For Perseus, he believed that his new gift with his Darkline magic was in part, a curse that had been placed on him.

The others did not know, but every time Perseus used his power, a certain feedback of it was sent back to his brain, and the pain it came with was only endured by his desire to survive.

However, it is said that little drops of water over time on stone, will eventually break it.

Although, Perseus was still a long way from there, he would some times sit and imagine the day he lost it, and what would happen afterwards.

He wondered if it would break his mind and he would go on a rampage and probably kill everyone around him.

This subtle fear was not something he recognized at first, but from the first night in this forest, it had started to slowly grow on him.

If he were to confess, his biggest fear was actually hurting Lenny, the person that had blessed him with such a formidable advantage and opportunity.

In this manner, they all continued. Until the fifth day.

Crusher's level of patience had not always been the greatest, but now, his worry was getting to his head.

Crusher had never had to be worried for another person like he did for Insect-B.

Not even his former crew of gladiators that he had escaped into the Chimera caves with came a tard but close.

Instead, when they betrayed him, it was no problem for him to stand on Lenny's side and send them to their maker.

However, handling new feelings was headache no one truly managed well, and when that stress was built to a certain point, it naturally revealed itself in frustration and anger.

Both of which were very terrible combinations when it came to men with power in their hands.

"That's it!" Crusher stopped, "I have had it with this. We have been going towards that cottage for five days. Five days now, and we don't even look as if we are getting any closer to it. I have had it with this. The Negative spirits did not even take Insect-B that way in the first place."

Lenny sighed at this. It was like he was looking at an overgrown baby throwing a tantrum.

"You know, the negative Spirits will get you too if you leave, right?" Lenny stated the obvious.

"No! Let him leave. It's not as if he really wants to get her back anyway!" Athena suddenly added.

Those words reached Crusher's ears and he stopped in his tracks and turned about.

"What did you say, Miss 'oh my god deeper, deeper, I want it deeper'?" Crusher made a terrible mocking of Athena's Sexual moans, and Lenny and Perseus cracked a laugh.

This annoyed Hector and he stepped forward to defend her.

However, he did not face Crusher.

Instead, his attention turned to Lenny.

"And why are you laughing? You know, maybe Crusher is right. Maybe you don't want to find Insect-B, huh!

"After all, I have heard her call you father, but certainly, you don't treat her like your child."

Hector believed that Lenny was laughing at his sexual prowess.

Lenny turned to Hector and a sudden frown appeared on his face.

"I think it would be wise of you to watch your mouth." Lenny stated firmly.

The moment Lenny said that, Hector heard the wihisper in his head again, "look at him. He wants to get rid of you so that he can have sweet sweet time with Athena's ass. He is even trying to be little you in front of her."

Those words quickly excited his ego, and he stepped forward, "or what? You will do to me like you did the Magistri? Stab me in the back?"

Lenny's frown got deeper, and then he smiled, "who knows, maybe! Or maybe I'll just do it now."

Lenny was not one that liked being provoked, but Hector had really touched a sour spot.

Lenny might have killed the Magistri, but that was because he had no choice.

He had to do it.

Besides, he really considered him as a worthy opponent. If it was during different circumstances, they might have even ended up as good alies or even friends.

Although that last word was considered to be really expensive to Lenny, he really thought that the two of them were alike.

The only thing was that the Magistri lost his hope, and while Lenny had nearly lost his many times, he had ways found a way to climb back up.

It really pissed him off when Hector talked bad about him.

Lenny balled his fists. He too was not a person that dealth well with anger.

This was an action that everyone noticed.

"See! I told you, didn't I?" The voice whispered again in Hector's head, "it's because of Athena. He wants to spread her cheeks and FUCK her. If you don't stop him now, he will get her."

Hector suddenly pushed Lenny's chest. An action that surprisingly saw that he was the one that touched the ground.

After all, the two of them were not of the same power level.

There was absolutely no way he was Lenny's match.

However, this fall to the ground was embarrassing for him, and Crusher's sudden laughter kicked even harder at his Ego.

It made him very angry and he stood up ready for a fight.

However, Perseus suddenly stepped in between them.

"Hey, guys. I don't think you should be fighting." He tried to push Hector back.

However, Hector still stronger than Perseus.

With his rush of anger, he pushed Perseus away roughly.

Perseus flew a short distance before hitting his back on a stone behind him.

The stone cracked at the impart, evidence that the hit was not a small one.

This angered Perseus.

He might have been the weakest here, but he too was a gladiator and having short fuse happen to be a fun attribute with Gladiators.

After all, if one backed down, he could easily be mistaken as being weak.

Perseus in his anger, suddenly....

(Author's note: And there you guys were, worried about character development. Don't worry, I got your back. Please remember to vote up Lenny.)
