This Place was a domain.
It was created by an Elder Witch. Her name was Ciri.
Being an Elder Witch was equivalent to being a Great Demon.
Negative Magic was also known as cursed magic, and this place thrived with that of the elder witch.
Everything that lived or breath in the domain lived by her mercy and grace.
The forest Lenny and the others had come through was known as the forest of unbounded suffering.
It was a place ruled by Negative Spirits, eternally morphed and punished souls that did the Witch's bidding.
That place was a no go area for anybody.
Even the beasts of the land avoided that place as much as possible.
If the negative Spirits there did not kill a person, then the negative or cursed magic there would.
It was practically a miracle that Lenny and the others survived.
A feat that would have not happened if the domain was not dying.
Yes, this was a dying domain.
The reason for this was simple.
Ciri the witch was actually dead.
The Witch Lenny had met by accident was actually not the real Ciri.
According to scarface, after the end of the world happened fifty years ago, Ciri thought it was time for her to advance her level once more.
However, moving from one level to another was not so easy for Witches.
Expecially for those that had decided to not trade their body parts with creatures of the nether, Underworld or even hell.
Her soul was destroyed in during the process, leaving just her body behind.
This was the body of an elder Witch. It was practically a priceless treasure.
One that others would fight for.
Like most Witches, Ciri was part of a Coven of twelve other witches. All of whom were lesser witches.
These Witches all fought Fiercely for ownership to her body, and in that terrible battle, ended up destroying themselves.
Their own bodies ended up becoming malignant horrors of nature and were forced to leave them.
Having nowhere else to go, they all entered Ciri's body.
This was eleven Witches souls on one body.
Even if it was that if an Elder Witch, it was still too much.
Naturally, the body degraded.
If this body were to die, all eleven of them would die.
With no way out of this terrible dilemma, they had no choice but to feed off the negative Magic of the Domain itself.
This naturally affected the sustainable life of the environment.
The negative Magic was no longer enough to go around.
The mutated beasts had no choice but to feed on each other to sustain themselves.
After all, the domain came with its own rules.
Those that were wounded or injured were given priority attention with negative Magic.
It was this feeding process Lenny had interupted when he and the others came out of the unbounded Forest of suffering.
Lenny learnt that this place was created by the witch to actually become a sanctuary for humans as elder witches were aware of the time of the apocalypse.
However, because of rules attached to the Pact, they could tell no one.
Fearing for the end of the human race, they amazed those that believed in them into the domain.
This domain was once a life rich place with colors and rainbows.
There was plenty to eat and even much more to celebrate about.
However, the eleven Witches, feeding on the domain have upset the entire balance and structure.
This upset had terrible consequences.
Now, food was scarce and very expensive to find.
The Negative magic, no longer controlled had also corrupted the bodies of it's residence, turning them into Ghouls.
To make matters worse, it destroyed the natural fortification that the domain had.
Places like the the Forest of suffering were actually defensive measures that had been put in place against intruders and invaders of malicious nature.
Even the Mutated beasts once served this nature.
However things had changed.
From time to time, one creature or the other would find it's way into the Domain.
This was most especially true for when the domain was teleported to certain places.
Sometimes, wandering animals that had managed to survive the end of the world would stumble in, and other times, Mutated beasts, transformed by the radiation of the outside world.
Radiation that was caused by the use of multiple nuclear weapons when the apocalypse occured.
A defensive measures that human beings had rushed to use with no other alternative against demons.
They were other times that even more terrifying creatures managed to make it into the domain.
These creatures were a wide range of supernatural beings.
There were times were a combined effort of the beasts could easily destroy the invaders, and other times, the new 'Ciri' had to take the initiative into her hands.
For this reason, the domain was most usually teleported to places that had demon towns or cities nearby.
Or places with devils around.
These were surprisingly the safest places for the domain to be.
The reason was because of the Pact.
Neither demons nor devils could set a foot into a Witch's territory.
It was a kind of honor granted to them by the underworld and the gates of hell for a small part they played in the apocalypse.
But as earlier stated.
That did not mean that other creatures could not step in. Even other Witches where not exempted.
But finding an elder Witch was very rare.
It was like searching for diamond in a bowl of crystals.
It was both rare and difficult.
For this reason, most Witches would not dare enter Ciri's domain.
Incurring the wrath of an Elder Witch was asking for permission to an unsatisfying death.
For this reason, the Domain had lived and suffered even from other Witches simply by the illusion of the power of a witch that was long gone.
However, that was not all. There was more.
The Witches occupying Ciri's body have figured a way...
