron. In that case, he'd be either a vice-captain or a squad leader, depending on the availability. I'm not being humble, but I might be the weakest captain in the three Squadrons."
"While we're talking about this… I'm sure that you have no idea that Wang Wu is quite a good fighter, correct? He's on par with the squad captain of the Four Battalions." Captain Hu added.
From what he was saying, it seems that if the Tianhe Special Squadron didn't split apart due to the internal friction, Captain Hu wouldn't even have the chance to sit in this position. This indirectly shows Zhang Qin Feng that to have strength, money alone was not enough.
"This matter aside. Can I know what happened to the terrorist we've caught?" Zhang Qin Feng asked the following question he had in mind.
