Chapter 161: Late Dinner
Zhang Qin Feng went to the office after he visited a hardware store nearby to purchase some supplies. There was nothing out of the ordinary until Alice Moon knocked on the door and went inside his room.
She had a restless expression on her face after taking a seat.
"Out of the suppliers… Only two are interested in doing business with us." Alice Moon said and opened the tablet computer in her hand to search for the email they received.
"By the way… When did you move the machinery away? I thought it was still there because nobody said anything. What kind of thing you're trying to do with that anyway? They said the processor is a generation older than the latest one, and the speed is also slower."
Zhang Qin Feng was bombarded by her questions the moment Alice Moon comes into his office. But lucky for him, all the questions asked are still within his control.
At this instant, he noticed that being a business owner was not as simple as signing a few documents and leaving the office for the whole day. The paper and things requiring him to decide kept coming, and before he notices it, it was already time for the workers to clock out.
Since the order they had was hardly enough to need the factory to operate on a 24/7 shift, they fixed the manufacturing schedule to three days a week. That would help them cut expenses from things such as raw material, electricity, and staffing.
Because this was the first time he was staying late in the office, Zhang Qin Feng didn't notice that he was making the others feeling uncomfortable. It seems that everyone is staying in the office because their boss was still around.
It was a puzzling sight for Zhang Qin Feng when he noticed that the four office workers, Jung-Hee, Minha, Hyun-Sik, and Patrick are still in the office.
"What's the time now? Why hasn't everyone go home yet?" he asked. It seems that he was too absorbed in reading the document. Even Alice Moon was still around the office, although the others in her team already went home long ago.
"They're worried they'll get fired if they left their position earlier than the boss." Alice Moon jokes after coming out from her office.
"Ah… No wonder…" Zhang Qin Feng noticed that a little too late.
"Everyone, it looks like I'm not a good boss for keeping all of you around with me until this time. I am sure that everyone must be hungry right now, correct? Shall we go out and get dinner together?" Zhang Qin Feng suggested.
It was considered too late for dinner, but everyone would likely go along with his plan since he suggests it.
They selected a nearby restaurant due to its ample parking space. It was also a pretty good opportunity for the six of them to bond together as a team.
Alcohol is a must for their dinner. And after having some, the atmosphere gets livelier as Patrick soon brought up the question regarding Zhang Qin Feng's marital status.
"Boss! Were you and the Account Advisor a thing?" he said. They're curious about how Zhang Qin Feng would answer because the two seem awkward while they're with the others, but close when it was just the two of them together.
"Hey! What are you guys asking? Keep on drinking." Alice Moon bumps her glass with Patrick's and urges him to keep drinking. She's worried that he'll bring up many things that he shouldn't have because he was tipsy.
"We're colleagues. Don't you guys know that Alice is married?" Zhang Qin Feng answered without overthinking. But it seems his answer was an unexpected one. After he finished his sentence, the other four looked blankly at Zhang Qin Feng and Alice Moon.
There was a blush on Alice Moon's cheek as if a part of her secret is exposed.

'Hah… It never came to my mind that Alice was a divorcee. No wonder she has a different vibe when I'm with her.' Zhang Qin Feng was looking outside of his room's window with a can of beer in hand.
'Stein, activate the Dimensional Travel. I'm sure Victor is restless right now for all the delay.' Zhang Qin Feng chuckled because the supplies he bought this morning are still in the Dimensional Storage right now.

**Whoosh!**
The hotel room turned into a blinding white light as Zhang Qin Feng soon appeared inside his and Satella's room.
'Eh? Where Satella? It's past midnight.' Zhang Qin Feng found it weird that Satella is not on her bed sleeping at this hour. A hint of urgency envelopes his mind right now as he quickly makes his way down the floor to the warehouse.
But similarly, he doesn't see Victor or Valerian in their room either. Even the twins were not in their room at this hour.
'Where has everyone been?' a hint of uneasiness was bothering him as he made his way down to the ground floor. He was hoping that nothing happened because it was too quiet around the base.
Soon, Zhang Qin Feng was stunned by the scene outside of the main building. The quietness is likely due to the good soundproof of the building. Perhaps, the crowd was being careful from making too much noise because it was late at night right now.
"Hey! The boss is here!" Alex was the first to notice Zhang Qin Feng's arrival at the late party.
"Feng?" Satella immediately looked around for Zhang Qin Feng and immediately went to his side like an obedient housewife. She immediately grabbed his arm and pulled him over to the middle of the party before explaining everything to him.
"What's up with all of you today?" Zhang Qin Feng asked. It was puzzling to him to see everyone was out in the middle of the night with food and drinks around them.
"We were celebrating. Do you know what happened today?" Satella answered him.
"What?" Zhang Qin Feng was curious.
"We've found a decommissioned tunnel leading across the mountain area barricaded by the zombies. A few of us already went through the tunnel to check if it's usable, and guess what we found?" Satella kept the suspense on hold.
"Come on, continue." Zhang Qin Feng said.
"We found an old military transport vehicle. Pristine condition."
