"Since you have the memories of all the souls that make you Glenn, I'm sure you know where this fucking Judas City is, right?" Lenny asked

"Unfortunately, it does not work like that?" She sighed lowly.

"I don't think you heard what I said. So I'm going to say it again. It's called Judas, the ETHEREAL city. There is a reason why it's called ETHEREAL. It's an incredible city that exists between planes. What's more, it has never touched the earth."

Lenny raised a brow at this.

"Let me get this straight. You are saying that firstly, one cannot see it with normal eyes, and secondly, it is fucking flying?"

Glenn rolled her eyes a little but still nodded.

"Yeah! In layman terms, that's basically it."

"Then how did you find it?"

"Well, Judas is always moving. For that reason, the locals call it Judas Groove. It just so happened to fly above my domain that day. My souls were in dire need of help then, and so they sent one to the city. Besides, seeing through the eyes of a soul is far more efficient. However, that experience was not a good one." Glenn looked as if a chill had run through her spine.

Evidently, whatever it was that she had experienced in Judas haunted her till now.

"The angel in question is a prisoner of Judas. There are many rumors about it. Some say that its power is what drives the city. I have seen it. It's not in the best of conditions."

Lenny nodded. "It does not matter. In fact, it's even better in its current condition."

Glenn could see the look in Lenny's eyes. She could already tell what he was planning on doing. She couldn't help but frown.

"Trust me when I say this, Lenny, not even the arena can compete with how terrible a place like Judas is. I advise you not to go near that city. Even the part of me that went there came back only by luck, and I was also horrified. Besides, the angel is not the only prisoner of its category in that place. There are others, too. Even a great demon like Momoa has to be careful in such a place."

She looked at him up and down and shook her head. "You will not make it?"

Surprisingly, Lenny was not offended by her statement.

Instead, he could feel the blood in his veins boil even more.

This was a place that even a person like Momoa, who was a great demon, had to be careful of.

Surely, it was not a place to be taken lightly.

But Lenny had already made up his mind to visit the Ethereal City.

The more Glenn talked horribly about the place, the prettier it became in his head. It was like adding extra sprinkles to a big cake.

He just could not help it. It was his nature. The love for violence, chaos, and death was a pull that tugged heavily at his heart and soul.

To deny him such was like denying a starving baby it's mother's tits.

Glenn could see that there was nothing she was going to say that would sway Lenny.

She decided to just let it go.

"Ciri was a very influential witch. I'm sure of this. After all, even though she was Ella's slave in secret, she was still an elder witch. Tell me, don't you know anyone that could point me in the direction of the city?"

Glenn thought for a few seconds.

"It's not exactly straight forward. I know a guy that knows a guy that knows a pack of werewolves that can help you get there."

"Werewolves!? They exist?"

"Of course they do. You have already met demons, devils, and witches. What the fuck were you expecting? Let me tell you, the world is far more broad than what you see in books."

She advised him like a mother cautioning her son.

"Werewolves are originally from this world. They are a part of what we call the blessed bloodlines. These are humans with specific superhuman abilities. However, when the Apocalypse happened, they immediately moved into action, as they were the only creatures with the capability to fight the demons. Unfortunately, many such packs and tribes were wiped out. Those that remained went into hiding or submitted to different Demon nobles and families for protection."

Lenny nodded his head. "Good! I want you to make your contacts. I'll be heading there as soon as possible."

Those words made Glenn widen her eyes.

"But... But... It's safe here. As a result of the Pact, this territory can never be invaded by demons or devils. It is the Eternal Pact. Not even the City of Judas can break this pact. But out there, you will be like a mouse in the midst of snakes. Must you go? Besides, you have me here. We can live our days here, and we... we can even do it every day if you like."

Glenn had a worried expression on her face that only made her look more adorable.

Lenny could not help but give her a side smile as he patted her head.

There was no way he could explain things to her.

She would not understand.

No! She could not understand, even if understanding was possible. After all, Lenny was willing to trade a life of relaxation, comfort, and even pleasure for a life of blood, pain, and battle.

In this place, he could have anything he wanted to eat, go anywhere and be respected, and even have any woman he wished.

But as a man, or better still, as the kind of man he was, he did not believe that he could find such a life entertaining.

He would quickly become bored.

In fact, he could already feel the boredom creeping up behind him.

He looked her in the eyes as he said each word with meaning from his heart.

"Man was born for a purpose. Mine is the order in chaos, the joy in pain, the life in death, and the rebirth by the destruction of my hands."

(Author's note: Damn! Lenny, that quote be giving me chills)
