Tobi explained that negative magic is used every day by everybody, and it makes life all the more easier for them.

However, as they talked and passed by, Lenny noticed that his small party drew the attention of everybody.

People just stopped whatever it was they were doing and turned to the three of them.

Lenny assumed that it was because they were new faces.

Just then, the hunger and thirst Lenny had suppressed kicked in again, and his stomach made an embarrassing noise.

~~Grrrhhh~~

Lenny instantly turned to Tobi, "Any ideas on where we can get food?"

"Yes, of course, monsieur Lenny. Skull Head is a town known for its incredible Desert Scorpion Wine and Spider Pepper Soup. Please, follow me!"

After a few turns here and there, Tobi led them into a rather small-looking parlor.

Even from outside the parlor, one could smell the sour-flavored wine mixed with the fresh smell of food, obviously garnished properly with a lot of spicy ingredients.

Lenny had not gone in, but he could tell that the chef here knew how to pull in customers with the kind of attention they gave their cooking.

Loud chattering and laughter could be heard from outside.

This surprised Lenny. After all, it was morning.

He did not expect that such loud clattering would be heard from such a place at such a time.

"Is there a party?" Lenny asked.

Tobi scratched his head as he thought about it.

"Well, the Red Skull Magi School is just above that ridge," Tobi pointed far off in the distance.

"The acolytes come here once in a while to celebrate and enjoy themselves. It's not surprising to meet parties like this at any time of the day."

Lenny nodded in understanding, and as Tobi led, both of them followed into the parlor.

The doors to this place were a bit worn out, but the moment Lenny touched them, he could feel negative magic running through the doors and walls.

The moment they walked in, Lenny got that feeling he had whenever he walked through a portal.

Before their eyes was an incredible place, unlike what they saw outside.

"Pocket space," Lenny muttered.

Tobi nodded. Yes! It's a pocket space. Only those Magi that reach at least the rank of Junior Magi and are trained in portal spells can cast such a space."

This place was far bigger inside than it was depicted outside.

It was essentially a dinner with smaller booths at the side.

From the outside, it looked like a bungalow, but Lenny could see stairs leading up to what Tobi informed him was a section only permitted to, firstly, Magi or any person above the acolyte level considered to be an important guest.

This place was quite bright, with lamps on the ceiling that were powered by magic.

It looked like a typical restaurant from Lenny's old world.

In fact, it gave Lenny the slight, subtle illusion that he had somehow gone back in time.

The place was clean and tidy, as expected of a restaurant.

The only thing out of place were the people sitting and eating at different places.

That is, their dressing was mostly off, as cotton was rare and clothes were mostly patches of different colors.

Lenny could easily tell who was more privileged by the kind of clothes they wore.

Even those who worked in this shop were no exception.

Just like before, the moment they walked into this place, all eyes landed on them.

Lenny was starting to think that maybe it was their clothing.

After all, he and Perseus were dressed very differently.

Glenn's Domain was an expanse of land that was very self-sufficient and was made alive by the miracle that was called the Invitation Stone.

That stone, which was the accumulated blood essence of millions, ensured that the domain never lacked.

Lenny and Perseus were dressed in full black, with comfortable padding at the joints.

Evidently, their clothes had been made for the comfortability of fighting.

But the most unique thing about it was that it was made up of just one color.

That was obviously not easy to find.

"Let's get a seat and eat!" Tobi suggested.

However, there was suddenly loud cheering.

It came from upstairs.

It was from this place that Lenny had been hearing the cheers from even outside the parlor.

While Tobi went to one of the booths at the side, Lenny called over one of the waitresses.

The young girl panicked a bit the moment Lenny singled her out.

"What is going on up there? Is it a party or something?"

She nodded. "Yes, the Red Skull just had new acolytes graduate to rank 1 Magi. It is always an incredible thing to get promoted. The young lady had worship and longing in her eyes. Obvious envy of their positions.

However, Lenny could not help but smile internally.

This young lady obviously did not know how lucky she was that she was not a Magi. After all, Lenny currently had a mission that had the Magi of Red Skull flashed about it.

"They are celebrating the event up there." The waitress added.

Lenny nodded. "Thank you for the information! He took her hand, leaving a magic stone within.

At first, she panicked at this, but the moment she saw what she had been gifted, she quickly hid it in her clothes.

She did not know, but this was a subtle habit assassins had. They always tipped their information brokers.

Lenny walked towards the stairs, "Perseus, Tobi. Come, we are eating breakfast up!"

Instantly, Perseus followed along, walking directly behind Lenny like a dutifully guarded bodyguard.

As they advanced up the stairs, everyone looked at them with pity in their eyes.

Tobi was no exception.

Although he knew that Lenny was capable,

Especially from the things he saw Lenny do the night before.

However, fear overwhelmed him.

After all, this was the Magi, and this was their territory.

Even after Lenny and Perseus had advanced up, his knees still shook below.
