Chapter 126: Please Enjoy Your Night

The message wakes Zhang Qin Feng up from his nap after having a conversation with Stein quietly in his mind. From the look of it, the chat with Stein doesn't seem to be a short one.
After reading the text message on the phone, Zhang Qin Feng replied to Alice Moon with a simple sentence.
"OK."

"Hmm… His reply seems to be a little simple… I hope that's just his usual attitude." Alice Moon seems to have something else in her expectation. But right now, she's much more concerned about how this project proceeds.
After all, her salary is based on the total investment from Zhang Qin Feng. With a flat rate of 1% from the investment, her salary would be around 10,000 Yuan Dollars to 50,000 Yuan, based on which direction Zhang Qin Feng decides to take.
Considering the effort she put into her job, such a salary wasn't too high at all.
Zhang Qin Feng soon walked out of the hotel lobby in a smart-casual look. To make himself more presentable for the evening, he even put some wax on his hair and sprayed some perfume before coming out.
"Sorry for making you wait. Shall we go?" Zhang Qin Feng gives out a smile while looking at Alice Moon. It seems that she made an effort to change what she was wearing before coming to see him. Although they're not going out for a date or whatsoever, it was the thought that counts.
The pair walked through a busy street to look for something for dinner. Being the local host, Alice Moon suggested that they went for something quick. Since they're out here for a market survey, they naturally had to see which is the hottest item on the food list.
The two entered a local noodle bar first. Checking out on the number of noodles available on the menu, Alice Moon also took the opportunity to take a few photos of what they have.
This would be a good reference in the future when their discussion comes to packaging, manufacturing method, and ingredients. The concern about advertising and conveniences also had to be considered.
"How is it? Are you alright with eating spicy food?" Alice Moon asked. She realized that the order she made was all spicy options because the locals enjoyed these kinds in fiery flavor.
"I'm OK." Zhang Qin Feng smiled. Although it was spicy, the level of spiciness is still tolerable. But he would have to take some pills soon if the food they'll grabbing will be spicy like this until he returned to the hotel room.
"A question, Alice. What's the deep fry item those people are ordering with their drinks? It seems to be quite popular amongst the people." Zhang Qin Feng was taken aback after counting how many plates were brought out from the kitchen.
"Oh! That's the meat strips in beer-batter. They're delicious on their own, but you can make your own mix using the spices here." Alice Moon opened that little box that was provided on each table. Inside the box were five types of flavorings.
-Salt and Pepper
-Five Spice (Spicy)
-Garlic and Cheese
-Mustard and Paprika
-Hell's Arrival
"What… Is inside that Hell's Arrival spice?" Zhang Qin Feng pointed at that option.
"This choice was not for the regular spicy food enthusiasts. It's a very spicy pepper powder with numbing pepper. But they go along well with our local beer. Would you like to order one along with the beer?" Alice Moon asked if Zhang Qin Feng would like to try.
"Sure. I hope you don't mind having a drink with me." Zhang Qin Feng smiled after listening to Alice Moon's suggestion. Although he's happy to do so, it was a polite gesture to be a little reluctant. Or else, he'll look like he was purposely aiming to get her to drink with him.
"Of course!" Alice Moon smiled after hearing Zhang Qin Feng's reply.
"Excuse me, can we have four cans of local Draft Beer, please? Also, we would like to have a plate of battered meat crisp on our table." Alice Moon ordered like a pro. From how comfortable she looked, things like this weren't her first.
And today won't be their last either. With the ice broken between the two, there'll be more opportunity in the future as they keep meeting one another for work-related meetups.
Two cans. Four, and Six. They finally took it slow when it came to the seventh can of beer. It was hard to believe that Alice was quite a drinker to finish seven cans on her own.
"Where should I get you to, Alice?" Zhang Qin Feng pulled her up from the seats and supported her out of the restaurant. Because it was rather late after their drinking session, the shop was in the middle of closing their store and cleaning right now.
There are still many stalls around them, but they can't continue because Alice Moon seems intoxicated and fell into sleep as soon after they left the shop.
"Alice? Ai…" Zhang Qin Feng shook his head after confirming that Alice Moon had collapsed and fell into his embrace.
"Wow… She's quite full…" Zhang Qin Feng jokes as her chest fell on his as she lost the strength to keep standing. Right now, she's totally out of the picture.
Left with no other choice, Zhang Qin Feng brought her back to the hotel. Worried that putting her on his back would embarrass her further, he carried her like a princess until he stands before the Hotel's Reception.
"Mr. Zhang, how can I help you?" it was a male receptionist working at night. From the look of it, the receptionist was impressed by Zhang Qin Feng's skill in getting a woman back with him to the hotel. As for him remembering him, that's because it's his job to remember the long-stay clients.
"Please get me a room. It would be great if you can make it on the same floor as mine." Zhang Qin Feng said.
"No problem. Give me five minutes, and it will be ready." the receptionist replied. After working with the computer on his table, the receptionist comes to Zhang Qin Feng with a keycard.
"The room is just across yours, Mr. Zhang. Please enjoy your night." he was smiling while placing the card on Zhang Qin Feng's hand. Additionally, he kept the lift open so Zhang Qin Feng wouldn't have to wait.
"This fella…" Zhang Qin Feng smiled.
