Chapter 107: Marvin's Surprise
"Ah… This feels so good…" Satella was rocking her hips up and down as she enjoyed the sensation brought to her body as she moves. Even she was clueless about how can she get so wild on the bed after Zhang Qin Feng came into her life.
'I wonder what feeling is this…' her heart was beating faster, and her body trembled and shivered by a simple touch from Zhang Qin Feng. To her, this man who tasted her body seems to have electricity in him to make her tremble and shivered whenever he touches her.
"Satella… You seem to be enjoying yourself a lot…" Zhang Qin Feng said as he pulled her waist down further. This action made him reached deeper into Satella. The sensation gets more intense than before.
After their fourth round, Satella gave up. She was leaning on top of Zhang Qin Feng's body as she used her pair of puppy eyes to look at him.
You want to know about what happened to the Turbine City a few days ago?" Satella asked.
"Yes. What happened when I was gone? How come the changes happened so drastically from just a few days after I left?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
"We have no idea too. From our initial hypothesis, it was because a Tyrant pops up around the city. Whenever a Tyrant appears, nothing good will come from them." she wasn't too well informed either, but she had a rough guess about what happened.
"A tyrant? There's a tyrant over there?" Won't that make the place more dangerous than before?" Zhang Qin Feng said.
"Well, there is more dangerous than before, but more lucrative reward as well. I'm sure you have no idea about this, but the shelter is responsible for repopulating the settlement."
"I'm sure you know that the cloning shelter is an independent base of its own, correct?" Satella asked Zhang Qin Feng a question.
"Yes. What's about it?" Zhang Qin Feng answered.
"This means, the more zombie the Tyrant and us kill, the more the seeds the shelter will produce. The zombies won't be knowledgeable in using the self-protection equipment provided, but we do. What we need is the zombies and new survivors for bringing the item out."
"This is the cycle that has been practiced for a while until now," Satella explained.
Listening to Satella's explanation gives Zhang Qin Feng an understanding of how everything works. It also enlightened him about how the post-apocalypse sustained its population.
"But… This won't last. We'll have to start getting more people to kill the Tyrant King before it evolved further. It will be Strand Metropolis all over again…" Satella's following words made Zhang Qin Feng feeling puzzled. It was his first time hearing them.
"Strand Metropolis?"
"King?"
Zhang Qin Feng grabbed both of Satella's shoulders as he repeated the two keywords she just mentioned.
"What is that?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
"You never heard of them before? The King I've mentioned is the name of a mutated Tyrant. The place called Strand Metropolis is the nearest large settlement we can get to using the motorway."
"That place is ten times bigger than the Turbine City near us. And it was under the control of the Tyrant King. That place is known as a high-leveled dangerous zone where nobody dares to go." Satella explained.
"Unfortunately, Victor and Valerian both have no idea about how to operate the relic we have inside of the armory. Or else, we can have more people join this fight to get rid of the Tyrant before it grows further," she added.
"I think I have an idea what to do with that thing. Do you call it a Genetic Modifier?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
"Yes. That's the Genetic Modifier. But unfortunately, we don't have enough information and the electronic parts used to operate the machine. But using it to diagnose our physical condition and provide medical help won't be a problem." Satella said.
"I'll look for a way to get the parts we needed. As for now, let's slowly look and weaken the zombies in the Turbine City before their numbers grow further." Zhang Qin Feng suggested.
"En. We'll follow what you say. By the way, you should go to look for Marvin. It seems he made something out from the relic electronics he found in the warehouse." she suddenly brought up the conversation regarding Zhang Qin Feng's mining rigs.
"Wait… You mean… Did he tinker with my stuff?" Zhang Qin Feng asked. Hearing this was a worrying matter to Zhang Qin Feng as he still hasn't copied the digital key saved inside because he was moving them in a hurry.
"I think he did… He was happy while disassembling them and make them into something else. Is that not good?" Satella asked. Since she had no idea what is Digital Currency is all about, it was common for her to look clueless after seeing how ugly is Zhang Qin Feng's face right now.
"Marvin!" Zhang Qin Feng immediately put on his clothing and rushed two floors down to Marvin's office. He doesn't even knock as he turned the knob open and entered the room with an angry face.
"Boss!" Marvin was delighted the moment he saw Zhang Qin Feng first in the early morning. All he had in his mind was an eagerness to share what he had created out from the relics stacked inside the warehouse.
"Oh? You're so happy to see me, huh?" Zhang Qin Feng went forward and put his hand on the clueless Marvin's shoulder.
"Of course, Boss!" Marvin set the tinkering tool aside as he turned around and replied Zhang Qin Feng. As he was so excited about what he had just done from studying the hardware, he had no idea that Zhang Qin Feng was going to throw a fit right now.
"Marvin, my good man… Do you have anything to say before I do what I wanted to do to you?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
"If the Boss could, please bring me more of these little trinkets. I'll try my best to create more things for you!" Marvin replied. He was happy.
"Good. Then your lesson is here." Zhang Qin Feng puts his arm around Marvin, and using his fist, he gives him a good beating for touching his stuff without approval.
"Should I teach you to not tinker with other people's stuff without permission?" Zhang Qin Feng said.
