Chapter 203: Uproar From A Steak (3)
"What's your plan?" Alice Moon asked. The aroma from the steak and sensation left from eating the finale still lingers in her mouth as she wondered what is in Zhang Qin Feng's head. Although the period of working together between them was short, she has a rough idea about how changeable this man's mind is seated across her.
"It depends, but from what I am thinking, let's take advantage of my situation as we push the product out. I would be foolish to not use this time to promote something new under my name." Zhang Qin Feng said. He seems to be growing up to know how to take advantage of certain situations for his own benefit.
Thinking about before this, Zhang Qin Feng was not as crafty as he was right now. But that was because he had no money back then. With all kinds of opportunities started to show themselves one after another, he would be foolish to not taking advantage of them.
Zhang Qin Feng's answer made Wang Yufei steal a glance at him.
She felt that her man started to be distant from her and no longer looking like someone without experience like before. This made her wonder if Zhang Qin Feng will change when he has more on his plate.
'Looks like the word about (Men will change when they had money) was true after all…' Wang Yufei's heart skipped a beat from all her worries. Her attention then turned to Alice Moon, who was seated across her by herself.
They continue with their discussion before Zhang Qin Feng left to get the car. After leaving a few words to her staff, Wang Yufei hinted to Alice Moon to get to the entrance together to wait for Zhang Qin Feng's car to come and get them.
"Alice, can I ask you something?" Wang Yufei bites her lower lips a little before making up her heart to ask Alice a few sensitive questions.
"Eh? Sure… As long I know the answer." she had no suspicion of Wang Yufei's emotion at all. Perhaps her mind is still in the business mood and not between a male and female. This made her look insensitive to what is in Wang Yufei's mind.
"Did you approached my man? Or… Should I say… Did he lay his hand on you?" Wang Yufei calmly shoots her question. Part of her knew that this question might make it awkward between them, but she felt it would be worse if she found out the truth when it was too late.
Just like between her and Jun Minji.
Wang Yufei might seem fine and calm, but nobody knew what's happening to her few days before that. Her world of happiness was almost crushed by Zhang Qin Feng's infidelity. During that time, her heart was broken into pieces before it was repaired and breaking once again.
It was a tiresome ordeal that she wished that she wouldn't have to go through again. Knowing that Zhang Qin Feng might be a dragon one day, she sort of accepting the fact that she won't be holding his man's heart all by herself.
But even if that were to happen, she will not lose. Even if she had to share Zhang Qin Feng with others, her heart told her that to be a winner amongst them, holding the most significant portion of Zhang Qin Feng's heart is the way to go.
"Sister Wang… Please believe me. There's nothing between Feng and me. Even if there's anything, it was just between a boss and subordinate. I hope you won't misunderstand things between us." Alice Moon looked panic as she tried to draw a clear line between them.
"Furthermore, when I was introduced to Zhang Qin Feng, I've stated that I'm married early on to evade such a misunderstanding." Alice Moon added. But some of the words were so true that her facial expression betrayed her slightly.
As someone as sensitive as Wang Yufei, it was apparent that she caught the change in Alice Moon's expression. But since the latter insisted that she had nothing romantic going on between her and Zhang Qin Feng, Wang Yufei can only trust her word of mouth.
When Zhang Qin Feng arrived at the restaurant's entrance, the two already calmed themselves. They both sat together at the passenger's seat on the back.
"Hey! Both of you are treating me like a driver." Zhang Qin Feng complained. But the two chuckled and continue with their girl-to-girls discussion while ignoring his plea.
Zhang Qin Feng then drives the car across a few scenic sceneries for a quick getaway before heading home together.
The car was driven into the front porch. While he was busy parking the car and moving Alice Moon's luggage, the two of them already went into the house holding each other's hand.
Alice Moon's reaction was just like when Zhang Qin Feng first came into the house. She was amazed by the chandelier in the reception before the two made their way to the guest room prepared for her five-day stay.
Going into the room with her luggage, Zhang Qin Feng left the luggage beside the bed. Leaving the girls to preparing themselves, Zhang Qin Feng went to the kitchen to get the Food Processor activated with the ingredients ready to be used.
About half an hour later, the two came down through the stairs, dressed in a simple, matching dress. It was not Zhang Qin Feng's first time looking at the casually dressed Alice Moon, but seeing her wearing a long skirt was his first.
"You're beautiful." Zhang Qin Feng praised Alice Moon. His words made Wang Yufei pouted with jealousy, and at the next second, she lunged herself onto Zhang Qin Feng and started to pinch both his cheeks.
As for Alice Moon, she's blushing at where she stood. Her heart seems to be fluttering from simple praise like that.
"Alright. What about getting Fei-Fei to show you how to make your first piece of A6 steak? If you're not worried about getting fat… You can cook it straight after preparing it." Zhang Qin Feng chuckled as he pointed at the Food Processor.
